Is this the apartment for me?

The two girls walk out of the hotel and called a taxi over just then Abby looked at Rebecca catching her side profile and thinking out loud she said "wow you kind of look like someone but I can't think of who, I sure I've seen you in a magazine before." just then as Rebecca sat in the taxi she quickly turned with a small bit of shock on her face she burst out saying "what did you say, I'm sorry what?" Abby realizing she spoke out loud shyly turned and mumbled "I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that out loud."

Rebecca took a quick breath in and thought she has to play off the shock or it's going to look suspicious, she looked out the window and then back at Abby "oh it's OK but thanks, so you think I look like someone famous that's cool I hope she is pretty." Abby looked at her and thought something was a little off, but let it go. The taxi driver was still waiting for a destination and coughed twice before saying" so where to lady's."

the two sat silently in the car for a few seconds and then Abby said" head to 22nd and 3rd please" the taxi driver turned and started heading West humming a tune with the radio that sounded familiar to both girls.

After about 12 blocks the taxi came to a halt the taxi driver turned and said "that will be $26" Rebecca turned about to grab her wallet as she got it out she saw Abby was already paying. Rebecca quickly said "no I got this you are doing me a favor I can't let you pay for the taxi." Abby quickly responded "no it's ok I'm not really doing you a favour I'm actually kind of getting you to do me a favor."

they both jumped out of the taxi and started walking towards the end of 3rd Street. Abby looked up at her and said "the reason Sarah came to fetch me wasn't to help you but it was that she was actually helping me, she knows I'm looking for a roommate"

When they reached the corner Abby looked up at Rebecca worrying about what she was going to say she quickly added "you don't have too?"

Rebecca was a little happy at the thought of living with someone but then she remembered that all her stuff will have her name on it. She shock the panic away and said calmly "that's OK, it's actually a good thing. I'll never lived with anyone before and you know a lot about this area so that could also be a good thing."

Abby turned to the blue keypad on the wall and typed in her code 80442 and the door buzzed, she pushed the door open and went in followed closely by Rebecca. As they got in the door a large pure black Doberman started to bark at Rebecca, she got such a fright that she jump back in to the door and hitting someone behind her.

She quickly tryed to move herself off the person behind her on the floor but just ended up falling again on the person, but now she could see that the person she was on top of was a really really hansome man.

He was tall with a action movie physique (meaning muscels in all the right places but not bulky) she noticed his pretty blue eyes and smiled as she moved off of him. He smiled back and got up so elegantly and then offered his hand to help her up, with one look she was blushing as she put her hand in his.

The 2 stood at the door and smiled nit saying a word, mean while back in the building Abby was standing really still not knowing what to do or if Tracy was OK. Just as Abby got a little bit of courage to ask if Tracy was ok she yelled "Tracy are you..." the door swang open and Rebecca walked very slowly in through the door, as she stepped in she saw the Doberman and froze.

The tall man almost bumped into her but just just stopped behind her and kindly asked "are you OK?" she didn't move but tryed to say something but all that came out was "ahhh ahhh ummm I...l...l... I don't know."

Abby turned on her side still facing the dog she saw who Rebecca was talking to but didn't know who he was, she then said " excuse me sir do you know who's dog this is?" the man looked past Rebecca and saw the dog and quickly shouted in a low voice" Max sit" the dog immediately sat down and dropped his head. Rebecca moved from the door as the man walked in to the dog grabbing the dog's collar and apologizing over and over "I'm very sorry, I'm truly sorry for this he is normally so well behaved I hope he didn't scare you to bad. Im James I just moved in to 14D nice to meet you sorry again about Max."

Rebecca gave him a nervous smile, Abby turned to Rebecca and then back to James and introduced them" hello nice to meet you too I'm Abby and live in 13D and this is Tracy she might also be moving in today."

Abby started for the stairs and quickly added" well it was interesting meeting you but we have to go I still have some work to do, goodbye and good luck with the move." Rebecca smiled and then waved at James as she followed Abby up the stairs.

As they got to the 4th floor Abby leaned in to Rebecca and asked "so you think his cute?"

Rebecca just blushed with a cute little smile.
