Opening the portal

"King Luke Glendower from the elf race has come"

"Queen Sirene Myryn from the dryad race has come"

"King Thomas and Prince Lucius Crow from the lycan race have come"

Every royalty from the races that chose to live in a separate world came to the vampire kingdom to talk about the portal.

Opening the portal means that danger could come so they have to discuss things.

"We, the elf race, know that you are worried sick for your daughter but she is also a witch, she can fend for herself, and it was her decision to go to those disgusting humans world, so why must we be put in danger just because of a mischievous little girl?" The elf King was against the opening of the portal.

"I agree with Luke, we were put in danger the day your daughter opened the portal without our knowledge, and now you want to open it again? Humans destroy everything, We, the dryads, will be the first ones to die if they have the opportunity to come" The dryad Queen hated humans.

"We must find the princess, she is the only one that can give support to the portal in the future, she can't be left in the human world" The lycan King said.

"I agree with my father, when the princess ascends she will be strong, we can't let humans took control of her, it will damage us instead. So it's better to risk a little now than to lose everything in the future" Lucius chimed.

"Being like this, escaping from home, do you think she will be a good support for the portal or for us? She has demonstrated to be a wilful little girl that knows nothing about life" the elf King said.

"I know all of you are angry because of what my daughter did, but, I didn't ask you to come for you to give your permission to open the portal. I am the actual guardian of the portal and I have the key to open it, so it's MY decision to open it or not, and I have decided to open it to look for my daughter. I only wanted you to know what I will do" King Moon said coldly.

The elf King and the dryad Queen were angry, they felt like they were treated as mere commoners, and the most hateful thing is that the always enemies, the lycans and the vampires, are now in the same front, how can they compete with the two most powerful races?.

"I will go to look for my daughter, I only want you to be on alert to take care of your own territory" King Moon said.

"King Moon, you can't go, you may be a wizard but you are already a vampire, you don't look as a human, you will be found out and put you, your daughter and our world in danger... I'll go" the lycan King said.

Lucius was astonished, he knows his father doesn't care about Elizabeth's power nor about her well-being, so, why does he want to go?

"Father, you can't go, you are a King... No one from the elf race can go, they are too different from humans, the same are the dryads... Only us, lycans, can go because we look like humans, so I'll go... I have been near Elizabeth so I know her smell, something that non of our guards know" Lucius proposed.

"My daughter won't come with you... She escaped from home because she didn't want to marry you in the first place" Queen Moon said.

"It's better than send any vampire, the human blood may tempt them and that may lead to the discovery of our world... I will talk to her, so don't worry, she'll come with me" 'Even if I have to force her'

"We will break the engagement" the lycan King said "That's the only way she will return without much resistance, and if she wants her lover then Lucius will have to force that man to come here and he will be the vampire's responsibility"

"Father!" Lucius didn't agree to break the engagement.

"This is the only way Lucius, you know it, so shut up!"

King and Queen Moon looked at each other, they don't want Lucius to go look for their daughter but it's true that any vampire will be discover easily.

"Then... It's settled... Lucius will go to search for Elizabeth" King Moon sighed.

"Good! But, I know her smell but it has been a long time since she escaped, I can't follow her with just her smell" Lucius said.

King Moon talked a bit to Carmine, Elizabeth's nana, "Bring the instrument I gave you before"

"Yes, My King"

Carmine went to her room to fetch a little instrument that looked like a compass, this was something King Moon gave to her after losing track of Elizabeth countless times when she was a kid.

Carmine came back to the meeting hall and gave the instrument to King Moon, who later gave it to Lucius.

"This is a locator, it has Elizabeth's blood, so it will show you the way she took... Please use it and bring my daughter back, but I hope you bring her safe and sound, without a single scratch... Also, bring this mirror and give it to Elizabeth, we will talk to her through this" King Moon gave Lucius a series of magical things to help him find Elizabeth.

"Don't worry King Moon, she will come back" Lucius said.

"Then tomorrow morning I will open the gate, please bring everything you think you will need"
