She Has A Large Honor

Yu Zenan walked to his big brother's side and only saw him placing his attention on the television news.

In the news report, Mister President stood in the middle of the crowd and everything was going according to plan now that the situation was under his control.

Yu Zeyao furrowed his brows. He did not think that Bai Yeqing was so lucky.

"Big brother, I'm asking you a question!" Yu Zenan waved his hands in front of him. "You did not tell me how special Xia Xingchen is, so I have to personally deal with her."

"You are not supposed to deal with her, you are supposed to marry her!" Yu Zeyao took the controller and switched the television off before answering his younger brother with a serious attitude.

Yu Zenan raised his brow. "She is not any rich daughter and her dad is just a mere mayor. Will you let me marry her?"

"Then, do you know who her mother is?"

"Mother? The person that you mentioned, her surname is Li… Pass me the details, I have not taken a careful look at it yet."

"That is only her stepmother. Eight years ago, Madam Lanting pleaded with me to find her daughter in Country S. I spent eight years to finally have a lead."

Yu Zenan was shocked. "Are you saying that… Xia Xingchen is Madam Lanting's daughter?"

"Indeed."

Who was Madam Lanting? She belonged to Country S but was more of an internationally famous figure. She had joined countries together and was responsible for holding many countries' military and political figures on the line.

"I didn't expect that woman to have such a family background. Was she even clear about it herself?"

"She was left in the dark, so naturally she doesn't know. I hadn't mentioned this matter to Madam Lanting yet."

"Why not?"

"I will tell her only after you marry her and she officially becomes part of the Family Yu. If not, once her identity is made public, all of the men will become your love rival, including Bai Yeqing."

Yu Zenan disapprovingly gave a hmph. "Vice-President Yu, do you really have so little trust in me? Even if all of the people in Country S become my love rivals, including Bai Yeqing, I will still have no problem in taking her down with my charisma."

His gaze stayed on her and he noted her uneasiness. Finally, she pulled a smile at Leng Fei and found an excuse for herself. "I was reading a book just now and was thirsty so I came down and poured a glass of water for myself. I didn't think that you would come back as well."

"Just leave such things for the maid to do." It was Bai Yeqing who replied to her with a tone that was neither cold nor warm. He turned his head and ordered, "Pour a glass of water for Miss Xia."

"Yes, Mister President."

The maid received the order and quickly walked to the kitchen. With that, Xia Xingchen had no reason to stay any longer.

She shyly said 'thank you' and walked back up. Compared to the rushed footsteps earlier on, her footsteps slowed down a lot.

Leng Fei and the others did not stay at President's Manor for long and quickly left.

Bai Yeqing was tired and made the maid leave before sitting in the living room alone. Without anyone by his side, he showed the pain he felt other than his tiredness.
