Chapter 65: A Day That Was Unexpected

[Gritonnia Academy]

"No weapons allowed!!! Only wits, magic and pure strength should be displayed, if both of you understand this then move to your spot immediately"

As the instructor said this to both Leo and Shun, the former immediately took action as he jumped back and stace himself infront of Shun

As for the latter, he simply walked over his spot before gazing back at Leo

With two people at an appropriate distance against each other, the instructor immediately nodded in satisfaction and started the fight

"Fight!"

Like a bang Leo immediately crouched down in a powering up stance as he stacked upon stacked of spells on him

"Strength improvement!, Strength ammunition!, Strength inflation!, Iron body!, Iron fist!, Enhancement mobility!, Mobility improvement!, Strengthen limbs!, Gatling effect!, Exploding fist!, Aura of Dominator!!!"

With that Leo's battle prowess rose substantially as he immediately did a thing position and dashed towards Shun at an incredible speed

Seeing that his opponent made his move, Shun immediately puffed out his chest as he breath a huge amount of flames in front of him

"Flame Breath!"

Unfortunately Leo saw through this so he quickly applied Mana armor on him which further strengthen his defences, which also made him able to pass through the flames

Without a moment's thought Leo made a full dash towards him as he arched his back to deliver a full blown punch

"Courage!"

Very quickly Shun activated his defensive skill which provides him with an armor plus effect

When both offensive spell and defensive spell collided, a huge shockwave immediately reverbrated across the room and made an exploding effect which pushed Shun to slid back by a few blocks due to the impact

Luckily Shun was able to.out his guard up when Leo was bringing up his attack on him, thus minimizing the damage being dealt on him

"Haysst!!! That really hurts!" Said shun as he rubbed the sore on his arm that was used to block most of his attack

On the other hand Leo was surprised to see shun only taking minimal damage inspite his stacked up attack

"Your pretty sturdy yourself!"

"I know that your complementing me and such but hearing it from a guy is kinda weird" replied Shun

"Wa... . . No!!!"

As that were happening, a different commotion however was brewing up.below the arena

"That shockwave was really something, I can't believe that guy just took it all without damage"

"Your wrong! that guy did get damaged, just look at his arm! It's swollen!"

"Nice! If we keep it up we might have a chance to win"

As the boys were discussing this, the girls on the other hands were starting to brew up their own type of gossiping news, especially the unknown relationship of Shun and Sephiria

While that was happening both Sephiria and Aria gave their own point of view on the situation

"That swollen arm... . . Even though I'm just watching it, I can already fell the pain just for seeing such swollen injury" commented Aria as she glance at Shun's swollen hand

"I know, but I'm not worried, after all both Shun and I had already fought stronger monsters so this much damage is nothing" said Sephiria

"Stronger monsters? Are you telling me that both of you have experience on fighting monsters?" Asked Aria

"Well yeah!"

"Woah! I'm so jealous!

"Hehe! Plus it was a dungeon monster!" Said Sephiria

"I see... . . I wish I could experience that" commented Aria

Returning back to the arena, Leo once again decided to attack Shun head on one more time, but this time he would aim continouesly at his vitals

After stacking himself up once more, he quickly dashed towards him as he rattled Shun with punches all over

However since Shun raises both of his arms to protect his face, the attacks that came from his blindspots were open for attacks

With a punch to the gut, Leo immediately processed to do an uppercut, followed by a right straight to the face

The attack might've been successful but since Shun's stats were off the the chart already he slightly let Leo attack him openly

But of course since Leo was stacking up spells above another spells in a high speed casting, he somehow inputted a pressure on Shun's defences

With his gatling punches he managed to penetrate through Shun's arms and flayed them away from his face, the moment that happened he quickly did a spin and delivered a back spin kick to the head

"Courage!" Muttered Shun which effectively protected his head from a dangerous damage

With another impact Shun once again was pushed back to some degree as he slid across the floor and eventually getting cornered

However when Shun wiped the blood on his lips he somehow smiled in satisfaction as he suddenly remembered something and said the line from a certain movie that he always wanted to say in his dreams

"C'mon! You've been on a defensive! Attack me! Show me what you got!" Provoked Leo

On the other hand Shun was so.immersed in his impersonation that he slowly stood up and smiled at Leo without showing a slight pain from his injury

"All of that for a drop of blood!?!?"

As if taking that as a provocative reply, Leo immediately raises both of his guards as he expected Shun to attack

At that Shun lightly hopped on his place before dashing towards Leo in an incredible speed and lowering his body to the point that he did a deep slide as he stretched forward and did back spin when he got under him

Due to the back spin Shun somehow successfully kicked his jaw upwards which stunned Leo due to the quick maneuvering of the attack

While still in mid stunt which placed him in a upsidedown position, Shun quickly took a hold of his position and did a straight kick on Leo's face followed by a low kick which removed his opponent's equilibrium of balance and dropped to the ground

Regaining his proper posture Shun immediately delivered an uppercut to the face the moment Leo took the chance to look up, which resulted to him being propelled off his feet again

But not giving the opponent's a chance to counter Shun immediately arched his back as veins popped up on his right arm and delivered a straight punch to the gut with a rotational force applied to it

"Gah!"

