Chapter 244 The Beginning of the Opening

The previously empty fortress was now bustling with activity. The great doors that once remained tightly shut were now open, and the streets, along with the city walls and the towers, were teeming with the figures of the Followers of the Crimson Realm. Many of them still bore scars of battle, yet they seemed not to care, loudly boasting of their bravery and victory.

No wonder these Followers of the Crimson Realm were so excited. Although they were all nominally underlings of the Masquerade Ball, the secretive nature of the organization meant that there wasn't much for them to do on a daily basis. This was the first action taken by the Masquerade Ball that involved all the Followers of the Crimson Realm since its inception.
