Ji Rose

"Ji Rose"

"You can do it Ji Rose" Su Rin cheered her on.

Ji Rose ignored Su Rin, she thought it was embarrassing to get cheered on by someone whom she didn't consider a friend.

"MY name is Rose, My last name is Ji," she said proudly. Ji Rose was a selfish person or at least that's what people could see in her. She acted as if she was very important and powerful but did she really think that way about herself?

"My Spirit is Urodela Azul, and my move is called Deadly Fire Spring."

Miss Poier was a bit surprised that Ji Rose had a common type of spirit. Ji Rose came from a very well known family both business-wise and for there legendary spirit tamers. The Ji family had the money to find a rare tamed Spirit so why would the get her a common one?

Miss Poier threw the ball up.

Ji Rose wasn't worried at all. She seemed to be very confident. Her body language showed the same thing as well.

"Go!"

As Ji Rose heard Miss Poier she took a deep breath in and seemed to relax a bit. The truth was she was focusing... To be able to make the move she was trying to do, she needed a lot of focus.

Miss Poier knew what was about to happen but something felt weird…

Suddenly the ground started to tremble.

"Another earth quick type of move?" asked Yorokobi.

No, it felt different than Jyn Haru's move. The trembling wasn't felt that strong around the students rather it was focused in one spot only.

The ball was now 30 feet above the ground. The floor started to crack even more but the cracks seemed to form a circle in the direction the ball was heading toward.

You could see Ji Rose was now started to sweat but she wasn't worried or sweating because of nervousness rather she was concentrating so much that it was physically difficult.

The ball was 15 feet above the ground and the crack was now getting bigger. The ball was heading toward the circle-shaped cracks and was about 11 feet above the ground.

Ji Rose seemed to struggle a bit more. Her body was shaking and her eyes were tightly closed.

Suddenly the sound of the cracks got louder and louder.

"I think the floor is going to open up" Su Rin seemed to be excited about what was going to happen. She didn't have a clue about what was exactly going to happen but something about Ji Rose's move made her want to jump up and down.

The ball was now 6 feet above the ground and Ji Rose knew that she had to act now or else her move wouldn't be effective.

She seemed to close her eyes even tighter and she gave a quiet grunt which seemed to give her some strength.

The ground shook even harder to the point where you could hear loud cracking coming from underground. "Pfoosh" was heard from the distance. A large amount of water shot out of the ground. Making the ball stand at the top of the mountain of water. It was a spring of hot boiling water. It was so hot that red steam seemed to be coming from the water.

"I feel like we're in a steam bath." Su Rin and the other students started to sweat and their skin was starting to get red. "Look at Ji Rose's skin," Yorokobi said as she was trying to fan herself with her hand. "It's so red!"

Ji Rose was trying to keep her concentration, but she was struggling and it was clear. Everyone was able to see it. Sweat was dripping down her face, she was starting to get tired and her stamina levels were starting to drop.

"The metal ball is taking to long to melt." Ji Rose thought that her move would make the metal ball melt really easily. "I don't think I can hold it longer." she thought. The metal seemed to start bubbling as if it was a pot of boiling water. Was she going to quit or would she prove that this obstacle was something she could overcome?

Miss Poier could see Ji Rose struggling, but Miss Poier wanted to know how much longer would Ji Rose be able to concentrate and keep her stamina from dropping even more.

Meanwhile, the ball had melted only about one fifth.

"Ji Rose if you keep this up you'll faint," with a worried tone of voice Miss Poier told Ji Rose, "Your stamina levels are to low now, there's no point in trying anymore."

Ji Rose heard Miss Poier's words loud and clear but instead of stopping and listening to her teacher…. She continued. She wasn't going to let people say what her limits were.

"It's getting too hot!" said Su Rin. Hot humid air could be felt throughout the field.

"How much longer will she hold?" Yorokobi didn't consider Ji Rose a friend but she was worried about her classmate.

"Ji Rose if you get hurt, the academy won't be responsible." Miss Poier was now concerned. Ji Rose wasn't stopping and she didn't show any signs of stopping. Miss Poier thought that by telling Ji Rose that the school wouldn't be responsible she would eventually stop...but she didn't.

