Chapter 3: Quite Discerning

The air instantly quieted down, and everyone's gaze fell on Su Han, as if the middle-aged man was kneeling before him.

"Su Han, what are you doing!"

Suddenly, Director Liu bellowed like a madman, desperate and furious as he shouted at Su Han, "Stop talking nonsense here!"

The fact that the old man couldn't be saved was already accepted by his family; this had nothing to do with the hospital anymore. By saying this, wasn't Su Han bringing trouble to the hospital again?

Director Liu was about to explode with anger. Where did this fool come from? A guy who was clueless about the seriousness of things, causing trouble for the hospital on his very first day!

"I can save him." Su Han just looked up at Director Liu. When the old man was pushed past, Su Han had already taken a good look. The old general's Qi and blood were depleted, not just due to old age, but because of old injuries that had weakened his bodily functions. How could Su Han not see that?

"Shut up!" Director Liu snorted coldly, wishing he could kick Su Han out, gritting his teeth, "You didn't even graduate from college. What do you know about treating diseases? Stop causing trouble here!"

The two old professors were also shocked for a moment, then seeing Su Han's youthful face, they too shook their heads repeatedly.

"Young people these days really have no idea about the immensity of the sky," one old professor said, shaking his head in disdain, "You don't even know what illness the patient has, and you dare boldly claim you can save him?"

The other old professor's face showed some indignation. They, both old professors, couldn't save the man, and this young guy dared to say he could—was he implying that they were inferior to him?

"Young man, being overconfident can easily lead to disaster, you know!"

Before Su Han could say anything, Director Liu had walked over, pushing Su Han, somewhat annoyed, "Get out of here and stop making trouble for me. Who do you want to kill?"

"You want to just watch the old general die?" Su Han broke free from Director Liu and couldn't help shaking his head. He just wanted to help the old general who had served the country in his youth, but these people kept stopping him.

"Shut your mouth!" Director Liu became furiously embarrassed.

"It should be you who shuts up!" A significant figure stood up, frightening Director Liu into silence, hating Su Han to the core.

The situation was already settled, and this damn troublemaker... Oh my, he really doomed the whole hospital!

"Can you save my dad?" The middle-aged man stared intently at Su Han. At this point, he had no other options. Even the two old professors were helpless, what choice did he have?

But the Su Han in front of him was really too young, making it hard for him to believe. Could this guy really be more capable than the two old professors?

"The person I want to save, even King Yan dares not take away," Su Han slightly squinted his eyes, a radiant confidence suddenly blossoming on his face!

"What grand words!" Professor Xu snorted and flicked his hand away, staring at Su Han, "You claim you can cure him, let us old bones see for ourselves!"

He was also annoyed; having lived to such an age, he had never been so disrespected by a junior before.

The middle-aged man ignored the two old professors and took a deep breath, his eyes red as he stared at Su Han: "You must take responsibility for what you said!"

Su Han looked at him, saying nothing before suddenly turning his head, pointing at the pretty little nurse, "I need an assistant."

The pretty little nurse felt a stir in her heart, hurriedly coming over, slightly timid and also nervous. How did this involve her?

She knew who this significant figure was, definitely not someone she could afford to offend!

If Su Han were to fail, then she...

The surrounding few nurses by now were already showing a hint of sympathy in their eyes, that jerk was not only causing trouble for himself but also dragging others down with him, really too much!

Su Han's face remained calm as he looked up at the two elderly professors and said indifferently, "Senior professors, if you do not believe, you may also come in and see for yourselves."

With that, Su Han stepped inside, followed closely by a young nurse. The two elderly professors snorted coldly—by this point, how could they concede?

The middle-aged man didn't care about anything else at this stage and instructed someone to guard the outside, allowing no one else to enter, while he himself immediately followed them in.

On the sickbed, the old general's face was pale, the surrounding vital signs monitors had gradually stabilized. One could feel his breathing grow weaker, his life was clearly coming to an end.

"His qi and blood are deficient and all his organs are aged. The old general suffered many internal injuries in his youth—how could it be easy to save him?" said Professor Zhang, shaking his head and wearing an expression of regret.

"Silence!"

Suddenly, a sharp command made Professor Zhang's face turn red—had he really been scolded by Su Han?

"I'm about to begin, do not disturb me!" At this moment, Su Han seemed to transform into another person, exuding an ethereal aura.

He ordered the nurse to open up the old general's clothes and slowly raised his hand...

Just as Professor Zhang was about to burst out scolding, he felt a sudden pain in his arm. To his side, Professor Xu grabbed his arm forcefully like a cat that had its fur puffed up, almost jumping up and exclaimed, "Profound Qi Finger!"

Professor Xu's breathing became rapid, a mix of excitement and agitation, as if he had just seen some rare treasure!

His gaze fixated on Su Han, his Adam's apple bobbing, his eyes widened, and he didn't dare blink at all!

"Old Xu? What is Profound Qi Finger?" asked Professor Zhang in astonishment. Seeing Professor Xu's reaction, he couldn't help but inquire.

As Professor Xu stared at the two fingers Su Han extended, watching the faint aura circling around the fingertips, his entire being vibrated with extreme excitement!

"Profound Qi Finger, a divine medical technique of the Ancient Medical Sect, it is said that those who perfect it can even bring the dead back to life. It really is Profound Qi Finger! It truly exists!"

Su Han turned his head to look at Professor Xu and said indifferently, "You still have some discernment."

One would have thought Professor Xu would explode with rage at Su Han's comment, but contrary to expectation, he appeared as delighted as a child receiving praise.

Professor Zhang wanted to say more, but seeing that Su Han had already begun, everyone fell silent.

The middle-aged man stood there quietly, his heart filled with nervousness. Upon hearing Professor Xu's words and seeing his reaction, a new confidence seemed to spring up in his heart – perhaps this young man could really save his father.

Su Han extended a finger, with a faint aura swirling around it, he slowly moved it over the old general's body. The naked eye could see, as Su Han's finger moved, the muscles on the old general's body began to twitch!

At each joint, one could even hear the sound of bones cracking and twisting!

This mystical and miraculous sight astonished everyone present, especially Professor Xu, whose whiskers were almost curling up.

Profound Qi Finger! Profound Qi Finger!

Su Han's expression remained calm as if he was doing the most ordinary thing. After a long while, he withdrew his finger, had the nurse close the old general's clothes, and then spoke softly, "It's done."

No sooner had his words fallen than the previously stabilized line on the ECG monitor suddenly "beeped" and started throbbing violently.

"Thud!"

"Thud!"
