"Thank you for all of your help, Lee. We were a little worried since you suddenly went away yesterday. We just wanted you to take things easy today like maybe just talking with Marci instead of helping us with the tasks. They are all almost done anyway."

Emma gave Alana a smile. "Working allows me to relax. Don't worry about it."

Their concern about her was really surprising. She finally realized that her classmates really liked her and cared about her.

It felt so good to experience this feeling again. She often missed her friends from the earth. She didn't have friends here in Akkadia, aside from her husband and Xion.
