Being A Meme Is Easier To Believe Than Actually Being Famous

Gadiel reached for his phone, only to remember that he had given it to Tarik for safekeeping. He sighed in frustration, gazing out of the taxi window.

This wasn't the first time he'd been out of the country; he'd visited America to meet his dad's side of the family when he was little. Back then, he'd been surprised at how old the buildings there were. Gadiel was used to Australia's sleeker, newer buildings. The oldest building he'd ever seen in Australia was about 200 years old or so. But in America, that was considered nothing special.

He had a feeling that was the same here in France. Here, there were buildings older than the United States. Heck, there were buildings here that were older than France itself, if he wanted to get technical about it.

The weirdest thing about all of it though, were the billboards and signs with Tarik's face on it.
