while Chris was wandering around the ruined city his friends has finished processing their documents and went to the underground room together.
when they arrived in the room they saw that one of the pods was already closed and when they went to it they saw Chris inside the machine they looked at each other as they went to the other machines.
"well lets get started since we don't have anything else to do." Patrick said as he went inside the machine and closed the hatch.
"yeah lets do that" the others said at the same time while going inside their own machines and closing the hatch.
As soon as the machines closed the hatch and they fell asleep the AI of the room locked the area and started the long cold sleep as it was ordered.

Inside the game
Patrick and the others entered the same code and experienced the same thing that Chris had but the difference was they were altogether while he was alone. when they landed on the ground they all looked around but wasn't able to see anything but a ruined city so they decided to split up and search the area. Henry and Charlotte decided to go outside the city, Arnold and Mia split up and went to different sides of the city while Isabella went to the center of the city to check it.

Patrick's pov
While walking towards the gate Patrick was observing his surrounding for any surprises and after walking for an hour he finally found the gate and went towards it. when he went close to it he discovered that it was about to collapse so he decided to carefully try to push it open but when he just touched it and push it a little it fell on its own with a loud noise and lots of dust, Henry hurriedly pulled out his weapon just to be ready if there is any enemy around but after being alert for a minute without any enemies in sight he relaxes and continue towards other side of the gate.
He peeks out but is unable to see anything aside from a very wide plain without any vegetation for as far as he can see. he proceeds carefully until he walked to an area where there is grass but still nothing so he continued to walk and maybe after walking for an hour he see a wide plain were there are some animals that look like cows , sheep, chickens and bulls, and then there was also a large forest beyond the plains and he can hear some wolves howling, he went towards the plains and as soon as he stepped on the grass the bulls looked at him and started to prepare to charge at him, he looked around and saw the other bulls also doing the same thing while the other animals were going away as if they were scared.
Henry was surprised and readied his sword just in case the bulls charge at him. he carefully walked forward as the bulls stared at him hard. when he reached about 10 steps a bull suddenly charged at him alone. he was surprised but was not scared, he readied his sword and stepped to the side as soon as the bull was near him then he swung his sword down when the bull was passing by his side, he was able to hit the bull and injure it but it was a light wound because he was not used to fighting using a sword. the bull was bleeding at the side an was preparing for a second charge while the other bulls was also doing the same as they saw one of them get injured.
Henry saw the other bulls also started charging at him after he injured the bull so he decided to run back to the city. while running was looking back from time to time and noticed that the bull didn't follow him back to the city and stopped after he went out of the plains.
he sat down to rest as he didn't notice how nervous he was but he was happy since this was a very exciting experience for him. he sat down while looking at the plains where he saw the bulls also looking at him. after he rested for about 10 minutes, he decided to look around elsewhere.

Charlotte pov
Charlotte was following Henry till the gates but separated with him went he went away from the city. she decided to follow the wall to see how its overall condition is, as she was walking along the wall she saw that the wall perfectly fine however there was no vegetation outside for as far she can see, after walking for an hour she found another gate and it looked to be in the same condition as the first gate she saw, she continued following the wall and after 4 hours of walking she finally reached the first gate she was from and on the way she counted 4 more gates making it a total of 5 gates. she decided to sit beside the gate and wait for henry to come back.

Arnold's pov
While looking at the others go on their own he looked at Mia then his surrounding.
"well should we looked around together or should we also go on our own?" he asked Mia.
"hmmmmm... I think it would be good to go on our own since it will be faster that way" she replied to arnold.
Arnold nodded his head and pointed to the east direction and said "then I will go and search in this direction"
Mia agreed and went towards the opposite direction.
Arnold also started walking while being vigilant of his surroundings.
while he was walking around all he can see is ruined buildings, some of them are still whole some only has walls remaining while others are just rubble of stone piled up. after walking for about 3 hours and still nothing new that he can see on his surroundings, he meets up with Mia who went to the other direction and he told her about what he found while she said that it was the same for her. they decided to go to the tallest building to get a look at the city from as high as they can.

Isabella's pov
Isabella walked towards the center of the city after parting with the others. and while she was walking alone she was observing the city and was wondering what happened her for it to be left in this state and where were the residents of this city now. she was thinking about this things as she walked and observing the city until she reached the center of the city where a large mansion stands as if a it was just recently built. she was hesitant to come near the mansion as the whole city was in ruins bit in the center was a mansion in its prime condition. she walked around the mansion while observing it till she was sure it was safe when she went towards the entrance of the mansion she tried to open the doors while expecting it to be locked but was surprised to see it open easily she went inside and saw that it was empty without any furniture in sight. as she walked further inside she reached a large room with a large seat in the center and she saw a person sitting on it.
she was surprised and hid by the door and just peeking inside the room. she calmed down knowing she was not noticed by the person inside. she observe the person and noticed it was a man and he seemed to be doing something inside. she focused carefully and noticed that it was actually Chris that was sitting inside. she breathed a huge sigh as she was relieved that it was someone she knows. she knocked on the door to get his attention and as expected he was now looking at her, she went towards him and asked about the situation.
