the surrounding grass was turned to old black dead grass, with an oppressive scent and power that sent the surrounding area for a few miles, a power that struck everyone harshly, opening her eyes Yao-Yu was met with the very same monster that almost ended her life not long ago. Death stood there staring all so calmly, as she trembled uncontrollably, fear engraved her mind, recalling the memories that haunted her for the past few days.
"CALL ME WHATEVER YOU LIKE, YOU ARE MY BENIFAC...TOR WHAT IS WRONG WITH YO-" spotting her trembling he was confused
"Yo....you....you ki....killed them, y-you YOU BASTARD!" trying to muster up courage but failing only made her look the more scared
shaking in fornt of him and trembling, holding her bottled water to him as if it were a weapon, this showdown were like a rabbit facing a lion, left for dead.
"AS I DID, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WHEN SOMEONE INVADES YOUR HOME AND INTENDS TO KILL YOU, SIMPLY LET THEM LIVE AND KILL YOU?" saying so Yao-Yu could only swallow her words back down

"JUST WHAT? LET THEM LEAVE WELL KILLING AND COMMING BACK WITH MORE PEOPLE TO KILL ME OFF FOR MERE HEADCOUNT" hearing his voice however didn't sound of hatred or anger but question
"I-i don't know...just did you have to?" on the verge of crying from the memories alone
"NO BUT I DID AND WHATS DONE IS DONE" after saying so he had disappeared from view
leaving her there in her own minds volition she tightened her hand around the bottle, with frustration building and rage filling her she wiped away the water that filled her eyes.

"what do you mean the dungeon was empty? you found blood and gear did you not?" speaking so was that said man of the lions-fang guild
"well not exactly empty sir, we found a women she seemed unconscious when we found her" hearing this the man let out a sight of relief
"I see who is she a high ranking hunter I presume, since she was the only remaining hunter who lived...?" hearing this the other figure seemed troubled
"a-actually sir she is...rank F her name is Yao-Yu, when we found her she was on some sort of alter and covered in a black like substance" hearing this peeked the guild leaders interest
"an F rank was the only oner emaining...hah...hah DO YOU TAKE ME A FOOL! IF THAT IS TRUE THEN.....than....*sigh* who is she?" ccalming down he thought a few moments
"ri-right sir her name is Yao-Yu she was an orphan along with her younger sister Ling, she was also apart of the Crows-end guild before the inci-" cutting him off as the guild leader raised his hand
"did you really do a background check? YOU FOOL....first we should be compensating her for her loses and out blunder along with the lose of her guild....Crows-end it?" nodding so he nodded back waving him off
looking over at the document on Yao-Yu he felt pity, reading as her mother had died by the incident of 2037 and her father left.
"I hope she is okay after all of this" looking out the glass wall that peaked over the city

it's been a few days and what I've found out is that this menu, system type thing, nobody can see it except me and Shade(name given to the voice/monster in her head) along with this I have also learnt that doing this daily quest will benefit me going forward, I also get rewards such as gold that I can spend in the [Shop].The Shop can allow me to buy things from different categories such as [Weapons], [Armour], [Potions] and [Scrolls].However buying these items does not come with money instead it requires souls of the dead, which I have none, Shade told me I can get them from the creatures scattered around in dungeons and what not, he also told me that I can gain strength and level up as long as I follow the system.
"BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T ANSWERED WHY YOUR SO GREEDY" yelling at a cloaked figure with mist around it, as it was eating something
"WELL....HUMAN FOOD IS QUITE DELECTIBLE" enjoying himself away in pure bliss

standing up Shade disappeared from view traveling to her, however inside of her hospital room, the door quickly sprang open the door was her little sister Ling-Yu.
"Ling? what're you doing here shouldn't you be at school or doi-" cut off as Ling-Yu quickly grabbed her hugging her tightly
"i-im scared.....there's someones following me..." hearing this Yao-Yu grew pissed off
"WHERE.....?" with a cold and dead voice Ling-Yu started laughing
"hahaha I'm joking sis....jeez your so overprotective, anyway here I'm here to drop off some clothes....by the way who were you talking to before?" flinching as she said that Yao-Yu tried coming up with an excuse
"uh, what do you mean I wasn't talking to anyone....." making it awkward
"riiigghhtt....well hey mind if I stay at Chae-Rens house today?" saying so as she pulled out clothes from her bag
"oh yeah sure no problem and thanks for the clothes, also why aint you at school?" still pointing it out now it was Ling-Yu turn to flinch
"huh....what are you talking about, oh shoot look at the time gotta go BYE SIS!" before she could even say anything she shut the door
"SHES WEIRD....VERY WEIRD" hearing this Yao-Yu tilted her head semi agreeing
watching as time went on by she quickly did her daily quest once more, doing so she was still having a hard time with it, after a while she had finally completed it.
