Is Luis Here?!

So i nod and then he goes on to say, "So if it's you that he wants we have to make it believable so when he wants to trade you for Mateo, y'all trade and when you hear him pass you, you take the blindfold off and come back to us alright?"

i look at him and realize that Miguel really trusts me and knows i will come back, so i nod.

Angel, who is sitting in the driver's seat, then grabs a black fabric like thing, "We're going to go ahead and blindfold you now okay?"

I nod and give him a crooked smile, he then smiles gently and I let him blindfold me.

"You have to act like you're scared when they pull you out of the car and start walking towards them okay? And if this all goes wrong and nobody pulls you out, then it means it was never about you and they want something else alright?" Miguel says, and I nod.

Before I know it I hear Miguel say, "they're here…" but i need to know if luis is with them."Is luis here?"I ask, and everything is quiet for a moment.

And even though I know the answer just by the silence, I need to hear it. "Is he?!" i ask, impatiently.

Miguel then finally says, "yeah," and then after they get out of the car I can hear their footsteps walking away from the car and I'm left in the there, terrified.
