A Childish Trick

He was a cold and muscular man dressed in a black suit. His head was so big that it looked as if it was two times the size of Xu Yan's head.

His words sounded like there was no room for negotiation and sounded more like an absolute order.

Xia Xingkong slightly furrowed her thin eyebrows and looked at the other party with a confused look. "Who are you?"

The other party's facial expression was very stern while he remained silent.

Xu Yan looked to the side and saw a bunch of men walking over. The person standing at the front directly carried Xingchen bridal style. From his point of view, he could only see a tall figure with a cold demeanor carrying her away but he could not see how he looked like.

"What are you doing?"

Upon seeing that Xia Xingchen was taken away, Xu Yan panicked however he was not able to struggle out of the other party's grip. He raised his voice and coldly asked, "Who exactly are you guys? Where are you bringing Xingchen to?"

"Mr. Xu, this is not something you can ask."

"You know me?"

Xu Yan looked at him in suspicion.

The other party did not reply, only saying, "Miss Xia is our Sir's woman and Sir is only bringing her back. Both of you don't need to be too worried."

"Sir?" Xia Xingkong suspiciously looked at the bunch of people in front of her while asking, "Who exactly is your Sir?"

"Miss Xia doesn't need to know about this."

After Xia Xingchen was carried into the car, the man gave an order through the walkie talkie before turning around to leave.

Xu Yan's facial expression was already very distorted by then and refused to go back. Instead, he closely followed them.

"Xu Yan!" Xia Xingkong chased after him.

When both of them reached the door, they only saw the end of the line of cars. There were six cars and they slowly disappeared into the crowd of cars.

"Who are they?" Xu Yan furrowed his eyebrows. "To be able to make such a big scene, that person must be an influential person."

"Influential person? But that person said that Big sister is his woman and which influential person would like a woman who had a child?" Xia Xingkong tone had a hint of disdain to it. "He is so mysterious. I think even if he is an influential person, he must be someone who cannot see the light of day."

Xu Yan thought about it and his face became more and more serious and solemn.

Xia Xingkong saw that he was still dreamily looking at the direction in which the cars disappeared and felt jealous and vengeful. However, she still held his hand and acted cutely. "Alright, Xu Yan. Let's not run out of the banquet because of Xia Xingchen's problems. There are still so many guests waiting for us there! Let's go back quickly!"

Bai Yeqing personally carried Xia Xingchen in.

He had to meet a special guest today at the hotel and had just walked down the stairs when his cold and sharp eyes spotted her staggering out.

Under such circumstances, he initially wanted to ignore her. However, when he walked over and saw her, his footsteps naturally stopped.

Xia Xingchen had drunk too fast just now and felt a little dizzy. When he carried her, she could not even see him properly and her two hands hooked around his neck while she obediently lied in his arms.

After getting in the car, Bai Yeqing wanted to place her down on the couch but she refused to let go.

"Xia Xingchen?"

He called her name in a deep voice.

Her soft and gentle back had already touched the leather of the couch however her two hands were still tightly wrapped around his neck. Furthermore, his body was bent down, hence, both of their faces were strangely close.

Since they were very close, he could carefully smell the alcohol scent on her body…

"Hmm?" She heard that someone was calling her and replied with a 'Hmm' before her eyes fluttered open.

Her dreamy and dazy eyes looked at him. Suddenly, she raised her hand and her fair fingers gently touched his face.

The girl's fingers were very soft and gentle.

The heat from her fingers was just like a slight bolt of electricity passing through his forehead and it made him feel numb.

"Xia Xingchen, let go." This kind of feeling made him feel… very uncomfortable!

"Why did you make me dream that dream from five years ago?" she suddenly gently spoke.

Bai Yeqing closed his eyes.

She continued mumbling, "Do you know how I live through these past five years?"

"Let go!" said Bai Yeqing in a deep voice while grabbing the back of her head.

Xia Xingchen seemed to vent out her anger while executing her revenge on him at the same time. The bite was very strong that blood seeped out of the wound.

Bai Yeqing was angry to the maximum. His hand grabbed the back of her head and easily pulled her away.

"Are you crazy?" He grabbed her chin and looked down on her from the top.

There was still blood on her lips, staining it red. It did not look scary, instead, she even looked a little sexy and bewitching.

Xia Xingchen sat up and looked at him while still in a daze. She looked very innocent and casually said, "This is revenge."

"Revenge for what?" His voice was very deep. He slightly bent down and closed up the distance between them.

She was drunk, so she was not afraid. She raised her head and boldly took in his dangerous gaze. "Who told you to bully me all the time? Don't think that just because you are the President, I won't dare take revenge on you?"

"Your revenge is to bite me?" Bai Yeqing took a look at his neck and his blouse was still stained with the woman's lipstick. He murmured, "Why? Did I bite you like this back then?"

"You didn't bite me…" She leaned on the sofa and she seemed to recall the incident ever so seriously. "But, back then, you made me feel pain… very painful…"

Five years ago, on the first night, she felt real pain. At that time, even though she thought that she was in a dream, the pain felt very real.

Bai Yeqing bent down to look at her attentively. She did not look like she was finding trouble from him. Instead, she looked a little innocent and childish.

Then again, if she was not a kid, why would she resort to using such a childish trick like biting people to take revenge on him? Regardless of whether she was drunk or awake, she always bit him.

He bent down and raised her chin as he stared at her pretty face. He said in a soft and deep voice, "It has already been so long, why do you still remember it?"

She scoffed, "Of course, you don't remember. You are not the one in pain and the one getting bullied is not you either."

After she said her piece, she got angry and pushed him away.

He moved backward and instinctively held her wrist.

He elegantly fell onto the other chair however, due to him pulling her, Xia Xingchen almost fell onto him.

She seemed so pathetic!
