Chapter 253: The Night That No One Will Forget III

As the song continued on, Shun and Sephiria literally dominated the whole place itself with their atmosphere, causing the buzzing crowd to turn their attention towards them. Accompanied by the music, everyone felt mesmerized by the scenery right in front of them which once more reminded of them of their innocent love that they retained or had lost.

Almost everyone who attended the party were somewhat emotional to the point that they somehow shed a tear. Surprisingly Lorius unknowingly also shed a tear as the song reminded him of his past. Of course this got his other party members to react as they approached him.

"Lorius! your crying!"

"Are you hurt somewhere?"

"Looks like this music really gets to you huh?"

As Mario, Cynthia, and Rekka gave their concerns towards him, Lorius on the other hand laughed at the side as he wipes his tear.

"That song really has the capabilities to make you remember the past... look! even Akito is getting emotional"

Hearing his words, everyone then turned their gaze towards Akito as they saw his eyes turning red from just remembering the loved one he left behind upon coming to this world. Naturally this caused Iris to feel somewhat sorry for Akito's circumstances as she somewhat partially knew that Akito must have been longing for home, but he is unable to return.

When all the eyes turned towards him, Akito then quickly looks away as he used his own sleeves to wipe the tear off his eyes.

"Sorry about that"

Upon seeing him trying to cover up his tears, everyone couldn't help but give off a light hearted laugh as they felt like they saw something quite unexpected from both Lorius and Akito.

Not long after the song then ended which left the whole room in silence and somewhat unable to move on from the atmosphere that the song had engraved upon them. Not long after this silence, Duke Alan then clapped his hand with a bit of tears in his yes, which caused the crowd to snap back into reality and clapped together with him.

At first they clapped at both Shun and Sephiria, followed by an applause for the singer and the musician, which was then followed quickly by the applause for the entertainment as a whole. Just like that, songs with proper lyrics was born into this world.

After their dance, Sephiria was led to the crowd per the directions of the program director in order to meet with various people that attended the party and receive their congratulatory thanks. As for Shun he returned to where Cedric and the rest are, and watched how everything plays out.

Of course per request from the attendees, the song "Thousand years" was played again, causing some of the men and young lady's to pull their own fiancé's to the dance hall and make their own version of the dance with their own world. Seeing as how much fun this is, Iris pulled Akito to the dance floor, while Lorius and the rest of his party were asked for a dance from the people who recognized them. Even Cedric as the crown prince was pulled out in order to dance with some of the lady's who admired him.

In the end, Shun was left alone on the side as he watched everyone have their fun in dancing with the song.

Since he was left alone, He then moved to the food area where the servers were giving food to people who doesn't plan to dance on the dance floor and enjoy the luxury food of another world cuisine. Even though some food may look weird due to the vast difference of food culture of earth from this world, their taste and seasoning were bearable since they actually taste good overall.

While taking some of the food hand picked by him, an old man with white beard that Shun met back at the garden of the Gritonnia academy then closed in on his side and picked some food between them.

"Your the old gardener that i saw back in the academy! you were also invited here?"

"Well duke Alan is quite a generous person to invite me here too" said by the old principal of the Gritonnia Academy

"Well he is quite a good guy, but isn't the academy itself quite far from here? it literally takes weeks just for us to reach this place through a horse carriage" asked by Shun

"Well horse carriages isn't the only transport one can take to reach here you know.... you do know we have airships too right? that takes about a day or two just for me to reach the duke's territory"

Once Shun heard that, he then couldn't help but be shock in surprise as he literally forgot to take the airship on the way back. The last time he rode an airship is when he was going at the venue of the six academies competition. After that he literally forgot all about the airship itself. It was no wonder why Sephiria was looking at him weirdly when he insisted that they should take carriage for a transport back to the duke's estate. After all for an airship, it will only take a day or two for it to reach the duke's territory which will save a lot of time.

"I completely forgot about that! how did i forget such simple thing?"

"That is not a good sign kid! you having dementia at such a young age?" teased by the academy's principal

"No its all entirely my fault gardener... looks like i do have a dementia.... is it because i exposed myself too much on gadgets in my past life?" asked by Shun to himself

"Gadget?" asks by the principal of the academy

"It's nothing! forget about it!" replied by Shun

"I see... well anyway i'm just here to exchange a few words with you while taking my food, nice meeting you here again kid, now if you'll excuse me" said by the principal of the academy

"I see, no worries! have fun at the party mister gardener" said by Shun as he bowed down in respect to the elderly

As the academy principal left the stage, Shun then sat at one of the dining table and begun eating some of the delicacies that he had took from the serves. in that moment a person suddenly sat opposite of him, which caused Shun to stop eating his food and cry out from surprise after not seeing the person for quite a long time.

"Long time no see Shun!"

The person in front of him is the father of Millia and the very first noble that he had met in this world, Viscount Zack.
