Chapter 53: First Dungeon Boss

[Crowded Dungeon]

As both Shun and Sephiria waved goodbye's at Leah, they started to head straight towards the Dungeon's first floor right after they pick up some equipment for Sephiria herself and a little bit of potty break

When they finished all that they needed Sephiria herself was now wearing a leather armor, high boots, safeguard items (she literally picked the pretty looking ones), and a mage's robe and staff

With that Shun added they're numbers by summoning both Yasuo and Garen out to become both a tank and a damage dealer of the team

The reason was that Shun will be the one who will be responsible for her safety, at the same time they were planning to make Sephiria have as much experience on combating monsters

As per say due to the to an overpowered tank and a Cancer they easily wiped the first floor

The first floor was filled with kobolds along the way to the tenth floor, due to it's near the surface area and the Dungeon's population, it is only natural that they were numerous players around the near surface floor so it's difficulty is what you would call easy level

For some reason even Shun himself felt bad for the kobolds as they were seen being ganged up by waves after waves of newbie Adventurer groups

He even saw one kobold being drowned into the sea of Adventurers as it begged Shun himself to save it

Well since he doesn't know kobold language, Shun instead waved a goodbye towards the kobolds that were being crowded up by Adventurers, he literally even played coffin dance in memories of them

All the way to the tenth floor the kobolds could only be described as scarce, not until the first dungeon boss who literally stopped this waves of Adventurers with it's high intelligence stats

Due to it's attack maneuvering and unpredictable movements, the first Dungeon boss completely overwhelmed the Adventurers who merely rely on numbers to win fights

One had to say that the boss literally destroyed a party of 100 Adventurers all by itself

Luckily the Adventurers Guild has an artifact that will bring any Adventurers back to the surface safe and sound whenever they died in the dungeon, with this 100% safety net Man Adventurers dare to dive straight I to the dungeon

Since the first boss is quite skilled, one could say that only skilled Adventurers that managed to defeat it would pass and continue towards the other floors

The dungeon itself by the way was renowned not only by its population and 100% safety net, it is in fact renowned more as one of the Dungeon's in the world that consist of one hundred floors

With that in mind a lot of them wanted to actually clear the Dungeon, but the difficulty of the dungeon increases every floor, so with that no one actually succeeded in doing it

As per the group itself after Sephiria fired off series of water blast and fire javelin straight into the huge kobold, Yasuo himself immediately cuts in as he dashed forward and sliced off its head with a dash

"Sweeping Blade!!!"

After that he started to accumulate wind force in his body as he threw it directly at the other two kobolds behind him

"Hasagi!!! Last breath!!! Kirigaton!!!"

After knocking up two kobolds, Yasuo immediately activated his ultimate as he made a dash and swept them up while attacking them in all sides before slamming them to the ground

After that blood splattered everywhere as Yasuo sheathes his blade while saying

"Death is like the wind, always by my side"

After hearing that Shun, Sephiria and Garen were dumbstruck as how much Yasuo became a showoff after fighting the kobolds

"What the heck? I thought I told you guys to let Sephiria become the star of this team? Then why is he showing off?" Complained Garen

"I... . . I literally don't know" pouted Garen

"I feel pressured" reacted Sephiria

"Now great! She feel pressured from seeing that in real life!!! Happy now?!?!" Exclaimed Shun

As they complained that the first ten floors were quite easy that it only needed both Sephiria and Yasuo to attack monsters leaving both Shun and Garen to feel completely useless

When they arrived before the first Dungeon boss door, they were quite surprised by just how dense the population of the area as they literally saw over fifty Adventurers waiting outside the door while waiting for the Adventurers inside to finish everything off

Since that was the case Shun instead took this time to recap everything

"All right first dungeon boss, we literally know nothing of it... . . Yuumi! Spy next to the Adventurers here and gather Intel" commanded Shun

As if recognizing his command a cat suddenly appeared out of the book as it laugh dryly and saluted in Roger mode

"Hehehe! So you knew I was listening" said Yuumi

"Of course! When you said that you don't want to participate in this dungeon since it stinks, you could instead help by gathering information right?" Asked Shun in a creepy smile

"Er... . . Fine! I'll do it" stated Yuumi as she flew off somewhere

After a while Yuumi came back as she retold the rumors of the first dungeon boss towards them

After hearing it's intelligence and tactics of the boss, Shun literally opened up the system as he quickly upgraded his stats to atleast eased up the pressure from encountering it

Then after that he once again checked it as he felt satisfied

After that he looked at the time and saw that it was almost evening, in a sense both of them did have stayed inside the dungeon for quite a while

"Alright! After this we will call it a day since it's almost night time, plus we have atleast a week to finish everything up as far as we could in this experience training for Sephiria so we better give our hundred percent" stated Shun

As he said that he turned towards Sephiria as he asked

"So Sephiria! Since you have atleast three elements already fire, water, and ice in you disposal, how about let's try you making it more grande or eye catching by forming performance and power wise spells"

Hearing that Sephiria asked

"What do you mean? Are you saying that I should create new spells?"

"Well yeah!" Answered Shun

"But I... . ."

But when Sephiria was about to complain, Shun immediately raises his finger as he points out the price when she did so

"How about new anime? Let's say... . . Naruto Shippuden?"

"Deal!"

