Chapter 32: Monster Siege

[Ruric Town]

After Shun reported everything that he learned and also about the frost elf's capability in leading their army into a real strategy war, the whole camp breaks loose as everyone started to prepare for the worst scenario

Inside the meeting tent where discussions were being made, the three people who seemed to observe the higher ups bickering seemed rather oppressed from the tense pressure

"I feel like I'm watching my parents bicker against each other" complained Shun

"You know what? Your right... . . By the way, how's your injury?" Asked Leah in concern

"Injury? Don't worry about a thing... . . As long as I got this potion, I'm unstoppable!!!" Said shun as he shows off his health potion

With that as if triggering her merchants bloodline, Leah actually leaned closer as her eyes sparkled while trying too reach out for the potion

Unfortunately Shun was holding her back by pushing her face away

"Please let me hold it!!!" Begged Leah

"No can do Missy, this potion is for personal use" replied Shun

"But..." Pouted Leah as she looks at him in puppy eyes manner

Seemingly unnaffected by it's cute charm Shun shook his head as he held his hand on his head in a imposing manner

"Sorry, but this potion is out of reach for someone like you... . . In case you don't know this potion is like a treasure of mine that can't be given off to someone that easily"

As he said that Millia cuts in as she begged in her little sister cute form

"Umu big brother Shun, can I touch it? I won't drop it... . . I pwomise"

Hearing the mumbled words at the end that triggered Shun's little otaku heart that was being dormant inside him, he instinctually held out the potion like and adoring big brother

"Dearest sister please can you repeat your last words in order to make me feel.like I'm in heaven... . . In exchange I will hand out to you this potion for free" he replied

"Really?... . . Then thank you bwig bwother, can I have it pwease? Bwig bwother?" Said Millia in a cute adoring little sister mode

Being adorned by a little girl caused the little otaku heart of Shun to instinctually tried to spoil it's sibling, the reason why he was so pressed on such issue was because he was an only child so this kind of connection felt brand new too him

Unfortunately both Leah and Yuumi that was on her shoulder felt a little disdain and disgust from Shun's pondering

"I see... . . A treasure... . . Wow... . . So much for a treasure" pouted Leah

"Wa... . . ?" Reacted Shun

"Hahahaha!" He laughed it aside

Seeing him flustered Yuumi interjected in and commented

"Disgusting... . . Yuck! Lolicon! Sister complex! Despicable only child! Little sister syndrome! FBI should raid your house! Die for being shameless!"

After line and lines of insult Shun finally snapped on Yuumi as he growled

"Who are you calling a lolicon?"

"You dare?"

"Yes I do"

With that both of them begun their cat and mouse chasing spree as they passed through different objects that served as an obstacle

Seeing this everyone that knew of him, laughed at the comical act of the summoner and his summon

Having a hearty laugh actually alleviate the sour mood of everyone that eased the tension

Upon seeing the easing up tension, both Leah and Millia were astounded and even wondered if by chance Shun somehow planned this to alleviate the stress

Few hours has passed when suddenly a soldier that was on top of one of the observation tower shouted

"Enemy!!! Enemy ahead!!!"

As if it was the trigger, the higher-ups begun to ran up to the wall as they gazed upon the multitudes of the monster army right inside the forest opposite of them

"So many!" Said the Guild master

"Many? The question is can we even hold off this kind of numbers?" Asks Viscount Zack

In Reply to that the captain of the soldiers shook his head as he replied

"We're gonna need a miracle for this kind of attack"

Consequently Shun, Leah, and Millia came up to the wall and observed the situation outside

The numbers of the enemy was really overwhelming that caused Leah to feel the dread of despair looming into the air

Following that Alex, Misha, and Lana called out to Shun I. Their worried voice as if they're trying to say their last words in hopes that something bad may happen

"Everyone... . . Even though it's been short that I have spent with you, let me tell you I'm proud to be an adventurer of Ruric Town" declared Alex as tears started to swell up from the edge of his eyes

"Everyone... . . I... . . Don't want anyone of you to die" said Misha in a shaky voice as she tears up

