Chapter 1.

The year was 2037, we were living in harmony after the events of world governments clashing, although world war 3 was never an event that happened, many still wondered what was the cause of it all, it started 21/07/2037, the day that planet earth was faced with a tremendous force, something bullets, aircraft, military issued weapons couldn't leave marks, we resulted to nukes but they didn't last very long, the small countries were taken with these creatures, these abominations, they wiped the floor with us.

Year 2038 was when it all changed, god saw fit to grant us a chance, he or she whatever it was gave us the power of abilities, wielding enough strength to take down these creatures, some stronger than others, we were able to enhance our technology and equipment, along with defences and fire arms, we quickly rose in power, but as we evolved so did they, we grew stronger and better along with these creatures, always on equal footing, we finally had a fighting chance, but not all are lucky.

"N-no, no, no, th-this is-isn't how i wa-wanted to die" breathing heavily, sobbing and bleeding with serious wounds.

A young girl lay, leaning on the wall of a cave, surrounded by multiple undead creatures.

"Pl-please do-don't kill....me" begging and pleading but to no result it seems that they had no reaction.

However as loud footsteps were heard, soon from the crowd of undead emerged a smoke blacker than night, it was thick and heavy, only a few seconds later these heavy footsteps came out from the crowd of the undead, emerging from it was a black cloaked and shadowy figure wielding a large scythe and lantern in the other hand.

"Wh-what...are...you" coughing up blood and on the verge of passing out.

The young girl felt a tremendous pressure surge over her body, she couldn't move, her body forced into the ground, stepping closer to her, this creature now stood towering over her, as the lantern disappeared from its hand, raising its bone like hand, her body raised high into the air, now facing his shadowy hood, she couldn't even breath, this suffocating feeling, this fear that drove her to a breaking point.

"Pl-please....kill me" in a broken and pleaded voice she could no longer hold it, liquid was seen escaping her lower body, she couldn't take this feeling any longer.

"Human....you....are.....mine" with an airy voice that escaped this creature, fear broke into her mind passing out.

"1 day ago"

*beep* *beep* *beep*

"(Moan) okay...okay I'm awake (yawn)" getting up and pressing the button was a young girl.

"Yao-Nim are you up, come on you said you had work at the guild today" calling out was a younger looking girl.

"Yeah....I'm (yawn) up, hey Ling-Yu are off to school? If so i made tour lunch it's in the fridge don't forget it okay?" Calling out to her younger sister Ling-Yu she heard footsteps towards the kitchen.

"Thanks Sis, remember I'm staying over at a friend's, so I won't be back till tomorrow" about to rush out the door however she heard loud footsteps, turning around her sister was standing there, a bit taller than her.

"Friend? I didn't hear about this, is it a boy or girl?" Tapping with her arms crossed together, her sister grew nervous

"It's a girl, and I already know...no boys till I'm 18 years old okay I got it mom...." dragging on with a slouched posture as she walked out the door

Turning around Yao-Yu had walked back into the kitchen, checking the time it was currently 9:34am, she had to meet up with her guild members at 1:00pm so she had time, making her self some breakfast, she ate slowly enjoying it, afterwards she had quickly cleaned up the kitchen and sitting room, along with her messy younger sisters room and her own.After she were done it was around 10:50 so she quickly jumped in the bath, taking her time.

*ring* *ring*

"Hello is this Gaoto-wan?"Getting a call, Yao-Yu had grabbed the phone to her side, quickly answering the call.

"Yeah its me are you joining the guild's dungeon raid this time around Yao-Yu?" Replying was a male man with a deep voice.

"Yeah, I'll be coming Gaoto-Wan, one o'clock right?" Playing with the bubbles in the bath, popping them and shuffling her feet around.

"Yeah, by the way this dungeon is apparently a higher rank than the last, are you....gonna be okay?" Asking in a concerned and worried voice

"Huh? Yeah of course I'll be fine, after all i got you to back me up right?" Saying so with a cheerful and joyous voice Gaoto-Wan chuckled

"Yeah I'll protect you, just leave it to me" giggling the two ended the call

Getting out of the bath, she quickly got dressed into a blue shirt and jeans tying her hair up into a pony tail so much as not to hinder her, putting over her shirt she put on a UV-06(Utility Vest-Mark 6) along with UB-06(Utility Boots-Mark 6) although the worst gear you could get, it provides efficient protection, however it costs quite a bit of money to purchase gear like this, or any gear at that matter.