Ji Rose didn't care if the school became responsible or not. Her family had money and she didn't need the academy to take responsibility for her. Therefore she ignored Miss Poier's warning and carried on.

"Why won't she stop." Su Rin was concerned, her face showed an expression of an overwhelmed friend. "She needs to stop!"

The students were sweating but besides Yorokobi and Su Rin, none of them looked concerned.

"Brother I think she might collapse if she carries on." Cheng Li said with a very playful voice as if she didn't take her classmate's health seriously but more like a game. Cheng Ri kept silent as he listened to his sister's words.

Adino Zen wasn't really paying attention to his admirer. He wasn't concerned one bit about her rather he was still worried about himself.

Durand Victor who was standing at the very end of the left side of the line was paying attention to his classmate. Even though he didn't take his eyes off of her he didn't have one bit on consideration in his face. Rather he looked alert yet lazy at the same time. "She's weak." he thought.

Jyn Haru had the same genial expression in his dark brown eyes, and he wasn't thinking much at that moment.

Yang Riku who wasn't noticed by anyone didn't talk or move. He was on the far right side of the line next to Cheng Ri. He seemed to think of something else and not even paying attention to what was happening around him. Both his hands were in his pockets which made him show scenes of carelessness.

Shi Kitsune didn't have a facial expression. Even if you tried to guess what she was thinking you just couldn't. To be honest, she wasn't thinking about anything, rather she was just analyzing her classmate.

Ji Rose was still trying to melt the ball, but she didn't have much progress. Miss Poier didn't want to stop Ji Rose by force. She thought "Why isn't she stopping, I've already warned!"

A warning should have been enough to stop her but why wasn't she stopping? There must be something motivating her to continue and ignore her teacher's orders right?

Miss Poier was thinking of other ways to stop Ji Rose. Miss Poier didn't know what could maker her stop, it clearly wasn't money that could stop her after all Ji Rose didn't care for money. Miss Poier was running out of options. Her mind was floating with ideas but she had to reject all of them because she knew they wouldn't work.

"I guess my last option is to stop her." but Miss poier knew that if she stopped Ji Rose with her own abilities Ji Rose would be punished for not listening to her superiors directions, and Miss Poier knew that punishing one of the Ji family members would only bring issues to her (Miss Poier) and the academy.

"Miss Ji, if you don't stop this now you'll be kicked out of the academy!" When the harsh words reached Ji Rose's ears she was shocked. Her family had paid a ton of money to get her into the academy and into class 101. Ji Rose knew that if she got kicked out of the academy her parents would be disappointed and her grandfather, whom she cared for deeply would be disheartened. So she slowly opened her eyes and as she opened it the spring of water started to lower.

The hot red steam started to disappear and a cool breeze was starting to take over.

When there was no water left above the ground, the students were able to see the field clearly. The long dirt field was filled with holes and cracks on the ground. The melted metal was on the floor and some crushed pieces were also lying there. It seemed to be a battlefield.

Down came the metal ball which was still extremely hot. The metal shined a bright red. As it crashed into the group everyone could see that not even half of the ball had been melted.

"1 minute," said Miss Poier in a low voice trying to make sure that only Ji Rose would hear. Even though she tried to whisper the other students could hear her clearly.

Ji Rose squeezed her teeth, pushing them against each other. She was trying hard not to show her emotions but her body language was practically yelling out what was going through her mind. The disappointment was written all over her face.

She had spent one minute trying to melt the ball yet she wasn't even able to get rid of half the ball.

She walked back to her spot in line trying to keep her face held up but it was even harder than she thought.

Su Rin could see the embarrassment in Ji Rose's dark blue eyes but she could also see the determination to become stronger.

In a supportive way, Su Rin said: "Don't worry Ji Rose you did your very best and that's what matters." Su Rin whispered to Ji Rose when she got back in line.

A quick reply was pushed to Su Rin "Shut up" yet Su Rin didn't take it to heart because she knew that Ji Rose was probably not in her best at the moment.

"Yang Riku"