"Don't worry I'll do my best to survive" said Lana with a worried expression

"Umu I'll try my best to help out" encouraged Leah

"Let's survive everyone!!!" Cheered Millia

For some reason because of this crisis everyone that Shun been find off, have actually deepened their bonds through this as they act as if they're actually True friends from the very beginning

Noticing Shun's back facing them, Alex called out to him

"Big brother Shun? Anything you would like to say?" Asked Alex in a somber expression

But instead the sound of worry and grief coming out of Shun's mouth, the former actually sounded a bit excited as he said

"No need for any death flags"

Starting from Alex everyone of them have off various reactions from Shun's words

"Big brother?" Called out Misha

However the reply they got was both Shun and Yuumi who transferred to his shoulders were actually laughing and smiling so wide that it reached their cheeks from one side to another

"Hehehehehe hehehe!!!!"

The reason for this because of the system's intrusion that brightens up shun, after all it's been days since he last saw this nostalgic game panel

As he muttered this he shot up from his daze and glared the incoming monsters as exp for his levels

"So much exp" he muttered

"Abundant exp" added Yuumi

"Hehehehehe" laughed the both of them

Because of the adrupt appearance of the army of monsters, the soldiers and close ranged adventurers gathered up I front of the wall, while the archers, mage and other long ranged unit were standing up at the wall

Consequently Yuumi is together with Misha up In the wall, while Alex was beside Shun who somehow equipped Botrk in his right hand and a dagger on his left

Unbeknownst to Shun everyone that was near hi were stepping back as he unconsciously leak out a crazed laugh

"Exp! So much exp! Come to Papa!"

Noticing that the monster army was about to charge, Alex immediately build up some courage and snapped Shun out of his daze

"Um... . . Big brother Shun!"

"?"

"Would you like to be the one who will cry out a war cry to raise the our sides morale?" Asks Alex in hopes for Shun to accept

Upon hearing that, Shun looked up to Viscount Zack and the others only to receive their approval as he was the one who did the most of this job to protect the town

"Everyone! I will announce that Shun will be our leader and he will lead us up to victory! So let's cheer him on!" Announced Viscount Zack

In reply to that the whole town erupted in cheers as they chanted his name while some chanted his alias

"Gamer! Gamer! Gamer! Gamer!"

"Shun! Shun! Shun! Shun! Shun!"

Being in the limelight made Shun a bit embarrassed by all of this as he gazed at his companions while seeing the people that were close to him giving him a wry smile while joining the chant

Closing his eyes to make a decision, he finally made a war cry that he thought would etched in the history books of this world

Finally finishing his decision, Shun punched the air up high by raising his hand Into a fist that was holding Botrk up

With this another loud cheer erupted from the town as they showed their vigor and determination to defend the town

"Ooohhh!!!!"

"Wahhhh!!!"

"Let's kill them!!!"

As if that's was trigger the frost elf that served as the leader of the monster siege ordered it's troops to charged forth

With the roads of the monsters, the whole towns tension turned into grim as they watched the waves of.monster approaching the town's walls

Without further ado Shun brought out the book and summoned all of his champions available

"Summon! Garen! Shyvana! Reksai! Rengar!"

"My heart and soul always for Demacia"

"I'll show them what a true dragon can do"

Screeeeeeeeeechhhhhh!!!!!!

"Who's my prey?"

Seeing that shun and the incoming waves of monsters he proudly raised his hands as if to start to charge

"ADVENTURERS... ASSEMBLE!!!"

Leading the charge shun bolted out from the ground and dashed towards the enemy with his summoned champions trailing off behind him

Leaving aside the confusing war cry all the adventurers and soldiers charged up towards the enemy army with the intent to protect the town

Following that series of cries rises up

"Charge!!!"

"Let's go!!!"

"Protect the town!!!"

"Kill them!!!"

As they ran up series of.destructive spells passed above them and hits the enemy's wave giving leeway to the frontliners to penetrate their army

Starting off the battle, Shyvana activated her ability causing flames to gather around her

"Burn out!!!"

Following that she dived straight to the army as she transformed

"Dragon's Descent"

As she stumbles and transform into a dragon that started the war, numerous events happened as both sides aim to eliminate each other
