chapter 2-the nurses office
In front of the school gates

Kelly arrives at school soaking wet with her jacket draped over her shoulder, Kelly hears whispers coming from behind her as she walks through the school doors.

At the nurses office

As Kelly walks into the nurses office she looks over to the bed to see a boy covered in bandages sleeping
"what happened to him?" Kelly thinks
The nurse walks up to kelly.
"hello how may I help you-" the nurse begins to speak but then notices Kelly's wet clothes
"oh dear your soaking wet what happened, I'll get you a change of clothes I'll be right back" the nurse says as she begins to walk off to get Kelly a change of clothes.
A few minutes later the nurse comes back with a change of clothes
"I'm very sorry to ask this of you but I have something to do real quick so if you don't mind after you get changed can you watch over that kid with the bandages over there.
He gonna need help getting those bandages off" the nurse asks Kelly as she's in a rush.
"sure thing but may I ask why he's covered in bandages?" Kelly asks the nurse with a confused look
"since a few days ago gang activity has been rapidly increasing for some reason" the nurse tells Kelly with a concerning look on her face
"have you ever heard of the midnight gang?" the nurse asks Kelly
"well yea, they've been at the top for years now right?" Kelly tells the nurse
"yea well they seem to have moved to this area and there targeting the gang that boy is apart of, it's called sunlight gang they've been in charge of this area for a while now" the nurse says a she grabs her bag and walks towards the door.
"well anyway I'll be going now thx" the nurse walks out the door.
Kelly goes to the bathroom and starts getting changed.
"so the midnight gang has already moved just as planned and from the looks of it, they won't take long to overtake this area" Kelly says to herself as she finishes changing.
Kelly walks out of the bathroom and sits next to the bed the boy in bandages is resting on.
A few minutes later, the boy wakes up
"where am I?" The boy says as he opens his eye and stares at the ceiling
"your in the nurses office"
The boy looks over at Kelly in shock.
"the nurse had something to take care of and asked me to watch over you while waiting for my clothes to dry" Kelly says looking up into the boys eyes
"thx" the boy says as he trys to get up but looks to be in pain and falls back over
the boy watches as Kelly walk over to the cabinet and grabs some pills and fills a glass up with water, then walks back towards him and sets the pills and glass of water on the table.
Kelly reaches out her hand to the boy, "here let me help you up"
the boy reaches his hand out to Kelly and she helps him up. Kelly grabs the pills and glass of water, "here take these, it should help with the pain"
the boy takes the pills and thanks Kelly.
"hold still for a minute" Kelly tells the boy as she starts taking off some of the bandages.
"by the way what's your name I don't think I've seen you around school before?" the boy says as he starts small talk with Kelly while she takes off the bandages on his arm
"my name's Kelly, this is my first day here well atleast it was suppose to be"Kelly says as she finishes taking off the bandage on one of his arms and starts taking the bandage off the other
"what do you mean by, 'it was suppose to be'" the boy asks
"well on my way here some jerk ended up knocking me off the bridge so I came in soaking wet and now I've been in the nurses office all morning watching over you while waiting for my clothes to dry" Kelly explains as she finishes taking off the bandage as she finishes taking the bandage off the boys arm and looks up to the boy and sees a shocked look on his face
"that was you!" the boy screams as he grabs Kelly's shoulder
"I am so so sorry I didn't mean to knock you over, I was in a rush and didn't see where I was going and I would've helped you but I was being chased" the boy says really fast as Kelly's expression turns to shock
"wait so it was you who pushed me off the bridge?!"Kelly says
"I am so sorry I really didn't mean to" the boy says
"well it seems karma has already gotten to you" Kelly says as she starts unwrapping a bandage on the boys leg
"but" Kelly pulls on the bandage making it tight on his leg
"I still wanna get some kind of revenge"
"ow" the boy says as he's in pain looking up at Kelly
"I guess I deserve that" the boy says watching Kelly start unwrapping the bandage again
"my name is Sean by the way" the boy says to Kelly
"nice to meet you Sean" Kelly says looking up at Sean
