Chapter 137: Summoning Magic Introduced

[Kingdom of Avalon, Aqua Force Main Dormitory House]

After having Mordred's fill from the sparring, they then in the end went inside the guest room for everyone to sit down and talk about things including the result of the sparring match

Of course Mordred wanted to also have a bout agaisnt Shun, unfortunately the latter had his mind on processing the battle just now through thought simulations as he find a way to deal with Mordred's unorthodox swordmanship

After all due to her unorthodox way of swordmanship, she was then able to catch Akito off guard as she completely drilled him with unexpected attacks, just like that the latter himself was completely beaten down by it

Nevertheless he did promise that at some point he may have to spar agaisnt Mordred to prove his theory on dealing with her unorthodox way

Pushing that thought aside Shun then was currently listening to the talks that they were having inside the room while Diva, Sephiria, and Akito were serving tea for everyone to enjoy

"Still your unorthodox way of fighting is really like a pandora box... you had no fighting style, sword style, nor any type of disciplined swordmanship... if I have to say your skills in swordmanship are just purely based on your instinct alone" said Lionel

"Well I'm quite surprised that you noticed up to that point Lionel, I really thought you weren't that observant" said Merlin as he took a sip of his newly brewed tea

"Im quite an observant you know, plus I can tell that much due to my acute senses" replied Lionel

"I see... but indeed just like what our big guy had said, at times Mordred's attack is quite troublesome to deal with... if your the enemy of course" added Merlin

Having heard that from both Lionel and Merlin, Mordred on the other hand couldn't help but be full of pride on herself as she thump her breast plate while looking towards Akito

"Well for my opinion Akito's swordmanship is quite something else too, his style is focused more on immediately execution rather than prolonged fight, we could literally see that he will be quite in a disadvantage if a fight prolongs"

Hearing that Shun couldn't help but remember the tournament back then when Shun was literally having a hard time in a prolonged fight

Thus upon remembering that especially with the case with their battle, the battle against Lorius, and the his spar against Mordred, Shun couldn't agree more to say that Akito wasn't really built in prolonged battle

If one were to say he was more adept to assassination rather than a prolonged one

With that as Shun remembered up to that point, he literally didn't even notice that Mordred, Merlin, and Lionel were staring straight at him

"Speaking of which... I believe aside from having average skills in close quarter combat, Shun also has one more ace at his disposal and that is summoning magic right? Now tell me just what kind of monsters can you summon?" Asked Merlin

Hearing that Mordred then begun pondering on Shun's summons as she kept throwing in some guesses

"Dragons? Orcs? Goblins? Huge snake? Gods? Demons? So what are your summoned creatures?"

As Mordred asked those questions, she also naturally came pressing in on him, which caused Shun to slightly back away from her

"Well... you could say I can summon champions from another realm to fight in my place or rather to fight with me"

Hearing his words Merlin then somehow pointed out

"Champions? Like a hero or some kind?"

"Something along the line... its quite hard to describe, so I can't give you a specific detail" replied Shun

At that Lionel raised a brow and suddenly became interested, on the other hand Mordred urged him to atleast summon one of this so called champions before them

"Hey! Hey! Summon one! You can summon one of this so called champions right? Like its not a big deal right?"

Hearing her Shun then simply replied

"Well of course, its not like its a big deal anyway"

Upon stating that Shun then quickly summoned out his summoning book out of nothing right before his palm, which caused everyone near him to be surprised by the books sudden appearance

Next up the book suddenly opened up on its own as it flip multiple pages in an incredible speed as if it was in a randomize pick mode

Soon after under Shun's thoughts the boom literally stopped on one page as a magic circle appeared above it and light came gushing out, which momentarily blinded everyone

Right after as the light dimmed down, then then saw Yuumi flying by Shun's shoulder as the latter then introduced her

"Well this is Yuumi, she's one of the champions and my summon"

Right after Shun said that, Yuumi then greeted everyone

"Well hello yal!"

At that both Merlin and Lionel were quite i shock to see a talking cat flying in the air with a book beneath it, on the other hand Mordred was somehow excited to sew a cat as she suddenly dived towards Yuumi and caught her in midair, thus started the uncontrollable carrasing of her fur

Oh course Yuumi screamed for help towards Shun, but the latter literally ignored her plea as she left Yuumi in Mordred's mercy

"Ahhhhhhhh!!!! You damned summoner!!! I'll make you pay with my two paws!!!! Hear me?!?!?! I'll make you pay!!!!"

At that Shun just showed an evil smile as if he's taunting Yuumi to freely try if she could do it

Ignoring the fact that Shun smiled evilly, Merlin then came in as he commented on Shun's personalized magic

"Hmm... I really thought that you would summon something big and fierce, but I never expected you to summon a flying cat, and can talk at that too"

Upon hearing that Shun simply nodded as he replied

"Well let's just say that a good first inpression is really not my forte, in fact I would really like to hide my cards, after all I can summon other champions who are more of a battle type than Yuumi"

"More battle type? Your saying you have more summons that are way stronger than that flying talking cat?" Asks Lionel

"Well of course! Plus I have a half-blood dragon and a cosmic dragon in my disposal" answered Shun

Hearing his answer both Lionel and Merlin were quite shook by that revelation, as they didn't expect that Shun had command over a real blooded dragon and a half-blood at that

After all for them dragon's are creatures who can reach the peak of their power which was said to be able to contend agaisnt a God

Even though only few among the dragon's could reach their peak potential and be on par with a God, such creatures shouldn't be underestimated at all, especially their ability to cause destruction to any place they wanted

If such a dragon is already that troublesome, so are the same goes for the half-blood type of people, since they too can't be underestimated both in strength and instincts

One could even depict that such dragon somehow fought people in an unorthodox way just like Mordred, completely unpredictable

But if compared to both stats and physic, then a half-blood is way stronger than Mordred in terms of an unorthodox fighting method

Due to that they were completely in awe towards Shun

With a sigh, Merlin then leaned back on the couch as he somehow smiled wryly

"Oh wow! Your a really dangerous person aren't you Shun?"

"What do you mean?" Asks Shun

"Well the fact that you own a dragon is problematic, after all a dragon could decimate a kingdom, despite the said kingdom's strength... dragon's are incarnation of destruction"
