Chapter 21

After that dinner everything just started going smoothly. Na'er and Tang Wulin was finnne with each other, it seemed like Na'er has some kind of instinctual feelings. And the two of us are just fine to her. My parents and Tang Wulin's parents seemed to be kind of sad. Well i can understand them though. And to be honest everything was just kind of anticlimactic. As night started to dawn on us my parents were going to leave. The two them then told me bunch of things that i didn't really remember. Giving me advices and so on. While i heard all of them i just couldn't remember it. But in the end it didn't matter. And so the two of them left. And i really didn't feel anything, maybe because i already cried yesterday. Humans are weird. But before they left we had to talk about what to do with Na'er.

"So let's try to find her family tomorrow. Otherwise they might be panicking and searching for her."

Say's Lang Yue.

"But didn't she say she didn't have family?"

I ask her about it.

"Well she only shook her head. So she might not even remember them."

"Or she might not want to go back home"

"Well that might be true too. But we can decide after we atleast search for them."

"Well i guess so."

"Is it just me or does somebody not want her gone?"

Hao Chen's mom then teases him.

"Well i guess so."

And then Tang Ziran comes into the conversation.

"Well how about this. Let's all go out tomorrow with each other. First i will drop Wulin at his academy. Second i will have to drop you at branch of Spirit Padoga."

He points at Hao Chen.

"As you have to meet with them. But i would be late to take you back home, as i have work to do. I have managed to get a day out yesterday because Wulin was getting his spirit unlocked. So i wouldn't be able to be free tomorrow. So that means either you have to wait for me at Spirit Padoga. Or you have to come back alone.

"Well i am fine coming back alone tomorrow. After all i will get my spirit ring tomorrow so i will be lot safe."

"Very well. But if you change your mind then just call me from there and i will take you home. Don't be embarrassed to say so."

He says as if to tease him or to reassure him. Either way it worked.

"And lastly you have to get Na'er to administration office to inquire about her identity. After that is over the two of you should just come back home and we will decide what to do with her."

With that it was decided. After that talk Long kun'er and Yue Ling left. But none of them cried. Because crying now will only make it harder for them to leave. But atleast there were few positive things. Since the society itself has became this advanced they could just contact each other.

As the night fell a new problem arise. Since the house only had the room Hao Chen, Wuling and Na'er had to sleep in the same room. While it would be okay since they are so young it still felt weird to Tang Ziran. After all yesterday there was only one kid in the house. But now there might be three of them staying at the same room in the future. But hey atleast Wulin is getting friends.

But before they slept they ate food that was prepared for Tang Ziran. It seemed like three of them was still hungry even after the dinner.

"I am in the middle"

Says Hao Chen jumping toward the middle of the room. So Na'er and Wulin had to get into his sides. That is right he wouldn't allow Wulin to sleep next to Na'er. He decided that he would be barrier between them. As a righteous man he will protect them from the evilness off this world.

As they turn off the light silence dawn on them. After long silence Na'er says to Hao Chen.

"Are you okay brother?" Hearing that Hao Chen almost had a heart attack. He was not prepared for the cuteness that Na'er was.

"Huh brother?"

"Yes. You are older than me after all. So i though i will call you that. Do you not like it?"

"No it isn't that i didn't like it. I just wasn't prepared for that after everything."

"You mean your parents leaving?"

"Yes i just had too much though's in my head i guess."

After a little bit of silence Hao Chen decided to lighten the mood by saying

"Well i should have been the one to suggest that."

"It is okay to cry you know?" When Na'er said that Hao Chen once again wasn't prepared from what she said. He purposefully tried to get the conversation from going this way.

"This isn't about whether or not i will cry."

"Really then are you lonely?"

Once again she has shocked Hao Chen with her ability to read him. He was lonely. Even in his previous life he was lonely. But he managed to learn how to avoid feeling loneliness. That is how he managed to not feel alone for the past 6 years. After all he really didn't have others to talk to. Well except his parents. And now they have just left him. Maybe that is why he wasn't really feeling anything. And now when Na'er told him about it he is feeling it all come to him. He was lonely. And that is why he came here. Because if he had decided to reincarnate anywhere other than here, that he know what is going to happen then he will feel he is outside of the world. Knowing everything he wouldn't be able to join others. Because if he do he would have to tell them about the situation. And the future will change because of it. And when circumstances change he would be afraid of it. What changed why did it change. Will everything be alright? Such questions will fill his head and he wouldn't be able to live calmly. He will lose the ability to not feel his emotions. But ironically he was feeling his emotions now. Even after trying to escape from it.

Without even realizing he once again had gone quiet. But seeing him like this Na'er hugged him.

"It is okay everything is fine"

But when he heard this he almost laughed. He an adult has reincarnated was being comforted by a child. He could only imagine the irony.

"No i am fine now thank you."

"For what?"

"Nothing just thank you"

As he said that he started petting her head. Na'er didn't really understand what he meant but she was fine being like this. But then she heard noice from behind him. It was Wulin. And he had heard everything. As much as he was jealous of Hao Chen he understood him just a little bit more. But that is when they heard him

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! SLEEP"

They immediately stopped moving and gone quiet. But it didn't take long for them to sleep. Especially Hao Chen. He was able to sleep just fine. Previously many though's were haunting his head. But now he was fine. After all everything was just starting. And tomorrow will be important day he needs good sleep.

As the sunshine's through the window Hao Chen woke up. But then he felt something in his arms. Hao Chen kept his words and stayed as a barrier without moving. But the same couldn't be said about the other two.
