Chapter 80: The Academy's Representatives

[Gritonnia Academy]

With the ending of the last match that took everyone's attention, the judges themselves started to talked to each other and have given the students of the academy a break time which made everyone had a free time to discuss the recent matches

Naturally everyone had talked about the last match as this match was the one that caught  everyone's attention for a certain reasons

Such as both contestants were serious, their seriousness was so intimidating that it almost felt like they were actually trying to kill each other, and the other one was two of them have each unique fighting style and class that made it out of the norm of a normal mage versus fighter matches.which is quite common to have

With this hot topic the crowd soon gathered up to where both Shun and Cedric was staying which made it hard for the both of them to take a rest

Some boys admire their fighting style this asked whether they take disciples or if they ever teach other people

While most feel reverance towards Shun, Cedric on the other hand was more being surrounded by girls who have taken interest in him and asking whether he was taken or single

But nevertheless Shun wasn't the type to help him, so he ignored him for a bit and focused on answering the questions from other students regarding what they wanted to improve

Soon after their companions got to where they are as they congratulated both of them for doing their best out there

"Wah! Shun! You were like so cool with your expression suddenly turned serious and your empty blank stare as if your focused on the fight... Are you really like that?" Asked Wendy

"Naturally... That how I always look when I'm fighting" said Shun

Of course to support his claim both Sephiria and Aria nodded their heads when Shun said that

As for Rachel she just congratulated him as if she knew that his victory was already obvious

But of course everyone was much more surprised on how much the prince had showed his combat potential in the arena thus they showered him with all kinds of praises

However at one point Cedric and Sephiria somehow made an eye contact, which made the latter flinch before she smiled and bowed her head

With that Cedric approached shun and said

"Asked me later on what you wanted to know when your free" said Cedric before returning  towards the audience seat

Of course shun understood that such place was inappropriate to talk about such matter so he just calmly thought about it before returning to his seat too

Naturally when he managed to take a seat he somehow felt tired all of the sudden as if he felt his body was so heavy that it would fall

As for Sephiria who noticed his condition she gently smiled as she slowly pulled shun over and made him lean on her

Of course Shun was surprised at first but after that he just let's it go as he leaned on her that made them look really close to each other

Soon the announcement for the representative for the joint Academy tournament that will be held next month by six different academy was being commenced

Of course naturally the principal whom shun never met appeared before them and started talking about the tournament

"Greetings! As the principal of this academy I can never be proud enough to realize that there were many talented individuals in our academy, at such as the principal... It will be my greatest honor for me to announce the representative for upcoming joint tournament of six academies"

Of course hearing this they begun to anticipate who will join the four representative

Since there are four classes that will mean there will be four representative who was beat of the best in class whether in combat

Or something else

Soon a randomized order of announcement was made

"First Delta Class representative... Sonia Louverich"

"Second Gamma Class representative... Goran Kallos"

"Third Alpha Class representative... Rosalyn Breckt

"Fourth Beta Class representative... Shun Kurosaki"

With that the display showed the four names that was mentioned by the principal

Alpha Class- Rosalyn Breckt (Magic Swordsman

Beta Class- Shun Kurosaki (Summoner)

Delta Class- Sonia Louverich (Sound Mage)

Gamma Class- Goran Kallos (Guardian Knight)

Of course when everyone saw that result, they were at a shocked state as they realized that Cedric wasn't placed as the representative as it clearly showed that he has potential to become a representative as well

Naturally there were a commotion about this, but the principal said something that made everyone understood

"I know what everyone is thinking but this is a fair mark, the reason why Prince Cedric wasn't included in the representative list is because he was one point behind Rosalyn, if only he have won then perhaps he would be the representative... But sadly he lost, with that we decided this outcome"

Hearing that some grumbled in complain, while some just kept their mouth shut

Of course contrary to them, Cedric was somehow relived he wasn't picked and suddenly smiled towards Shun who suddenly got goosebumps

This was further confirmed when he heard his next words

"Finally! Now I can slack off for a week or two"

Hearing that Shun too saw that moment of bliss slip towards Cedric himself and the word responsibility suddenly chaining him down

Realizing that Shun's face suddenly turned pale the moment he realized that the prince never wanted to become a representative

Due to his shaking, Sephiria mistakenly took this as Shun was excited thus she carrassed his head lightly, but Shun only felt chills when Sephiria did that

"That damned prince... He... Ahhhh" screamed Shun internally

With that the day ended without any problem occuring as everyone returned to their own room except for two people who somehow were meeting on the bench right outside the garden

As Shun took the one side, Cedric naturally took the other side as they stayed quiet for awhile

Soon after Cedric sighed before starting their conversation

"Before we start having a heartfelt conversation I would want the person hiding near us to please come out, both of us could clearly sense you"

When Cedric said that naturally someone actually appeared out from the dark

Apparently not was Sephiria who came out which shocked both Shun and Cedric

"I only came and become curious since I saw Shun walked out of his room and came hear..." She said before her voice died down

Seeing her cowering cause of their stare made Shun wanted to laugh but held it in, instead he moved to the side and tapped the warm seat the he previously took a sit

Seeing that Sephiria's eyes suddenly calmed down as she nodded and sits beside Shun whole observing both of them

Seeing that Cedric raised an eyebrow before hearing Shun's words

"It's okay for her to hear it, I'll take all the responsibility anyway"

Hearing that Cedric finally agreed to him as his role towards Sephiria ended a long time ago when he failed to accomplish it

"Anyway... I don't care, but for some reason you two look too cozy as your both close to each other, are you perhaps on a relationship?" Smirked Cedric as he saw Sephiria wrapping her blanket around Shun

Based on his memory Sephiria was always a caring girl and was easy to trust people, that was her strong point but also her greatest weakness

Due to the cold wind naturally Sephiria who saw nothing wrong about their movements cuddled up near Shun, since she thought this was natural for close besties as they always do this back when she was at the manor together with Shun while watching anime in the middle of the night

Shun who was somehow dense just acted naturally as he said

"Alright tell me what you know, especially to the part where it will include my life on the line"

Hearing that Cedric suddenly turned grim as he remembered his expression in the past, the expression of despair

"Alright I'll tell you about Sephiria first before the future of this kingdom"

With that Cedric begun to talk
