Angel's Love

It was already past midnight when Azrael and Gabriel decided to go out and find the reason for the crisis that's been happening with the women in their city.

They are about to go outside when they see Mirai walking through their home.

Mirai looked very sad and was not her usual self, always cheerful and smiling at them.

"Hey Mirai, what happened? Why are you looking so sad? Are you OK?" Azrael asked.

Mirai just nods at them and slowly walks through her room.

Gabriel: "What happened, Azrael? She doesn't look hurt, but I think she's not feeling OK."

Azrael: "I have no idea, Gabriel. But I can see she has pain from the inside, not on the outside."

Azrael and Gabriel get back inside the house and wait for Mirai to talk with them.

They also don't want to bother Mirai because they don't know what's going on in her mind, and they just think that she might need some time and privacy for a moment.

Upon waiting for Mirai to talk with them. They didn't notice that they had already fallen asleep.

Gabriel returned to his own house and told Azrael to check if Mirai was already OK.

After Gabriel has left their house, Azrael goes upstairs to check on Mirai.

He knocks on her door and calls for her name. "Mirai? Are you OK now? If you have any problems going through your mind, please tell me, and I'll do my best to help you."

Azrael was about to leave when he heard the Mirai open the door of her room.

He saw Mirai's face was still lonely, and Mirai invited him to enter her room.

Azrael: "Mirai, why are you so sad? What's going on?"

Mirai: "I .. I.. I'm sorry."

Azrael: "Why are you saying sorry? I can't understand."

Mirai: "Last night, I killed a boy."

Azrael: "Huh?? What did you say?"

Mirai: "I killed a boy with my own hands. And I'm very sorry."

Mirai started crying, and Azrael was very concerned with her.

Azrael: "tell me what happened. Is it an accident? Because I know that you will not be going to do that without any reason."

Mirai: "The boy I killed last night was an Incubus."

Azrael: "What??? So, you've encountered the Incubus terrifying the women in this city?"

Mirai: "Yes. He tried to get me and make me one of his victims, so I fought with him. At first, I thought it was just a usual demon trying to devour a human soul, but when I'm fighting with him, it feels like I'm fighting with a child who doesn't know about combat.

Then I finished him with my dagger and he suddenly it turns out to be a human. A small boy who was just deceived by a demon."

Mirai continuously cries at that moment, and Azrael embraces her.

"Please don't blame yourself for what happened. You just did what needs to be done." Azrael said to calm her down.

Mirai stops crying, and she feels comfortable within the arms of Azrael.

She held Azrael very tight at that moment, and all the pain in her heart slowly faded.

She looks at Azrael's face, and her heartbeat starts to become faster than usual.

She can't explain the emotions that she feels at that moment. Her face was red, and she felt safe and warm while Azrael embraced her.

Azrael: "Mirai. You look calm now. Are you okay?"

Mirai: "Yes, Az, thank you for comforting me."

Then suddenly, Azrael saw that Mirai was wearing only a sleeveless shirt and shorts because they were inside her room.

It was the first time he saw Mirai in that outfit; He was stunned by Mirai's beauty while he was currently hugging her.

Mirai's skin was white and flawless, and her body was in good shape.

They both feel embarrassed when they realize they have been looking at each other for a couple of seconds.

Azrael: "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that for too long. I just wanted to help you calm down."

Mirai: "n-no its o-o-kay no problem. Thank you…. Az."

Azrael: "I think you're OK now. I will prepare some coffee for you."

Azrael goes out of Mira's room and goes downstairs to get some coffee for her.

But Mirai is still in her room, lying on her bed, and feeling pleased.

Her heart was beating fast, and she kept on thinking about Azrael.

Mirai was a cold-blooded assassin before when she was still in heaven, and her task was only to kill demons and obey orders from the Archangel of death. That is why she doesn't know anything about what is happening to her right now. This kind of thing is unknown to her.

She is starting to like Azrael on a different level, not just as a servant but as a thing called LOVE.
