Back To School

Behind them was two Aurors, a man and a woman, both with haughty expressions on their face.

"Who are you people? Are you the ones that dropped those kids off at the Ministry?" the female Auror asked.

Edward had sent the kids there with a message attached, detailing the location of the gang's warehouse and other locations so the Ministry could deal with them; he just didn't expect them to arrive so quickly.

"Yes," Edward answered coldly, "And if you don't mind, we'll be leaving."

Edward beckoned the rest of the group and was about to set off.

"We do mind, actually," sneered the male Auror arrogantly, pointing his wand to Edward's back.

"I'm afraid you'll have to come with us," the woman stated.

A smirk creeping up on to his lips, Edward turned to face the cocky Aurors; he grabbed the man's wand and instantly turned it into ash.

Colour began to drain from his face, and the Auror called out, slightly panicked.

"Come out! Stop these vigilantes from leaving!"

Roughly fifty Aurors revealed themselves and, stepping out of the shadows, aimed their wand towards Edward.

"Not so powerful now, huh?" the Auror jeered, his confidence restored.

Edward just raised 5 fingers and looked at him, no trace of emotion on his face. He stared at the Auror forcing him to hold his breath due to the pressure; the Auror swore he could see the abyss in that void where eyes should be.

"You have 5 seconds to turn around."

"Y-you! H-how dare you threaten me!"

"4."

"My family is one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight."

"3."

"How dare a filthy vigilante ignore me!"

"2."

"Aurors! Fire at this man immediately."

"1."

Multicoloured flashes hurtled towards Edward, who just watched them arrive nonchalantly.

With a swipe of his hand, a ludicrously powerful pressure repelled all of the spells, sending them crashing into the walls, of which many exploded due to the barrage of magic. Many of the Aurors flew through the air and none of them were left standing after the swipe.

Edward walked up to the previously arrogant Auror, who was now injured due to being sent straight into a wall, and looked down at him.

"W-who are you?" the man forced out his question, coughing blood.

"I am the leader of the group behind me, 'Judgement'."

With that, the group disappeared, leaving only the Aurors to be absolutely terrified.

"You're saying that one man took out 50 Aurors alone?"

A middle-aged woman with pursed lips and a serious expression sat at the desk.

The haughty female Auror from before nodded.

"With just a casual wave?"

She nodded again, shuddering slightly at the memory of that monstrous aura.

The Head Auror, Amelia Bones, massaged her temples as she contemplated, before finally speaking.

"These people...are they part of the Light camp or Dark one?"

The female Auror furrowed her brow and tried to think about it.

"Apologies Head Auror, I couldn't get a read on any of them."

She lowered her head.

"It's fine. Right now, what's most important is making sure they don't turn into Dark Wizards. Besides, they just helped us so we can relax for now. Oh, what did you say their name was again?"

The summer holidays passed by quickly until, eventually, it was time to go back to Hogwarts. During the holidays, 'Judgement' had sorted out many more Dark Wizards and were renowned in the magical community. Also, in the holidays, Edward visited Taunton Castle, which ended up looking almost exactly like it did nearly 1000 years ago.

"It seems Saint Edward used some kind of spell or ward to make sure the building didn't erode over time," Alfred had explained.

Edward already knew this, however.

At the castle, he had made the mistake of saying, "This brings back memories," however, he had quickly recovered by saying it reminded him of Hogwarts.

The opening ceremony had finished and Edward was back in his room, watching a battered and bruised Harry and Ron unpacking their stuff.

"How was the drive up here?" Edward teased.

In response Ron just muttered curses under his breath and continued unpacking whilst Harry smiled a little.

Once they had finished, the two boys sprawled out onto their mattress, exhausted.

"Remind me to always arrive at the station early from now on," Ron moaned.

Harry nodded his head as Edward laughed at the two's expense.

"Alright, alright," Edward stopped laughing after seeing the other two's steel glare.

"Tell you what'll cheer you up: let's play Guess The Teacher."

"Did you just make that game up," a cynical Ron retorted.

"Yes."

"Then I don't want to play," Ron said as he collapsed on the bed again.

An evil smile grew on Edward's face.

"Tell you what Ron, I've been meaning to try out this new spell."

Ron's eyes widened, but before he could escape, silver spark caught him.

"Rictumsempra!"

Ron started to laugh until his sides felt like they were splitting and flailed around the bed, trying to remove the feeling of the tickling charm.

"Haha...stop...haha...I'll play..." Ron begged, while Harry sniggered smugly.

Harry held his nose and began to walk with a ridiculously serious expression, sneering as he went.

"Potter! This is wrong, that is wrong, everything is wrong," he imitated in a nasally tone.

"Come on, that's easy! It's Snape!" Ron shouted.

Harry clapped and told him he was correct.

"My turn now! I know exactly who to do," Ron said mischievously.

"Ahem," he cleared his throat.

Then, he seemed to become somebody else.

He turned his head to the other two and started strutting around, brushing his hair with his hands and wearing a cheesy smile.

"I'm so famous, look at me," Ron mocked in a fake deeper voice, "My smile can blind hawks."

Edward and Harry were on the floor laughing at Ron's absurd acting, and this fun continued on throughout the night, with the other Gryffindors eventually joining in too.