Due to the attack Leo was blasted off his feet and crashed against the wall, but such wall wasn't enough to stop it's momentum thus by a few milliseconds  the wall eventually collapsed and proceeded Leo to crash against numerous walls of different rooms before stopping it's impact the moment Leo was blasted out into the open field of the academy

If counted the rooms that got pierced through was about three rooms, so all in all Leo crashed against five walls before getting blasted out of the academy which surprised and alarmed a lot of students and glanced back towards the perpetrator who was already stretching his arms due to numbness

"Whoo! I haven't moved that much for a while now, it's kind of refreshing" exclaimed Shun as he didn't notice the surrounding shocked gaze of the students from his class and from the other class that guy disrupted

With that Shun jumped off the arena and proceeded to approach both Sephiria and Aria who was stunned to what happened a few seconds ago

After passing through them, Shun somehow felt unease as he noticed that both Sephiria and Aria were somehow was still in a stunned trance

"Let's go! I believe it's already a break time right?... . . Let's take some lunch at the cafeteria, I want some spicy noodles for this day's meal" said Shun as he led the way completely unbothered by the commotion he created

The moment that he left the room, both the students and the instructor regained their senses as they felt the sudden urge of emergency

"Crap we forgot Leo!" Alarmed by one of the boys

"Someone get a stretcher! Quick!" Said the instructor

"Does anyone knows a healing spell?" Asked by the other boy

"We need to tend him quick!!!" Said the other

~Next morning~

As the commotion of what happened yesterday, the news of a certain student possessing a crazy amount of strength spreads out throughout the campus, but since they lacked formal witnesses the rumor begun to dim down by the time the afternoon starts

Since the rumor was lacking further details and eye witnesses of the fight, or some people are just arrogant for not accepting a fact, the rumor somehow got distorted and somehow proceeded like this

'A monster was able to take out a person in one punch with the force of ten siege weapons and was currently hiding in the shadows of the Academy'

Due to the absurdness, the rumor eventually died down for some who has no interest to the things that are happening elsewhere besides their class

Or it was supposed to be until something unexpected happened

For some reason since this was a collaboration class of section 2-Alpha and 2-Beta, with the subject of "proper etiquette", Shun was somehow dissatisfied as he could clearly see the excited gaze of Wendy who was together with Cedric and was for some reason grouped to them to form a five man group

Cause of that they were placed on a circular formation as a class group

The sitting was the following

- Aria

- Sephiria

- Shun

- Cedric

- Wendy

For safety precautions Shun sorted between Sephiria and Cedric to protect the former from some of the latter's harsh words

Of course Cedric didn't mind Shun being over protective, but as for Sephiria she was at times blushing when Shun somehow tries to block Cedric's mocking gaze that was supposed to be directed at her by acting as a wall in between them

Atmost when Shun felt that the sharp was too mocking to bare and was piercing too much, he would at times draw his body forward in a hugging position just to completely cover Sephiria from Cedric's mocking gaze

Even though it's comical for sure Yuumi on the other hand provided further blocking insurance as she was somehow strategically placed on Shun's head and was currently flipping through the pages of her flying book with some glasses from who knows where she took them

"So I see you have an immense strength! Are you aiming to be a Superman of this world?"

"Hah! Superman? Nah! Too troublesome" replied Shun

Few days back Shun was able to introduce to Aria about the Otaku culture thus by a few days of watching some entertaining shows, she in turn turned into a Otaku buddy for Sephiria herself

This in turn strengthened their friendship with each other

Currently while blushing from Shun's overprotective attitude, Sephiria in turn was discussing to Sephiria about the amv "shelter" and how much it affected both of them to the point they cried while watching it

As for Shun he begun to redirect both Wendy and Cedric's attention

"Speaking of that... . .what about the other four targets that you have charmed? Cause the way I look at it, they are currently glaring at me for being able to converse normally to you... . . By the way if your aim is being together with this prince dude, then why did you charm the other targets?" Asked Shun

"Eh?! It's not my fault! Really believe me!!! I just accidentally bumped into them and slightly became kinder and gentle to them since I idolized them so much in the game to the point of blind respect, bit for reason that became the trigger for them to suddenly take a liking to me" explained Wendy

Hearing that Shun glanced at Cedric for confirmation only to see a drop of sweat streaking down his face as if worried about something

"Hmm... . .Wendy is SUS" said Shun

"No really! Believe me! Cedric tell them!" Said Wendy

After a while of silence Cedric immediately cleared the misunderstanding

"It's true! Being my fiancee and all, she can't go around and seduce another man since that would be a disgrace to the royal family, unfortunately we can't do anything if the man himself was charmed by her even though she didn't do anything, this ended up as a something like her situation of four additional guys going after her"

Upon hearing that Shun somehow inputted a side remark

"What a sinful woman!"

"Sinful? Is it a sin by being good and all!?!?"

"... . . I got no counter!"

"Of course you don't since you know that I'm right"

"Yeah! Yeah! Whatever"

As both Wendy and Shun were agitating each other, the former suddenly warned him about something

"What about you?" Exclaimed Wendy

"What about me?" Asked Shun

"If you continue your position like that, something unexpected will happen"

Since Shun's position was leaning towards Sephiria front first, he was somehow with an intent to protect her from Cedric, but for some reason Wendy thought of this as something like a dangerous position

"There's no way that something will happen, right Sephy?" Asked Shun as he turned his head to face Sephiria

Unexpectedly Sephiria herself was also looking towards Shun, so the moment they faced each other, their face was so close to the point that they can feel each other's breath and their nose are actually touching each other

"Told you!"

At that remark both Shun and Sephiria became quite red as the latter immediately pulled back and went to the restroom to cool herself

As for Shun he was just sitting their with a quite surprised and blushing expression and all

"Well I did warn you" said Wendy

"Shun... . . Too bold" reacted Aria as she blushed from witnessing something unexpected

"Heh! Cliche" mocked Cedric

"Oh shut up!"
