Chapter 162: Chaotic Event VII

[Kingdom of Avalon]

As Asmodeus finally had gotten rid of the barrier that was protecting the whole building which housed the Kingdom's national treasure, he then turned his attention towards the people protecting the building (Kingdom's troops), while ignoring both Sephiria and Shun who was done in by him and was currently knocked out on the floor

At the same time as he successfully destroyed the barrier, numerous people from the Diabolos cult finally arrived at the scene, as they marvel at Asmodeus appearance and the destroyed scenery around him, seemingly a tough battle had sprung out in the area

Calling out to him, some people among the crowd of the Diabolos cult members then bravely came out front and faced Asmodeus

"Sir Asmodeus! our men had successfully infiltrated the kingdom and is currently in battle against the troops of the kingdom, all of this was possible through your power which then puts you in high regards"

"In accordance to our operation Sir Adelfried ordered us to completely assist you in battle in this side of the battlefront"

"Do you need any of our assistance?"

Hearing their question, Asmodeus then calmly replied to the people behind him as he showed the whole surroundings

"Do you think I need help? look around you!"

In front of such question, the people from the Diabolos cult were literally silenced as they couldn't even utter a single word of refute to his deed, but as if sensing their dismay Asmodeus then pushed that ridicule thought aside as he then urged everyone

"Nevermind what I said! If you want to assist me then why not start by capturing the building for me and retrieve me my treasure, alongside that please dispose of those bodies lying on the ground"

Hearing Asmodeus words, every members of the cult then turned their heads towards Shun and Sephiria as they realized that they were still breathing, thus causing some of them to question Asmodeus

"But sir Asmodeus! they are still alive! What shall we do with them?"

With that question, Asmodeus then simply replied

"Well you can dispose of the male or even sell him to the black market for all I care, as for the female... well you can do whatever you want with her, but when your done doing your business with her, please make sure to clean up your mess"

Upon hearing Asmodeus words, everyone became excited all of the sudden as they turned their gaze towards Sephiria with lustful eyes and thought up of hundred of ways to do her, on the other hand every member of the cult didn't even bathe an eye on Shun as they simply decided to sell him instead and kill him if he tried to resist

But before they could even get close to both Shun and Sephiria's body, a huge surge of pink flower petals suddenly erupted around the area as it covered both Shun and Sephiria as if protecting them from harm and momentarily distracted the whole cult members and Asmodeus alike

While everyone is distracted from having huge amount of flower petals covering their sight right in front of them, Merlin on the other hand took this slight chance of momentarily distraction and retrieve both Shun and Sephiria away from the site

Of course some of the cult members at the back of the group which had good eyesight had somehow saw Merlin's sneaky trick and immediately called out towards the people around him

"Someone's taking the guy and the girl away!!! Stop him!!!"

But before the cult members try and catch Merlin's silhouette, Asmodeus simply stayed calm on the situation and immediately called out towards the members of the cult, causing them to stop on their tracks

"Leave them! they are not that important! we must focus on our objective and not blindly chase someone around with no goal in mind... We need to retrieve the treasure first, before everything else, thus you can leave them alone and help me raid this whole building"

At that order many of the members of the cult who were expecting their share towards doing Sephiria then suddenly became dejected as they obediently followed Asmodeus words and charged towards the building which were only being protected by normal troops of the Kingdom

Not even glancing back towards the direction wherein Merlin had escaped with both Shun and Sephiria, he then focused on his current objective as he walked towards the building itself

Meanwhile as Asmodeus was currently raiding the building which housed the national treasure itself, Adelfried on the other hand was currently focused on his objective on taking down the whole royal family in revenge for the cult suffering for the past 20 years since its downfall

With him leading the charge together to about 200 cult members and some senior executive of the cult, Adelfried was then able to somehow charged pass through the front yard of the royal family's castle and is somehow come face to face against the crown prince of the neighboring country overseas of Holsteia Kingdom, Prince Cedric

While his senior executives of the cult were distracting Captain Kalego himself, his own greatest competitor in strength, Adelfried was then freely roaming around the Kingdom and came face to face  with two royal family itself, the royal family of Avalon Kingdom and the royal family of Holsteia Kingdom

But instead of being leeway  and easy for him to dispose the two royal family situated in the royal Royal throne which they safeguarded themselves, he was then currently stuck in a situation wherein he was for4ced to face against a brave prince of a foreign Kingdom

Unfortunately despite Cedric's brave front on protecting the two royal family behind him at all cost, he was then currently completely beat up from head to toe on just fighting against Adelfried himself, seemingly the leader of the Diabolos cult

Compared to him who looked pathetic and fully bruised all over, Adelfried on the other hand was completely scot free from any type of injury at all, which completely puts him at the disadvantage

In Actual fact he stood no chance at all against such a person, but Cedric couldn't falter now since he is not only protecting an allied country but also his own family, gritting his lips to endure the pain that he was currently going through, he then bravely taunted Adelfried

"Come and get some!"
