After all the guests had dispersed, Luo Yuqing finally let go of Luo Ziling's hand.
"Where's Xiaoqing?" Luo Yuqing asked Wu Ningjing, whose face held an unusual expression.
"She left," Wu Ningjing sighed, glanced at Luo Ziling, and looked like she wanted to say something but hesitated.
"Mom, you can go back. I'll return to school with Ziling later," Luo Yuqing said as she belched rudely from drinking.
She immediately covered her mouth and then gave Luo Ziling an apologetic smile.
Wu Ningjing frowned, but before she could say anything, Luo Ziling spoke up, "Auntie Wu, it's fine. You go ahead, I'll take Yuqing back to school. I know some medicine, and I'll help her sober up later. Your concerns, I've taken them to heart. I will try to clear up the situation as soon as possible, so nobody remains in the dark. Don't worry about us; we're adults now, and we won't make any mess that we can't clean up."
Wu Ningjing looked at Luo Ziling a few times but ultimately said nothing.
