Chapter 3

Luna and I enter the lavishing castle and head straight to the throne room where our father awaits us.

"Ah, Chara! Luna! My two precious daughters! How wonderful of you to visit your dear old dad." Satan says, in that silky voice of his that entraps all humans to practically fall to their knees when they hear him speak. 

"Hey dad." I say smiling, I remove the leashes from Cerberus and Vivulous, letting them free to roam the castle.

"Hi dad!" Luna says happily, running over to hug our father enthusiastically.

Satan laughs and beckons me over. I, too, give him a hug, as he smiles proudly. Satan ruffles my hair and pulls me and Luna onto his lap as if we were nothing but his little girls again.

I laugh and teasingly say, "We aren't little kids anymore dad!" Luna laughs too as she knows that no matter how old we get, we will always be little kids to Satan.

"You will always by my little girls, you of all people, my black jewel, should know that better than anyone." Satan said, ruffling my hair yet again. 

I giggle and hug Satan again, "Cerberus and Vivulous told me that you were worried about me, why?" I asked. 

"I was worried about how you would react to being reborn as a Demon-Angel, but you appear to be okay for now." Satan says.

I look over at Luna, she's been strangely silent ever since we left the house except to talk to Lucifer. I thought to myself, wondering why she was keeping quiet.

"So how is everything going here Father?" Luna asks looking to Satan. 

"Everything is going great, thanks for asking my precious little jewel." Satan answers, smiling kindly. 

"I'm glad. How are you and brother Luci doing? Have you done anything fun lately??" Luna asks, smiling.

"Well… Let's see… Hm… We've been so busy with our work that we haven't had time to do anything fun. I am, however, doing well. As for your brother, I've no idea, you should ask him yourself." Satan answers. I just listen, staying silent.

"Oh, well that's okay. I'm glad you're doing well. I've been doing well too, but I don't like our new family right now. Liam is being so mean and Lindy is so rude, she didn't believe Chara when she told her that we were your children. It made me so mad that she didn't believe her. I had to back her up and now she's avoiding us and I don't know what to do, it's been eating up at me." Luna says, worried.

Satan looks at me and I sigh. "Yes I told Liam and Lindy but I didn't tell Louis or Linda, I swear!" I tell him.

"Don't be mad at her Dad! I was just spouting my troubles." Luna says.

"As long as she didn't tell any humans, it should be okay." Satan says. I stay silent as I remember that Angelica was there when I told both Liam and Lindy, but decided to say nothing about it.

"She didn't father." Luna said while looking at me with a blue fire in her eyes, making me shiver slightly.

I fiddle with my glove, silently listening to everything going on around me. Chara? Is everything okay? Asks my kamui, Akuma. 

"Everything is fine Akuma." I whisper, making sure neither Satan nor Luna heard me.

Are you sure? I am here if you ever need me. Akuma says and I smile slightly.

"Who are you talking to Chara?" Luna says, puzzled. 

"N-no one!" I stutter, surprised that she was able to hear me. I don't bother to answer Akuma's question due to the fact that Luna is too close and apparently has great hearing.

Chara? Are you alright? Akuma asks, he can continue to talk since only I can hear him due to the fact that Akuma and I are bonded through my blood. Again, I don't answer due to the fact that Luna will hear me.

"I swear I heard you say something. Who is Akuma?" Luna says staring daggers at me.

Satan looks at me and then at Luna, sensing the tension between us. 

"Who Akuma is does not matter, little sister." I say, narrowing my blood red eyes.

"I was just wondering. Don't get all mad at me for asking about something I didn't know about." Luna says shying away.

I scoff and look away, watching Vivulous and Cerberus play with Luna's hellbound dragon.

"Ryuutatsu is very playful today." Luna laughs watching them tumble around.

"Yes, she is." Satan observes. I however, stay silent, wishing that I came to see father alone. 

"She's a female approximately one million nine hundred thousand nine hundred and ninety nine years old. She told me Hellbound dragons can live forever surprisingly." Luna says smiling.

I climb out of Satan's lap and walk to Lucifer's room, knocking on the door.

"Come in." Lucifer answers. I open the door to his room when he says, "Chara, I knew it was you."

I laugh, I'm the only one in the family that actually respects privacy and knocks on doors when they're closed before entering. "Of course you knew, I'm the only one who knocks in this damn household." I say, smiling.

Lucifer laughs, "Yeah." He says, smiling, inviting me inside his room.

I entered his room, it's blue and gray. The walls are a blue-gray color, the carpet is blue and his curtains are gray, the sheets on his bed are blue and gray. "So much blue little bro, ever thought of changing it to red?" I say.

Lucifer chuckles and answers, "No, red is more your color. Besides, I prefer blue."

"And gray." I add with a roll of my eyes. Lucifer and I hung out for a half an hour before Luna and I left, taking Ryuutatsu, Vivulous, and Cerberus with us.

"Why didn't you tell dad that I told Angelica about what we are?" I ask Luna as we walk home.

"Because I didn't want him to be mad. I figured you would be mad too." Luna says

"I wouldn't have been mad, I would've been upset. You know how much I hate being yelled at." I respond, petting Vivulous. Vivulous wags her tail.

"Yeah, that's why I didn't say anything." Luna tells me.

We reach our home and I open the door, letting the two canines and the dragon in first. Luna enters next and then I follow, closing the door behind me.

Liam is standing in the foyer when Luna and I walk in. "Where have you two been?" He asked, it appears he was just about to leave to possibly look for us.

"We went out, is that a problem? We don't have to tell you everywhere we go." Luna says, clearly angry.

"No, it's not a problem, I was just worried about you two." Liam says. He then heads back upstairs to his room.

I, as always, stay silent, not bothering to even comment on what just happened.

"Sorry I didn't want him to freak out about us going to see father." Luna says apologetically.

I smile, my eyes are, shockingly, currently sapphire blue. "It's fine, besides I don't think he would freak out, he looked genuinely worried about us." I say.

"True, it did seem that way." Luna says looking into the hallway where Liam left. I rub my forehead as I suddenly have a headache.

"Chara are you okay?" Luna asks, worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lie, smiling a fake smile as if everything is a-okay.

"No you're not. You know I can detect lies, Chara. Why are you lying to me of all people?" Luna asks, even more worried.

My eyes flash black for a split second. "I said I'm fine, so I'm fine. Deal with it." I snap, ignoring the pain building up in my skull.

"Come here." Luna says as she walks up to me to put her hand on my forehead. Her hand glows white with the power of her angel side. All of a sudden the pain stopped.

I hiss a sigh of relief but then my ever present memories of my previous lives flood my brain, forcing me into a flashback.