Over the years technology and equipment has been enhanced with the use of "mana" mana was the power that some humans were given, large quantities ment the stronger people, after a while people started developing abilities, such as using fire, or water, they were classified as mages, there were tonnes of other different ability users, given names of classes, such as swordsman, knight, wizard, witch, etc, there is an endless supply of abilities, now able to improve gear.

"*whew* Okay now I'm set, let's get going" looking at her self in the mirror she smiled grabbing a short sword next to her sheathing it.

Set she left out the door, walking down the stairs as she was greeted by a lady walking out her door, handing her an orange Yao-Yu thanked her.Rushing towards the main road, she had to catch a bus as it was 12:40 it would take 10 minutes till her bus got here and another 10 minutes to get there, so she was quite good on time.

"HEY, IS EVERYONE HERE?" Yelling out was a slim looking man wearing Utility gear and wielding a claymore that was leaning on his shoulder.

"Sorry Hyuto-Kim were still waiting on Yao-Yu" walking over to the pronounced Hyuto-Kim was Gaoto-Wan

"*sigh* Fine 30 minutes that is as long as we wait, any longer and were leaving" face palming, he was in distress and an inpatient mood

Counting the hunters that are awaiting to go into the dungeon, there was a total of 9 hunters from the Crows-End guild, guild's are implemented with all sorts of hunters ranging from all sorts of abilities, however the top guild's house powerhouses with unique abilities giving them overwhelming strength over other guild's, Crows-End was a small guild consisting of 9 members including Yao-Yu.

Ranks were given out upon what they call "rebirth" it was a special thing that was given to people, gaining powers fit for there rank, ranging from rank, F > E > D > C > B > A > S, all these ranks were separate from each other, there powers were nothing compared to the lower or higher rank, each country had its own set of S rank hunters.

"Gaoto-Wan, where is Yao-Yu it's been half an hour already" annoyed and tapping his foot

Hyuto-Kim was now really unpatient, as Gaoto-Wan stood there nervously laughing, he pulled out his phone quickly calling Yao-Yu.

"Meanwhile"

*ring* *ring*

"*huff* ye-yeah Gaoto-Wan? *pant* I know sorry, I re-really *huff* am rushing there...I'm just 5 minutes away I swear" on call with Gaoto she reassured him that she was close

"Yeah okay I'll see you soon Gaoto-Wan*hyup*" jumping over some things in front of her she ended the call

Rushing through the street, she was quickly making her way towards the location she was sent via email, as she rushed through for a while she entered view of Gaoto, seeing as people were already entering the black red thick smokey looking whirlpool situated in the air.These are dungeons that contain a variety of creatures, along with the dungeon boss how, there are a variety of dungeons from common to uncommon dungeons that can hold very strong monsters inside, however the dungeon they were taking on wasn't that strong only said to be ranked at a low level dungeon of D rank.

"G-GAOTO? GAOTO? *huff*" yelling out towards Gaota-Wan as he finally turned around

"About time Yao-Yu" breathing a sigh of relief

Looking over towards Hyouto-Kim he nodded his head, walking inside, Gaoto-Wan smiled at Yao-Yu as she grinned back cheerfully.

"Okay Yao-Yu when your ready" patting her on the shoulder, nudging her forward

Staring at the surging portal, she became nervous as her strength was only a lowly F rank, standing in front of a D rank dungeon she couldn't help but sweat drop, although they had 4 E rank hunters, 2 healers that are ranked D and E along with Gaoto who is a C rank tank and there leader Hyouto-Kim whose rank is B and a swordsmen class with abilities as there guild leader, however Yao-Yu the lowest of them was only a mere F rank, the lowest of low.

"*whew* Okay, let's get going Gaoto...." walking forward with a strong stride

Entering through the portal, they all had serious actions in doing so, filled with courage and strength they were fighting a serious danger as of this moment.
