Chapter 314: Synchronization! First Descent Of The Monkey King

The moment both Akito and Lorius step away, Shun then came out from the smoke, as everyone who saw him were quite surprised on what he looks like.
Shun himself had transformed into a humanized demonic monkey resembling sun wukong himself.
All of this is due to the system function
Of course per the functions description, Shun would be able to wield the chosen champions ability
For example if the synchronization rate is low, Shun would be able to use wukongs ability less efficient and much pressure in his body, similar to how a newbie plays sun wukong in the game. But with high rate, he would be able to move easily like a professional using a character itself.
But despite that both Akito and Lorius were shocked that Shun has a transformation skill that they haven't known before. But since Shun held this as a trump card, then perhaps it could somewhat be useful in this situation.
On the otherhand the boss monster itself seemed wary of Shun who had fully transformed and synchronized with sun wukong. For some unknown reason, Shun exudes aura that only comes from the strong, due to that the boss seemed quite restless as it couldn't wait to fight against Shun. After all a boss of his caliber often had a hard time finding people who he can fight with. With Shun present and fully transformed, he now can finally let loose.
Unknown to all of them, synchronization doesn't only transform the host into the selected champion, but it also mixes in the personality of the said champion towards the host original personality, due to that Shun will often times act like the real sun wukong in the myths.
"Its my time to shine! So your the one who the host is having a hard time dealing with huh? Impressive! Impressive! I'm intrigued!"
Hearing and seeing the sudden change of tone from Shun's voice, Akito couldn't help but call out to him with a question in mind.
"Shun! Is that you?"

When Sun wukong heard that, he simply smiled and said.
"I am Shun, I am Sun wukong, we're the same, two souls, one body... remember that silly mortal"

Upon seeingvthe systems notification about the duration of the synchronization, Sun Wukong frowned for a bit as he reluctantly turned to face the boss monster once more.
"Looks like I can't fool around any longer... Come! Fight me tin man!!!"
The moment Sun Wukong said this, he then quickly charged forward, causing the boss to react the same and charge towards him at the same time.
Not long after, both of them clashed with one another as the boss swung his sword and Wukong swung his iron rod (ruyi jingu bang). Theoment this two weapon clashed, a shockwave reverberated throughout the earth, as both of them quickly pulled back and immediately launched a series of attacks against one another.
None of them gave in, as both of them goes on full throttle against one another.
Finally after awhile, the boss monster firstly pulls away by quickly leaping backwards, before entering into a stance and releasing its skill.
"Third Sword Moonlight Strike!!!"
In response to this, Sun wukong immediately wielded his rod to deflect the attack to the side, before poi ting his rod towards the boss direction and attacking from afar.
"Extend!!!"
Under his command, the rod instantly extended itself in length, as it shot towards the boss in high speed like a bullet. In response to this, the boss was then forced to use another one of its skill to offset the force of Wukong's attack and complete deflect it.
"Fifth Sword Crescent Swing!!!"
However the moment the attack was deflected and a huge explosion erupted beside him, the extended long rod seemingly vanished into thin air as it was instantly retracted back to its original size far faster than what the boss eyes can follow.
"Retract!!!"
Before Anyone could even react Wukong once more launched his rod forward as he muttered.
"Extend!!!"
This time the boss monster itself was forced to dodge to the side, as the attack left an aftershock in the air just by how fast the attack had been launched. But before the boss could fully recover, the rod was instantly retracted once more, as Wukong suddenly appeared beside him and squarely hit its side which launched the boss into the air.
After that Wukong quickly followed the airborne boss by jumping as high as he launched the boss in the air, and gave it a smack by swing his rod down towards it, causing the boss monster to crash down to the ground forming a crater.
As if that wasn't enough, Wukong even threw his rod towards the boss on the ground as the rod further struck it to its guts, causing the boss monster to gasp for air. Afterwards Wukong landed at the on top of his rod which pinned down the boss, while happily clapping his hands.
"That was fun! I know that's not all you can do! Show me more! Show me more!"
Seeing the cheekbones of Wukong, the boss monster suddenly became annoyed as he released his black mana into the area which made Sun wukong quickly jump away while his rod was block back by the force of its mana.
Soon after the boss then stood up from the ground as it gets ready to attack Wukong himself.
"Sixth Sword Pitch Black!!!"
In that instant the whole area was enveloped in darkness as all of Wukong senses became dull as it was drowned in pitch black.
