"That's really impressive of him, Alana. But so are you for knowing how to use the sign language." Emma smiled and complimented her friend. "You didn't have to learn it, but you still did."

"It's because my brother kind of bugs me to do it." Alana scratched her cheek.

"That means he's looking out for you, right?" Miri suggested. "Since I'm an only child, I don't have much of an experience, but I see it that way."

Stell nodded. "Your brother sounds like a good person. I'm jealous."

Alana only laughed. "He was even the one who insisted I attend the Mage Academy in the first place. I really didn't have much hope for me growing strong that much? But as Lee said, you could make money out of trees and that's what I'm here for."

"They always say that pyromancers and electromancers are flashy, but you're right." Miri nodded. "There's a lot more applications to magic than just fights, you know? Us herbomancers are great."
