This Vampire Learns More About the People Around Him!

"That's what happens when you mess with the boss," a males voice from in front of me, viewing me on the ground, leaning a hand out.

I hesitated when grabbing his hand. "Thanks…" I said with a cough. "But...where am I?"

"Where are you? Simple, you are at the Monster Brigade headquarters," the guy said.

"Ah, yes, the Monster Brigade headquarters… THAT DOESN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION!!!" I said, up in the guys face.

"Okay, back up, Kurosaki," he started. "Let me introduce myself. I'm Nero Lof, and I'm a werewolf."

I put my hand on Nero's shoulder. "You must've had a terrible life…"

"Nah… I bet you did, though, Ichigo." Nero said with an annoying grin.

I leapt up into the air. "Don't call me that! You don't know how long I've been made fun of for having the last name of a character from a manga series!"

"Okay, sorry man, it's just...too hilarious!" Nero said as he kept laughing at me on the ground on my hands and knees.

I quickly got up and bared my fangs. "Wanna be killed?" I said with a half joking stare.

A girl from behind laughed, "I like this new guy the boss brought in."

I turned around. "And you are?"

"Ah, yes, my name is Zanya, and I'm a zombie." Zanya said, introducing herself with a prideful grin.

"Zombie, you say?" I said with a confused look. "Is everybody a different creature in this place!?"

""Yep."" Zanya and Nero stated.

"I'm confused, though. What do we do—" I said, getting cut off to an alarm.

"Everybody. Please go to the main area. There's a dangerous situation, and we need to take care of it, now."

Everybody ran to the location they were talking about. I just followed them to a room with a big monitor on the wall. Even the man who kidnapped me was there.

"Okay everybody," the man exclaimed. "I, codename 'Scientist,' have found a phenomenon underneath the city. If we don't take care of whatever it is soon, the city will be wiped off the face of the world."

My face froze in confusion. City will be wiped out? Phenomenon? Zombies, Werewolves, maybe other creatures… What the hell is this place?

"Kurosaki," Nero tapped on my shoulder, "let me describe what is happening."

"Yeah, shoot it."

"Okay. Since you've been brought here, that means you're a creature, aka a vampire."

"Yes?"

"Well, Mr. Scientist knows exactly where these 'creatures' are, and has the ability to search for them."

"That's some anime-type power—"

"Shhh, shh…" he said putting his finger in front of his mouth. "Don't say that to the boss...he gets quite mad if you do."

"Oh," I started. "Can you tell me why I'm here, though?"

Nero looked smug with what he was about to say next, "Well, since you're here, that clearly means you're the vampire. Because of you being brought here, that also means your death has also been faked with a suicide."

"Wait...suicide…?"

"Yeah. So, you can count your past life gone."

My heart froze. "What about my little sister…?"

"I'm sure she's fine. She's probably too young to understand any of what is happening. Only that you're gone to a better place."

"Will I be able to see my family again?!"

"Maybe…maybe not…"

"Listen here you. Being vague in this situation is not the best idea." I said with animosity.

"Oh, yeah? Think you can beat a veteran?" Nero said with a glimmer of fighting spirit in his eyes.

"Calm down, gentlemen," the boss, Mr. Scientist, stated as he grabbed onto our shoulders. "We kinda have a serious problem. So, Kurosaki, if you want your family to survive, you might wanna cooperate."

I hid my fang within my mouth. "...Fine."

"That's the spirit~!"

I looked around the room, there were quite a bit of people here… Did this man kidnap them all?!

"Well, like said before, we have a danger to the city. If not taken care of it in a certain amount of time, the town goes 'boom!'."

Nobody else seemed shocked by the words that came out of his mouth. Suddenly, everybody turned around and headed for a door with a dim light. I, as well, headed for this mysterious door that appeared.

Everybody that went through the door arrived in a subway.

Quickly, I yelled, "H- how in the burning flames of Hell did that just happen?!"
