13. The Auctions House Business

In a certain place inside Su resident,.....Tang Yu was sitting on stone chair, across from him was an elder with beard, white and black hair could be seen with just a glance. He said politely to the old man,

"Master, my hands are fully healed, thank to you. If you didn't give me the pills and ointment, my hands, my bone structure will be deformed forever". Then he continued, as he gritted his teeth together,

"This dept I will collect it with interest", Tang Yu said gritted through his teeth.

"Don't mention it, you are my disciple, helping you is my duty as your teacher", the old man said.

"Master could you help me find out if there were any hidden expert inside Yang Resident or Liu Resident?", Tang Yu asked with respect.

The old man replied while stroking his beard," Your elder senior brother already went out to investigate this matter, he will report back later". He turned to Tang Yu and continue,

"How was the mater relating to the Su Resident? Did the the Su Family Head agreed?"

"Yes master, the family head was very please with the sect proposal", He replied then add, "Miss Su was talented, the sect wanted to recruit her, it was her honor".

This old man was Situ Renyi, an outer elder of Purple Dragon Sect. It was said that, his cultivation was at Chi manipulated 7th Level.

At night a figure sneak into the Liu Resident, he leaped over from wall to roof. His movement was swift as a panther, he gently stepped on one of the roof, looking down from high view. Although it was pretty dark, he has a special skill that allows him to smell far and accurate. In the south east of the main hall in Liu Resident, Liu Fan was checking on his system shop. There was an item card flashing with blue color, a Disguise card. This expert would become his backer for the new established department, the Auction house. The auction house could only functions, because it had a strong cultivator backing it up.

Liu Fan did not hesitate shattering the card in his hand, that he just bought from the system. He already adjusted the information on the card beforehand.

A blue light was lit up from the card, soon covering Liu Fan's body. His appearance was swiftly changing, his skin became wrinkles, his hair turn white and his aura was that an immortals man that just descend from the heaven. His voice also changed accordingly. When the change stopped, Liu Fan checked his appearance on the mirror and he muttered to himself, "Not bad".

At the same time at a corner of a building, a shadow halt his steps. His nose was twitching as it was assaulted by a strong smell.

'What? Chi explosion realm 8th level. I dare not go too close, return is priority. This fight must be avoid!', he thought.

He did not investigate much. He already prepared to leave. This was his only flaw, that prevent him from achieving great success in the sect. He could only be an outer sect disciple.

Liu Fan did not know that his test just sacred away his enemy. Then he cancelled the item card effects and prepared to sleep. He slept soundly that night.

In the Su Resident, in the main hall, the family head, Su Long asked one of his subordinate, "How is my wife, what kind of illness she suffered?". "What did you say?", Su Long was enraged. He stepped down from the chair.

Physician Pang was so scared, as he retreated three steps.

"Stop! Dad!" Su Ling voice interrupted her father. Then she signaled to physician Pang to leave quickly.

"Ling'er, when did you come back?, dad missed you so much", Su Long said as he retracted his arm. His tone was much softer and gentle toward his daughter.

Su Linger came close, as she hugged her father's arm. She said,

"I heard that mother's condition was getting worse recently, so I came back as quickly as possible".

"Yes, dad was very worried. You mother condition was not good", Su Long sighted.

"Don't be sad, lord father, there should be something we could do. I heard that brother Tang's master is well versed in medicine, I think he might help us", she said.

"Really?, good daughter go, and arrange a meeting with him". Su Long said excitedly.

Situ Renyi was discussing with Su Long about the cure. He said,

"We need Calming grass, its smoke was benefits greatly if Madam inhale daily. The higher grade herbs are the more effective will be. We also need a Green Ginseng, at least a 500years old one. It was needed to be refined and brew as medicinal soup".

At this moment, Situ Renyi paused and continued,

"However, where could there be a 500years old Green Ginseng". Even an expert went to explore the unknown land or deep in forest, the chance encountering them was slim. This involved one luck and strength to survive the fierce beast guarding the herb. On the other hand a 100 years old Green Ginseng was more practical, as it was sometime available at the market.

"Lord father, please save lord mother", Su Linger plead after hearing this. Then she turned to Tang Yu and asked,

"Brother Tang, is there any Green Ginseng available at the black market?"

"Sister, I already sent out people to investigate, there should be news sooner", Tang Yu replied.

"Xioa Yu, there won't be a problem with money, just go and find a Green Ginseng, 100 years is also better than nothing, if we could delay your aunt illness, there would be chance in the future's. Su Long said expectedly.

