May 27 (Part 3 of 8)

Gadiel

May 27, 11:56 am, Canberra, Australia

Gadiel opened his eyes blearily, his dreams reluctant to let him go. The sun shone into his room directly onto his eyes, making him want to turn over.

But if he did, that would mean letting go of the warm body in front of him.

Gadiel slowly blinked, burying his head in Tarik's hair so that he wouldn't have to face the morning sun. His hair was soft and smelled vaguely of flowers.

Memories of last night flashed by in his mind. He felt his face grow hot as he remembered how a simple dinner of cooking for Tarik turned into a make out session on his bed, then into something more.

"I just want to forget the world for a bit," Tarik had whispered to him. "I just want to be with you. Only you."

They ended up sleeping quite late.

Gadiel didn't want to check the clock. From the way the sun was shining, he was pretty sure it was actually quite late. But all that could wait for just a little longer.
