Ye Wudao was rather intrigued by the raw jade stones, and he tried to imitate the old man he had seen earlier, carefully observing the patterns on this particular stone.
However, after looking at it for a long time, Ye Wudao still couldn't figure it out, which made him sigh inwardly. How great it would've been if he had some sort of x-ray vision. But that was wishful thinking, for it was an impossible thing.
Among the Six Divine Powers of Buddhism, there is the Heavenly Vision, but it isn't used for seeing through things, and the Micro-Vision Technique can be seen as a sort of x-ray vision. The premise, though, is that you must find a way to channel your inner qi into it.
After all, stones are not like human bodies; they don't have meridians to carry inner qi. If Ye Wudao forced his inner qi into the stone, the only result would be the stone shattering to pieces.
