Chapter 9, Business Deals

Class had ended and we walked to a nearby cafe Michael had owned, the Su Cafe.

It was a cafe that started as a small meetup place that slowly turned into a nationally known cafe, earning about 567,00 USD.

Though, we say it's his business. We integrated several of ours into his also, such as Pharma Foods and Turreto Bakery, we three share 17% stocks on it.

It's mostly pocket money for us though, we joined together to form the Into Group and have 30 companies under it, it seems unbelievable for students like us to own alot but it really isn't.

We started the group when we created 3 businesses each under the suggestion of Michael, and the policy of the group was to unite and complement each other.

We arrived in the cafe and went up to the VIP floor in which we chose a room.

"Welcome, boss.", a waiter bows.

"What would you like to order, sirs?" the waiter asked.

"The usual lunch we have please." I said.

Then we took a seat and started our planning.

"The project theme is to fight climate change and embark on a revolution, anyone here has any complaints?" Michael started the conversation and asked.

"It seems viable, but how do we convince people to change to electric instead of the infamous gasoline vehicle?" I asked

"There have been a few electric cars out in the market but none of them has succeeded, why do you think this plan of yours shall succeed?" Jake also asked.

"I know your concerns, and it is appropriate to have those concerns. My plan is to invent a car that is affordable, efficient while maintaining luxury features. We can implement these by merging the companies dealing with electric components such as Inventia Electric, DeepMastery Incorporation and Rothso Automobili into one." Michael suggested.

"What do you have in plan for those three companies then?" I asked.

"Inventia Electric, which you hold controls half of the international market for electric components such as electric motors, battery packs and chipsets, aren't I right Zen?" Michael looked at me.

"Yes, my company does control half of the international market for electronic components, by specifically mentioning those three components, you wish to let us handle the components for the electric car?" I said.

"Specifically yes, in addition to that. I have a few ideas that could possibly lead to a breakthrough, would you like to listen in?" He asked.

"A breakthrough, who wouldn't want listen." I showed interest and replied.

Soon, we started talking about several ideas such as integrating a solar panel on the car, cameras for Artificial Intelligence and etc.

I accepted the deal but the talk was not over for me yet.

"What about DeepMastery, what do you intend to do with it?" I asked curiously.

I own both companies, it was when I was 17 year old when I started both companies with the share I had from Su Cafe, in which I then internationalized the companies and generated even more sales.

DeepMastery was an artificial intelligence company born from my curiousity about how far we can go with artificial intelligence.

Inventia Electric was a company dealing with electronic components such as CPU, GPU, electric motors and so far, it was meant to complement DeepMastery more specifically lower the costs.

Both companies became extremely successful by partnering with other companies, especially Inventia which has competed with Rvidia and EMD in the global consumer market.

"I would like DeepMastery to handle the autonomous driving part, considering the fact that your company is currently researching about autonomous, this should be a handful of a deal." Michael said.

Truthfully, his offer had convinced me with this cooperation, it saves us alot of time dealing with other car manufacturers and if the plans works well earns us a huge amount of profits and recognition.

"Amazingly, you once again had convinced me with this. It's a deal." I said.

"As for Jake, I don't need to explain much am I right?" Michael looked at Jake.

"Yeah, I already got the idea you have. How much will we invest each into this project?" Jake added.

"How about 100 million USD each?" I suggested.

"That's fine for me" Jake said.

"It's a deal then, you can start transferring it into the company once we register the merge." Michael said.

We were about to walk out when suddenly the door opened.

"Hey! How dare you forget about me!" a pink haired girl slammed open the door with a black haired girl trying to stop her behind.

It was Stella and Sia, the two mysterious sisters.

"I will join in this project of yours! 100 million for both of us also!" Sia closed in to us and yelled.

"Fine, the more the merrier" I said.

In total, the project has a total funding of about 500 million with each having a 10% share.