"Yes, uncle I won't let you down!". Tang Yu said.

Suddenly, one of Tang Yu subordinates walked in, he knelt down and reported.

"Old master, young master, young miss, I heard that Mist Medicinal drugstore of Yang family, planed to open their auction house in three days. Three days later, in front of a new building, red cloth was removed from the wooden plague. It read " The Mystic Auction House".

With a grand ceremony, everyone one was excited. There were many guess came in for celebrating.

At the same day, the first herbal auction in Red River City was hold.

Yang Baiting was elated, but anxious at the same time. Her movement was rigid like a wood, as she wore a revealing outfits. A short red dress and her chest was half exposed. However this was not her first time trying this outfit that Liu Fan especially prepared for her. And her mood was not that bad when thinking about her efforts finally came to life. Her very own business was about to begin.

Today she was the auction girl on stage. She wore red dress, her hair was tied in a bun, decorated with sparrow hair pin. Her skin was smooth and fair, accompany by a narrow Phoenix eyebrows, her cheeks was rosy with plum red lips. Her beauty was like a fairy descend to the mortal world.

Her foot steps were steady and not fast, as she walked on the stage. Then she loudly announced the official opening of the auction, "Welcome to Mystic Auction house, my name is Yang Baiting will be your host for this occasion". Her voice was spirited and cleared. Then the auction proceed.

On the stage, Baiting uncovered the first item then said in clear tone, "First item, a 500 years Black Steel Tree Root. In the book mentioned that, this kind of tree root was sturdy as steel , it could be use as spear body, axe or bow".

Bating paused, as the commotion erupted. Then she continued in a provocative voice,

"The bid started from one gold tale!, if you want, bid now, if you don't have money just stay silent". Then the auction continued.

"One gold tale!", a burly man with spear on his back called out.

"Tsu! Gu Chen, with only little money on hand, you dare called out to bid?", a skinny guy said laughingly.

The burly looked up the floor find the source of the tone. Then he retorted,

"Zhang Yan!, the auction just started, I called out for the bid because I want this item, if you don't bid, just shut your mouth".

The skinny guy then said, "Alright, although I don't need it, I won't let you have it!", then his subordinate called out, "Five gold tales". It was cleared that Zhang Yan knew the limit of Gu Chen.

"You!?", Gu Chen was enraged.

"You what? if you don't have money just scrammed just like the lovely girl said". Zhang Yan laughed.

'I just say stay silent not scram, you idiot!' Baiting said in her mind.

Looking at the scenes, these two must have had history with each other.

Gu Chen could only stayed silent at this moment, waiting for a moment to mock Zhang Yan. In his mind, he had stabbed Zhang Yan thousand time already. The facts was that, he really needed this tree root to repair his damaged spear. Without the spear how could he go to explore the unknown land. Not goings on an adventure, it mean he has no money for living.

Liu Fan who sat on a VIP section of the auction house turned to Yang Gu and asked, "Who is that Gu Chen?".

Grandpa Yang thoughts a moment then he answered,

"He was a an honest person, also a well-known treasure hunter. He use spear as his weapon, I heard his spear was damaged by a fierce beast recently. He hate Zhang family young master, Zhang Yan. A rumor said that his sister was raped and killed by Zhang Yan in the past. Zhang Family used its resource and influence as one of big four family in town to avoid the crime.

"I see", Liu Fan nodded. Then he commanded, "Grandpa, prepare a 1000years old Tree Root as a gift to Gu Chen, I need to befriend him".

Yang Gu was stunned, he was not used to Liu Fan's way of work yet. 'Do you really need to be that blunt and prodigy, just to befriend someone? Do you think, a one thousand year Black Steel Tree root was really a normal tree root?'. He thought.

The first item was finally sold to Zhang Yan, as no one dare to compete with him. Further more the price was already high at its peak.

Baiting, smiled. Her business was functional.

Everyone was captivated by her smile, an applause was heard, as flattery began court the girl on the stage.

Wang Hu was tasked to patrol the ground floor. He would take a glimpse at Baiting on the stage, as he was walking. He was so enraged, as everyone looked at his goddess. These people look like a Big bad wolf that preys on his goddess. But he could only endure as, he could not confess his love at all. 'He could only wait for a perfect opportunity later to say that he love her', he steel up his heart .

The Second item was soon brought out, a 600 years Green Ginseng. It is said that, it could improve blood circulation, had calming effect, able to treat insomnia and reduces stress. It just need to be refined by an experts in medication skill. Then it could be cut into pieces and mix with tea leaves. They just have to drink it everyday for treatment.
