She's Pregnant

Not only Francesca but even Caleb noticed that Serenity had been absent-minded at work these few days as if she had a lot on her mind.

When they met in the pantry, Caleb asked, "Do you have something on your mind?"

Serenity shook her head, though he could tell how pale her face was as she carried her cup of water back to her desk, dazed.

It had already been seven or eight days, but her period had yet to come. The last time she was at South Bay, Gabriel didn't use a condom because he never brought a woman home. Serenity did not take any precautions either, even forgetting to take the morning-after pill.

Now that she thought about it, they did it when it was not during her 'safe' time.

Caleb passed her desk when he left the pantry and noticed the odd expression on Serenity's face. Something didn't feel right so Caleb leaned over and whispered, "If you don't feel well, go to the hospital."
