Third Person's Point of View
All exhaustion and drowsiness vanished as the disheveled Tsukishima sat at one of the guest room of Lyrica's house with his team mates standing around the room watching calmly as the Hachuko's family doctor aid his lady's friend.
"She's been sleeping here for the past few days now." The blonde girl stated, breaking the silence and catching the attention of Tsukishima who upon hearing Lyrica's admission went in to approach his fellow blonde to hear more of the information, to which seeing the action from Tsukishima continued with the talk.
"The club is aware of Makino's abusive father even though she kept it a secret. And that was one of the reasons why I often insist her to stay in for the night, creating a reason of being alone in the house." She paused, her gaze falling to the pink haired girl sleeping. "I did it for the whole three days, trying to keep her from her father."
Tears immediately welled up in the eyes of the most beautiful girl in the school. "I didn't know that my actions welled up her father's anger to coil, and when she finally admit about it, I asked her to move in with me since I live alone and my butlers and guard could protect us."
"I'm sorry..." She trailed off, voice cracking as tears continues to stream down her face. "I was asked to head straight to the Hinata Manor for a talk about the studio, I didn't think she'd go back there."
Dr. Nanjo, the Hachuko's family doctor, approached the young girl to keep her from collapsing on her knees as she wept her apologies, blaming herself of what had happened to her friend unaware of the other members of the club outside the room listening.
"It wasn't your fault." Tsukishima stated. "I'm quite thankful of you keeping her in to be honest." He added, causing the girl to stop from crying.
"I ought to take her home." Explained Tsukishima as he eyed the girl, the image of their talking flashing to his mind.
————
"Makino, you should move in to my house already." Tsukishima stated as quietly as possible in fear of offending his lover whose listening to what he's saying.
"But what if Mama come back?" The girl replied looking down to her feet.
"Then she should have done that aegis ago." He couldn't control his anger anymore clenching his fist tightly to keep himself from screaming at the fragile and shaking Makino in front of her.
The look of her face was enough to make Tsukishima sigh in defeat and pulled the girl into a tight embrace. "I just want you safe."
"I am safe. I'm with you."
"Makino he could kill you when I'm not looking!" Tsukishima protests the thought of it making him pull the girl closer to his chest.
"But I can't leave." Replied Makino, silently weeping in the arms of her lover. "It'll be alright, okay?" She assured cupping the man's face and placed her soft lips upon his.
————
"She's so stubborn!" Tsukishima grunted. "I shouldn't have agreed to that!"
The blame was paused halfway when the members of the music club came rushing in with some bags on their hand.
"We got the clothes and the other things she values." Megumi who happens to be one of the people who got in stated, placing the bags on the bedside.
"I don't know how to say this without receiving a harsh blow from some of you." Tsubasa silently started, putting some strands of her raven hair behind her ear and clenching her left elbow tightly as she noticed the gaze of everyone in her. "I asked if we could practice one more time and agreed to meet at school."
"Me and Seirei waited till 4 in the afternoon since Riku wasn't allowed to go out without Kiyoko-nee's permission, yet Makino didn't arrive." She continues to explain, lowering her head with guilt. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have requested that."
The others didn't hear some sort of sniffle nor sobs from the guilty first year, but her eyes reflects guilt and regret as her gaze fell on to her unconscious friend.
"I just wished she'd wake up soon."
————
"Kei..." The soft yet dry voice of his lover snapped Tsukishima from his train of thoughts panic and worry on him as he walked over to Makino who just happens to came to not long after the rest of the volleyball boys went to leave, leaving him with only the few members of the music club that was available for the night.
"Makino, I'm so sorry." The blonde apologized, pulling the girl to an embrace, all sorts of rude remarks from him with his usual mocking self long gone as his shaking figure held Makino's fragile body. "I should've checked on you before I left... I-- I'm really sorry."
Makino smiled, her bandaged forehead and broken arm didn't stop her from comforting assuring her boyfriend that she's okay.
"Tell me what happened." Tsukishima demanded as he stare at the girl straight in her purple hues, Makino only smiled and yet went in with her boyfriend's request.
————
Makino hummed a small tune as she walked towards the direction of the school, empty handed. She requested from Seirei if she could take care of her most beloved guitar which was a very precious to her due to it having memories with Kei.
Stopping at Coach Ukai's convinient store, the girl decided to buy her friends some snacks for the practice. With a small smile on her face, she entered the shop that is being handled by one of Coach Ukai's workers, grabbing some melon buns from the stacks and paid for it at the counter.
She first bid the worker goodbye before leaving the store but was stopped halfway by the image of the setting sun in front of her along with a disheveled man sloppily walking to the store, and yet paused when he spotted the small frail girl. Fear immediately shot through the girl's body, scrambling from the door and running back to where she first came from, which was the opposite direction of where the man stands, the shout of the man as it follows behind her made her run faster than her usual pace.
A sudden yank by her hair made the girl yelp as she felt herself being thrown to a corner hitting a wall in the process.
"You useless bitch!" Her father screamed kicking the girl by the stomach and repeating it again twice with a stronger force. "You didn't come home for days!"
Makino knew for sure it wasn't worry, but anger. Feeling her hair pulled upward by her father and a sudden contact of something cold hitting her head, red filled her left vision. Scrambling off from her father grip as he pushed her to the wall once again, the sound of her right hand's bone cracking but not as loud as the horrid screams of Makino struggling in pain. With her red view of her surroundings her movements slower than before the, Makino pushed herself up and made a sprint back to Coach Ukai's shop for help and unexpectedly met more aid than usual as she spot her beloved boyfriend from afar relieved and the urge to breakdown filling her as she ran straight to him hiding behind his back, and the rest became blurry as she consciousness was being stolen from her.
————
"I'm fine. Don't worry." Makino assured upon seeing the darkening look on Tsukishima's face whose eyes locks upon her injuries. "I got used to this."
"I won't let this happen to you again. I promise." Tsukishima stated all of a sudden with determination and promise in his eyes, dropping him from his usual naggy and snobby attitude. Oblivious of the stares he's receiving from the girl's club members and the recording of the Seirei's phone whose grinning darkly in the background.
"Right after the debut huh..." Sighed Kai upon reading the bash Makino's father is receiving from the newly found fans of the newly formed group from ALOST.
He snapped another picture of Makino smiling brightly from the embrace of Tsukishima whose face was hidden by Makino's embrace.
Singer Makino Uta of ALOST gained consciousness and is under the protection of her beloved boyfriend.
He typed in the tablet at hand, clicking the Post button with a snicker as she noticed the knowing gaze of Megumi.
"Looks like its time to please the fans again." Sighed the said girl as her eyes went back from Makino's to her phone with her boyfriend's face as the lockscreen. "I'm doomed."
