Placing her head against his she felt his temperature. Leaning back she looked at the stunned Kim Sang Chul, "That's true, your temperature seems to be high, do you have any other symptoms."
"Last night I couldn't sleep because I was sweating too much," he answered.
Rucheng, "Does Scholar Village have a physician?"
Sang Chul, "It does."
Rucheng, "Let's go."
Sang Chul, "Go where?"
Rucheng, "To the physician to get you checked."
Sang Chul, "No!"
"You have no choice, come!" she ordered, pulling him by the hand, they walked off, "Seal!" Left her mouth. A suction sound came from the pavilion making her stop. Turning around she looked at the pavilion and it seemed fine.
Touching her lips, 'What was that?' Sang Chul beside her looked at the pavilion too. "What was that?"
"I don't know," letting go of Sang Chul's hand she ran up to the pavilion and pushed open the doors. Stopping inside her class she saw that everything was the same as before.
Counting all the bodies on the floor, and only one was not there. Frowning she closed the doors, "Seal." The suction sound sounded at her word.
Pushing the door open, it opened. Again she opened it and nothing changed, closing it, "Seal," the suction sounded again.
Open – close – seal – suction.
Open – close – seal – suction.
Seeing that the same thing occurred she stepped back sealing it once more. Looking at Sang Chul, "Come here."
Standing beside her he asked, "What's happening?"
"Open the doors," she commanded him.
Raising his eyebrow he looked at the door. Slowly stepping forward he placed his hands on it and nothing. Feeling his strength leave his body. Helpless he looked up at her, "Aunty… I can't open it."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, why can't you?" she mocked.
Sang Chul, "Don't know."
Raising her hand she pushed the door open, closing it again with a Seal.
Looking at Sang Chul, "Let's go, lead the way." Sang Chul looked at his teacher strangely then lead the way.
"Sang Chul-ah~" she sang.
"Aunty~" he whined.
Rucheng, "You adapt quick."
Sang Chul, "My father is the general~"
Rucheng, "Don't tell anyone~"
Sang Chul, "Okay~"
Rucheng, "You promise?"
Sang Chul, "I want free play."
Rucheng, "Don't worry, you'll enjoy my lectures."
Sang Chul, "I don't want to see the physician."
Rucheng, "Out of the question."
Sang Chul, "I'll tell."
Rucheng, "You might have an incurable illness."
Sang Chul, "… Okay~"
'It's not good to threaten children but this one… you gave in easily,' she grinned.
Stopping in front of a pavilion decorated with red and green silk flags, Kim Sang Chul pointed up at the plaque, "Aunty, we've reached the medical centre."
Squinting her eyes, she rubbed the back of her neck with a strained smile on her face, looking down at his big brown eyes, "Let's go in."
Stepping into the medical centre the smell of sweat, medicinal herbs and incense warped through the air. Raising her arm she covered her nose, following after Sang Chul.
"Stop! Stop, stop, where are you going? This isn't a place for the likes of you!" Whipping her head to the right she was met with a slender pale finger pointed at her nose.
Looking dead straight into the owner's eyes. Rucheng's eyes turned gold. The owner of that finger felt an imminent danger press against his body. Cowering into himself he stuttered, "N-No nononononono onne is ttttto entttter wwwith out permission."
Rucheng turned to Sang Chul, "Sang Chul, who is this?"
Sang Chul, "Don't know."
Get out of my way!" she ordered.
"Nnnnnoooo ooone!"
"SILENCE!!" she yelled. Her voice startled those inside making them come out from the rooms to see whats going on.
Rucheng had not realized yet that she had caught everyone's attention. "Is this not the medical centre?"
"I-it i-is." He said frightened
Rucheng, "Is this not the workplace of the Heavenly University's, Scholar Village physician?"
"I-i-it i-is."
Rucheng, "Then explain to me why I am not allowed to enter."
"T-t-this i-i-is a p-p-place of business, you need an appointment to meet master Teng."
'No more afraid?' she thought seeing that he stopped stuttering. Looking around she suddenly had an audience. Lowering her gaze it landed on Kim Sang Chu. He looked up at her, whispering, "I warned you."
'So this is what you meant." Tilting her head her eyes turned sharp, still golden. Calming down, her eyes curved into down facing crescents; smiling wickedly. Seeing her smile many felt a shiver run up their spine.
Rucheng, "Business… a place of business you say."
"Yes."
Rucheng, "Why would there be a place of business inside the Scholar Village?"
"It just is!"
Rucheng, "I see… Sang Chul-ah~ Teacher cannot remember the code of conduct of the Heavenly University's Scholar Village, can you please enlighten me."
Looking up at his teacher, he wasn't happy… "Teacher Rucheng, the Scholar Village is a place of learning, anything else that has nothing to do with the Scholar Village or Heavenly University is against the rules."
Rucheng hummed, "I see…"
Side eyeing him she held out her hand, "Sang Chul-ah, let's see the physician."
"Yes teacher," he sang dryly.
Just as they stepped to the side another person stepped out blocking their way. The person before them had on an embroidered blue robe.
Clenching his hand in hers Sang Chul greeted, "Greetings Lady Yang."
Looking down at the one who just greeted her, Lady Yang's eyes widened, "Aren't you the son of General Kim? What are you doing here?"
'Wow…' Rucheng stood beside Sang Chul and marvelled, a general's son. In her hand she held his and what others couldn't see, she felt.
While he greeted Lady Yang, he wrote in her hand. 'Yang clan's second daughter, vice headmaster's goddaughter.
'Well, well, well, I am definitely making enemies on my first day of work…'
"Yes, Lady Yang, I am General Kim's son," he answered with respect.
"How is the General doing? With the competition around the corner, your family must be busy with preparations," she says while ruffling his hair and Rucheng noticed the displeasure on Sang Chul's face.
"Very busy," he answers fixing his hair with his free hand.
Having enough conversing with a child she looked at Rucheng with contempt, smiling she asked, "Lady Qin, what brings you here?"
