Chapter 100: Gritonnia Academy Vs Ballad Academy II

Cheers arose as the two academies Gritonnia and Ballad Academy representative's fought against beach other

For a moment shun even felt like the audience of ballad academy seemed to have a lot of supporters, thus causing some academies to feel the weight on every cheer that they make

While on the process of putting out Goran in the fight, both Rosalyn and Sonia tried their best to provide aid towards him but was still stopped by the other two of Ballad academy

As the girl named Hestia was facing Sonia, Rosalyn on the other hand was facing against Nape Ejallon

Waving her hand Rosalyn casted a spell towards Nape as she tries to breakthrough the hold

"Piercing Ice!"

Shooting off the spell Rosalyn then immediately condensed a thick sword from her hand and charged towards Nape

With this Nape then parried the ice spell with his hand as he suddenly appeared infront of Rosalyn in a blink of an eye before delivering her a heavy blow of a punch

Surprised by the speed, Rosalyn immediately crossed her hand infront of her as she received the full punch of a male person

"Kuh!"

Blown away by a few meters Rosalyn tried to get up and retaliate when suddenly Nape teleported right beside her and dislocated her right arm from her body

"Ah! Ahhhhhhh!"

Feeling the pain Rosalyn then held unto her shoulder as she wretched the pain that she is feeling

Seeing this even the students from Gritonnia Academy was speechless on how the Ballad Academy representative's suddenly became so powerful after receiving 0 points on the first round

As for Shun he was a little surprised as he found out just how strong is the students from Ballad Academy

Contrary to the students in Gritonnia, the students of Ballad however were cheering for joy as they somehow nearly eliminated two out three students from Gritonnia Academy

"Win this round!"

"How come I feel like Gritonnia Academy wasn't that strong?"

As the supports cheered wildly the representatives however felt somewhat proud

With Goran turning limp and Rosalyn gotten dislocated causing a commotion, Sonia however felt the problem brewing when she looked back at her two teammates

"Are you sure it's okay to turn your backs on your opponent?" Smirked Hestia as she released a light attack towards Sonia

Throwing a ring towards Sonia such ring then of course restrained her movements as Hestia prepared for a huge attack

Gathering white flames above her Hestia then planned to finish off Sonia and remove her from the stage

At this moment however Sonia suddenly murmured to herself as she didn't loose hope atleast one time

"Maestro de compositor!"

Releasing a tremendous aura which sucked all the Mana around their surroundings thus nullifying Hestia's spell, a huge phantom which seemed to be a musician composer appeared behind Sonia

Such phantom already appeared once before so the others wasn't surprised by this phantom

Infact even Lorius Ejinto the strongest in Ascalon Academy seemed interested at this kind of spell that he didn't know

"Orchestra de capitulo!"

At this cast a phantomized orchestra overshadowed behind the phantom as if it had a huge band of musicians behind it

"Valkaria Sonata!"

At this the phantom behind Sonia moved as it suddenly raised it's hand and started waving it around as the musicians behind him started playing the music as some string some notes like an orchestra

Even though it's showy, there is a reason why such magic is considered as a combat magic

At visible speed every type of effects applied to his allies immediately got nullified thus the acupuncture that Goran received became non-existent, while the dislocated arm of Rosalyn suddenly got relieved of her pain as her bone slowly attached to her main body

Not only that they felt an immense strength coming from inside their body as series of buffs got applied on them such as advanced healing, strength, agility, flexibility, speed, intuition, reaction

After seeing this effect all principal's of the different academy and the royalty including some military officials finally realized and noticed the grandeur of such showy magic of Sonia

For a moment they were actually at a loss for words as they suddenly remembered the history of magic

"This kind of magic..." Muttered by the principal of Ascalon Academy

"It's efficient for the military" said the General of the kingdom's army

"A magic used in wars... War magic category" said King Hendrick as he too rose from his seat

With new profound strength both Rosalyn and Goran nodded at each other as they charged towards their opponent in high speed as they moved past their defenses and struck each of them a heavy blow

No matter how much Zecarius and Nape tried to block the attacks coming from Goran and Rosalyn, as long as the type of war magic support was on the field, they wouldn't be able to get the upper hand

Realizing that her teammates was in danger Hestia then charged towards Sonia with an attempt to force her to shut off her spell

Gathering white flames in her hand, she then charged towards Sonia

Using such huge spell, Sonia of course needed a large amount of Mana to cast such spell as it continouesly drains her the longer it takes

Popping up some bottles that replenishes her Mana and concentrating her mind unto the spell, she tried her best to hold on for a little while longer

Sensing danger she then forced her maestro to stop the current sonata as the musicians in the orhestra hit a high strung causing a huge wave of energy to slam against Hestia

"Ruler's Sonata!"

