Chapter 60: Going To Gritonnia Academy

Volume 3 Academy

Per arrangements by the Duke and his wife, Shun was somehow has been admitted to be one of the students who will take a specialized way to enter the academy in the middle of the school year

One particular reason for this was because of Sephiria's predicament, since Shun was the only best friend she ever had and in case she was separated from him, them it wasn't a fact that no matter how she improve she will still have a hard time forming friends among the people who have already groups and the people who once made fun of her being a defective mage student

With that though in mind and in order for their daughter to atleast enjoy her school year, the Duke and his wife immediately pulled some strings from all their connection to make an exception for Shun to enter

One part of this was because the academy is actually a school for nobles which students would of course brag about their heiarchy of status quo, while the other was that the academy started to allow commoners to enroll into the school which in turn raise their popularity on the eyes of the masses

In order for Shun to atleast have an easy way to enjoy the school years, the Duke admitted him a commoner through a commoner test but if passed a certain result, he in turn would advance to being a noble inclined student to cover up his identity and avoid being maltreated by other arrogant noble kids

With those laid out, Shun was now together with Sephiria as both of them were on their way towards the royal capital where the academy is located at

The travel time that will take for them to get there was approximately about 1week so during those days, instead of teaching Sephiria more on magic, he instead refrained from doing that and focused on improving his own magic

Of course since Sephiria saw how shun was determined on practicing, she actually didn't become a burden to him and allowed him to practice on his own

At most the only tease that she would do was causally taking pictures of him training his magic and his funny reactions when his magic training with his champions always fail

Due to die hard practice he eventually managed to learn numerous skills from his champions followingly

Yasuo- 4 skills

Katarina- 1 skill

Reksai- 1 skill

Kha'zix- 1 skill

Zed- 2 skills

Basically he had putted more effort on learning Yasuo's skills since the champions weapon was almost similar to his Stormrazor

A week after, Shun and Sephiria's carriage finally arrived at the Capital's gate as it really gives off a European vibes because of it's scenery

There were building blocks from left to right, authentic lamp post from his worlds history, some European clothes, a huge castle at the middle of the capital, following it is the other towering structures that served as a huge assets for the kingdom

But the most eye-catching of all aside from the magnificent castle that took over the whole mountain region as the castles territory was the academy itself or better yet Gritonnia Academy, the academy where Sephiria was currently studying and being isolated

But due to Shun's presence her lonely days will finally end

"Hah! I'm such a good person" muttered Shun

"What did you say?" Asked Sephiria

"Huh? What did I say?" Asked Shun

"Exactly!!! What did you say?" Asked Sephiria

"So your asking what did you say which actually means what did I say?" Teased Shun

"Gaaahhh!!! Your playing mind games again!!!" Complained Sephiria as she had enough of such mind games which consisted throughout the journey

"Heh! My win" smirked Shun

Even though their comical atmosphere was apparent, they still were able to talk normal as Sephiria introduced Shun about the places in the capital

Not long after the carriage stopped as it let's both Sephiria and Shun out I front of a long stairs that leads to the academy's gate

Seeing the stairs Shun's complexion suddenly turned cold, which made even Sephiria looked back at him

"Are you okay?" She asked

But the reply she heard was quite different from what she expected

"Hahahahaha... . . My old enemy... . . Stairs!!!"

Of course taking account on what he said, it was already apparent that the moment Shun managed to arrive at the top, he was already so haggard and exhausted as if he have been running for a day now non-stop

Of course since Sephiria was on a hoodie, no one actually recognized her from afar and just considered her as a commoner with another commoner

After much deliberation Sephiria followed Shun to the testing site for the commoner enrollees

When they arrived however, the scenario was quite different from what Shun expected

Because of the commoners brazenness, some of the boys that have girlfriends and fiance's actually brought their partners with them to serve as a cheering and a morale boost for them

Of course for those who are single, such supportive and lovey dovey scene of two lovebirds clearly supporting each other, was actually quite sickening for them as if they were being made fun off because they are single

Such thought were swirling around those single men and women that are participating for the test

The test however was simple for commoners as they just only needed to destroy the golem which were casted by the professors

Some time passed until it reached noon when Shun's name was called

Upon entering the arena many people's attention was caught not by his looks.but by his appearance and outfit

Firstly he was still wearing his modern clothes and his hair was quite long which is not common for commoners when prefer short hair

I'm actuality the reason why Shun didn't get rid of his modern clothes was because he payed a lot for his clothes so it was expected that he wouldn't let it go, plus it was the only connection he got from his old world

Just when everyone was about to laugh at his weird clothes, a supporting cheer actually came from a person in the crowd

Apparently Sephiria was cheering for Shun while her hood was let down causing everyone to see her blond hair, fair skin, beautiful face, and red eyes

This sight for sore eyes immediately shocked the crowd as they couldn't believe that such weird dressing guy was actually in able to get acquainted with a beautiful girl

Immediately they showed their dissatisfaction as they cheered for the golem instead

(Why is the world unfair!!!)

(Impossible! A guy like him together with a beautiful girl like her?)

Hearing all those curses and complaints, Shun adruptly gave Sephiria a tired look, unfortunately the latter actually took this chance as she did a pyon pose and said "teehee!"

Seeing her act like that Shun was really determined to make her pay for instigating the crowd

Of course without any further arguments due to his anger, Shun actually one-shoted the golem in a single swing, ending the match in just a mere second

After that they tested his magic which Shun simply showed "Flame Breath!" And created a sea of fire

One by one Shun passed all the test which made him really standout as he passed with flying colors

With that the whole arena suddenly turned silent

After the test it took about three days before the start of the classes and within those days Shun immediately bought all the necessities he needed for the classes with the help from Sephiria

When Sephiria entered, Shun was really surprised on how much she groomed herself by actually trimming her hair and tying a bon over her flowing hair at the back of her head like a certain Anime character from SAO, followed by a blue shirt, blue skirt, blue tie and a white vest she in turn turned out not only charming but cute too

Upon seeing her, Shun really deducted that skill was much more taken in by those royalties rather than manners and beauty which really differs from his modern world

As for Sephiria she was quite surprised by how much shun has taken his appearance into account in order not to embarrass her

Not only did he also trimmed his hair but he also tied it up into a ponytail using a black rubber while leaving some bangs on his forehead for a fashion design, followed by the blue laced uniform and blue pants, he was quite charming for a fact

But since he was having a hard time putting on his uniform, Sephiria in turn helped him

After a while that she fixed his uniform up close to him like a real couple would, she instantly blushed as she punched him lightly and said

"Hmph! Let's go! We have classes!"

Hearing her say that, Shun couldn't help but laugh

"Hahaha! Your actually going to act all tsundere on me? Well this is new!"

Hearing that Sephiria immediately tried to deny that fact as she stated

"Idiot!"