The moment Sephiria heard that she immediately agreed as she was literally expecting the anime for quite awhile after hearing Shun praise it a lot and seeing him shouting something out of thin air

Shun: Ameterasu! Mangekyo Sharingan! Bunshin! Rasengan! Shinra tensei!)

After remembering that she couldn't help but chuckle in delight

As for the person who was oblivious of her thoughts, he literally thought that she was laughing something in her head, in the end he shrugged it off as he commented

"That's the way to go Sephy!"

After that they waited for an hour until they decided to take on the boss themselves

As they entered they could clearly feel the eyes of other Adventurers looking towards them from the back as they entered the boss room

But afterwards this gazes were suppressed as the door closes up

In the middle of the pillar ritual room, they could see a huge chieftain kobold with an height of two stories buildings while picking up its huge bloodied sword thats quite intimidating

"Hah! Stained blade! Get it? Huh Yasuo? Get it? He literally copied you" teased Garen the moment he saw the bloody huge sword

"Such a copy cat" said Yasuo as he grabbed the hilt of his sword

As for Shun he took out is stormrazor and signaled Sephiria to start the match

With a quick scope understanding Sephiria spread out her hand as she changed and summoned out numerous water sphere's above her head, after that she turned them into an assault water shot towards the chieftain kobold and started up the fight

As the initial attack exploded the chieftain kobold quickly roared out to disperse the smoke as it ran up towards the group

As if expecting that Garen quickly intercepted it by ramming his body against it and activating his defensive skill to hold his ground

"Courage!"

When the shockwaves of the attack concluded Garen quickly smiled as he pulled down the great sword and head butted the huge chieftain kobold

Due to that the chieftain kobold literally took a few steps back as it roared angrily, being provoked angrily it opened up its mouth as it spewed out an energy blast towards them

Seeing this Yasuo immediately came in as he blocked the attack

"Wind wall! Face the wind!"

Taking this opportunity Sephiria quickly rained down both five fire javelin and five water Spears towards it causing series of explosion to rung out

Being blasted away the chieftain kobold angrily stood up as it uses it's huge sword to cut down a pillar and threw it towards the Frontline

"Watch out!!!" Warned Garen as he dived the the side

As the pillar exploded into tiny pieces, it's debris however created a chain effect that literally obstruct their view of the enemy

Taking this chance the chieftain kobold swished past Yasuo and Garen as it held Sephiria to be the most annoying of all, thus it decided to kill off the backline first

As it arrived it quickly hacks down it's huge sword only to be met by a cheeky smile from her

Sephiria didn't even flinch when she realized that she was the boss target, she instead revealed a cheeky smile of a happy girl as she knows that someone would actually protect her from the boss attack

Just as she expected Shun immediately swept in and blocked the huge sword with his thin stormrazor

As he successfully blocked it, he in turn used Abit force as he pushed the chieftain kobold away and attacked it ten times in a single breath

After dealing damage he further did that he puffed up his cheeks as he breaths out flame from it just like a certain dragon Slayer from the anime that Sephiria was watching

"Flame breath!"

Instantly the flames enveloped the chieftain kobold causing it to crash Against the wall

Seeing that Sephiria was happily watching it as her eyes glimmer as if seeing an anime character come to life

Nevertheless she still stayed focused as she quickly casted in and sprayed another streams of spell

"Take this literally out of the box! Water serpent!!!"

As she said that a huge water serpent was suddenly conjured beside her which even towered above the boss itself

As it hissed and opened its fangs, it suddenly dragged the boss around the room, crashing it against the pillar before screeching it against the floor, afterwards it literally shot it off towards the ceiling

Seeing this Shun was left in shock as his mouth gaped open

"Teehee! Well it's an out of the box magic, how about it" said Sephiria in a cute manner

"Whoa! Wicked cool" reacted Shun

After that he literally have her a shoulder hugged as he said

"I knew it! I knew you could do it!"

As if understanding that differently she instead started to pout

"Why do I feel like you were not expecting me to succeed?"

"Huh? No way! That was awesome!"

"Right... . . "

"Don't believe me? Then I won't buy you dinner"

"What? I didn't doubt you, I'm literally enlightened by your praise"

As they were conversing, it was quite apparent that the boss didn't expect such high level spell at all

In the end the boss was left unconcious I'm the ceiling as it showed it's white eyes and gaped mouth

When it fell Yasuo immediately took this chance as it finishes it off

"Last breath! Kirigaton!!!"

With an huge slamming explosion the boss I'm the end died by the sword of Yasuo

After seeing that they took a part of it to confirm their subjugation and headed straight towards the other door on the other side of the room

With a push from both Garen and Yasuo, they were instantly teleported out of the room and unto the next floor

The moment they arrived at the starting checkpoint in the eleventh floor, they were flabbergasted to learn that there is actually a town inside the dungeon and as bustling as the the surface market

But from the numbers of the Adventurers they concluded that there were only quite a few of them inside

What surprised them even more was that they actually sold some of their spoils at a high price this making them slightly rich for the night to be able to afford atleast two bedrooms

In the end Sephiria took one room while Shun took the other

As they were done cozing it up they instead took a breather as they headed straight together towards the food section this ending their day inside the dungeon a merry one

In literal sense Shun by the way returned both Yasuo and Garen back to the book as they were quite exhausted during their travel