Changing the melodic music to a high strung music in a incredible speed, the phantom behind Sonia then omitted attacks of air waves towards Hestia thus cutting off her escape

As the musicians in the phantomized orchestra moved their fingers in a fats motion, more and more airwaves assaulted Hestia to the point that she was surrounded by such an attack

The longer the phantom remains the harder it is for her to approach Sonia, it is as if she was protected by a huge wall as the sound that the phantom produced didn't even let her get close

As for Sonia even though the situation was advantageous to them, her complexion however was paling as her Mana was even more draining her faster than what she can recover

Seeing this as a chance Hestia gathered flames on her fingertips before firing it off heading towards Sonia at the same moment the sound waves around struck her from all direction

With a huge explosion Hestia was struck down by Sonia, but in Exchange the former successfully struck Sonia by her shoulder thus disrupting the spell and cancelling her magic

With that the phantoms behind Sonia disappeared and with it's disappearance an improper cancelling of magic the lash back of that grand magic immediately assaulted Sonia

With it's strength of lash back, such consequence is strong enough to kill her in Sonia's weakened state

At this moment Rosalyn and Goran who at the time before the phantom disappeared had successfully finished off both Zecarius and Nape due to the advantage they had, immediately noticed the change as they expected this to happen when Sonia's spell got interrupted

With a cast just like what the mage in Ascalon Academy did, Rosalyn casted a magic so that the lash back that was supposed to hit Sonia would instead be diverted towards Goran and Rosalyn, thus saving Sonia's life

When the lash back of the cancelled spell struck both of them, the pain was so intense that both of them didn't even realize that the lash back was so strong that it actually knocked them both out

As for Sonia due to Mana deprivation her eyes slowly closed as her body felt heavy, at this moment even Hestia who dealt the damage also got knocked out cause of the huge attack that struck her down coming from Sonia's magic

With that a prompt appeared before the crowd

With the third round ending with another draw the whole crowd went wild as they couldn't believe the result and even thought that the battles was rigged

As many complained about the succeeding results, the principal's and other students of course have seen just how much every academy students was desperate to win

With those resolves the conclusion of all matches ended with a draw

Soon healers and medics barged in to the arena as they provided assistance to people who have a critical condition such as Sonia who got Mana deprived which is a really dangerous situation since the people of this world's body relies on Mana to survive

After some time the arena was cleared as the king and the principal's from other academies congratulated the representatives who fought this round

Successively when everyone including Shun's team in this tournament returned with a pale complexion especially for Sonia who seated beside Shun, the king then announces the almost long end of the tournament after four days of rest in respect for the tired representatives

At the same time they announced that the last round will be a battle royale of different academies meaning six academies with all it's members will be pit altogether inside the arena and try to remain the last Man standing in the arena

With that explanation finished off they soon announced the final results

Seeing that the placement changed a bit and ballad Academy who was once at the bottom is still standing hard as a third placer, all principal's and students were surprised

But with the announcement of the results, the end of the 3rd round was now commenced as the rest day of 4 days was issued and all representatives and students alike returned to their inn's and Manor's that they are staying

As the students from different academies including the civilians who watched flooded the arena's gates Akito somehow walked up to Shun as he placed his hand over his shoulder and said

"So you decided to step down this day? And here I thought I would be able to observe your fight once again" said Akito

"Hehehe! Well I've been busy"

"I see, looks like you have your own circumstances... Well anyway I've got something to tell you, how about let's have a talk tomorrow?" Asked Akito

Remembering that he still had 1 day free for the simulation time extension, shun then replied

"No can do, but the day after tomorrow is fine"

Hearing that Akito nodded

"Sure! It's still a free day after all"

As they talked however Sephiria called shun over as she saw him talking to Akito of Orbium Academy

Of course since this tournament was a friendly one, all participants didn't hold any grudges at all against each other, thus even Rosalyn would be friendly towards a powerhouse from other academies

Seeing that Shun was called over, Akito then gave him a push as he said

"We will meet by then, so go on have fun with your friends!"

Hearing that Shun then thanked him before leaving with the others

As for Akito his young lady a noble woman that he serves in a household and also a students came to him and offered a walk

With a happy smile Akito then followed her for a walk

When night came Shun was inside his room shut in both the doors and windows as he told Rosalyn and his friend not to disturb him for one day

Closing his eyes he then inserted his consciousness into the simulation world

With a thought then thought it all over as he wanted to prepare for the upcoming battle royale

With a firm decision he told his system
