"Don't be cold to me again," Luo Ziling, now with a gun in his hand, pointed it at Lin Lan's head and commanded, "Whether you're angry or smiling, it's better than having no expression."

Seeing Luo Ziling pointing a gun at her, Lin Lan was stunned for a moment.

She hadn't noticed when her sidearm, usually strapped to her right waist, had been snatched by Luo Ziling, who now had it aimed at her head.

"Give me back my gun," Lin Lan growled angrily at Luo Ziling, "I've warned you before, don't take my sidearm."

"You promised me you'd teach me how to shoot," Luo Ziling tossed the gun back to Lin Lan, "You can't go back on your word."

"I never promised you," Lin Lan huffed with irritation, quickly turned her head, and pressed the accelerator, driving rapidly toward the base.
