01- The Young Master Huang

Huang QinXing woke up early today, she usually woke up past 6 but today she wanted to eat some roasted chicken because of what she craved yesterday's night.

The servants of Liu Household has woken up by 5, so of course after Huang QinXing washed her face and goes to the kitchen area, she was greeted by the servants with surprised look. The servants is quite surprised by the arrival of Young Master Huang.

"Young Master Huang, this humble servant, Ci Xi wants to help you if something wrong." Huang QinXing smiled sweetly at Xiao Cici, she has known Ci Xi for 5 years now, who knows how many times Hung QinXing has asked her to call her by her name because she already consider Ci Xi as her friend.

"Ci er ah, nothing. I just want to eat a roasted chicken that's why I'm here to cook it" when Huang QinXing said that, Ci Xi's face is more relieved because she thought she has made mistakes. "Then let me make some for you Young Master Huang". Huang QinXing then patted Ci Xi's head and shakes her head " No no no, Ci er ah, I want to make it."

The other servants upon hearing this got their face becoming pale and rushed to HuangQinXing's side. "Young Master Huang, you don't need to dirty your hands and clothes, we will make it for you. What if Old Madam heard this? She will punish us."

Huang QinXing is not shocked about how protective her grandmother to her… grandchildren. But then she got an idea. "Hmm, I see… then I will help you roasted it!" smiling at the servants in front of her and then at Ci er "with that, Grandmother will not punish you all".

The servants is quite afraid but then Ci Xi began to break the ice and make breakfast for Liu Household already. The servants liked how Huang QinXing brightens their boring every morning routine and have fun there.

Huang QinXing, is the oldest daughter of Huang Household, the Liu's Old Madam granddaughter from her fourth child and is her only daughter. Huang QinXing has a sister and brother their name is Huang Bei Li and Huang Chen Shen. Their relationship between siblings is neither good nor bad, they acted like a stranger because of Huang Household has collapsed.

Their siblings acted like they own their grandmother's everything, from house and servants. The servants in Liu Manor never liked them anyway, some are ignoring what they want and more loyal to Huang QinXing, even though Huang QinXing never asked them to serve her. After the Huang Household collapsed, the Huang children has lived in Liu Household. Knowing how she is not a master of Liu Household, Huang QinXing always do everything by herself.

She is quite unbelievable because she is not like a girl at all, she behaves like a man even when she lived in Huang Manor in the past, their parents don't care at all, they liked how Huang QinXing almost never asked them anything not like her younger siblings.

Huang QinXing always wearing man clothes, she even cut her hair short like a commoner man and no nobleman has ever had short hair. The thought of her short hair is ridiculous indeed, but with her face and charms, she has becoming a good-looking nobleman.

Even her grandmother thought she is ridiculous but now she just let her be because Huang QinXing has become a talk in town for a while. "The Young Master Huang" every single person in Liu Manor knows that she is a girl but she has this aura who makes everyone thinks she is better called Young Master than Young Miss. Even her cousins, doesn't mind at all.

The boys cousin like how Huang QinXing talk and care for them. While the girls cousin admire her because of her strength and her kindness. Her cousins know that Huang QinXing is kind to everyone, even with her sternly voice towards her younger siblings is to make them have self-awareness than angry at them.

Old Madam Liu has four children, the oldest son Liu Chun Su has 2 sons, Liu Ba Han and Liu Da Han. The second son Liu Kun Su has 3 daughters, Liu Arwen, Liu Chensi, and Liu Chansa. The third son is Liu Long Su has 1 daughter and 2 sons, Liu Wen Ai, Liu Wen Bai and Liu Wen Di. And the fourth child is her mom, Liu An Kai who has married off to her father Huang Gong Shong. But now both parents has gone and now is only her and her siblings in Huang Household. The Huang Manor has been sold by her parents and ran away leaving them behind. Huang QinXing was 15 years old.

Usually Liu Household always got invited by the Tang Household for tea party in their manor, but she never go with them, Huang QinXing doesn't like how party is divided by gender, ladies with ladies and men with men. Separated by a bamboo board.

But today is different, 2 months again, is Huang QinXing 20th birthday. Her grandmother has told her personally to go and socialize with people in Tang Household, she knows that Tang household's madam is the sister of now Empress which makes Tang Household is the Emperor's in-law. Everyone would pay to make a connection to Tang household. But Huang QinXing doesn't care at all.

"Qin ah, grandmother wants you to go to Tang Manor's party tomorrow, can you please go? 2 months again it will be your 20th birthday. The Tang's Madam has always talk about why you never come."

"….But grandmother I don't like it"

"sigh… you don't need to go to the ladies quarter, you can go with Ba Han in men quarter, nobody can recognize you after all. Even this old one has think that you are her grandson not granddaughter already" The Old Madam sighed telling her granddaughter that.

"Really!? Then I will go! Hahahaha!" Huang QinXing never believed it how easy it was her grandmother way to think.

She never liked inner's affair, she knows that her grandmother has talking about engagement for her siblings but never her. Huang XinShing thinks her grandmother has given up already. Thank God.

And then tomorrow has come.

Today is the day.

Liu's Main Manor, usually they take a breakfast here together.

" Qin, you will go to Tang's Manor right?" Third uncle asked Huang QinXing.

Huang QinXing doesn't look and answer "Yes, I will, Third Uncle. Cousin BaHan will also go too. '' Old Madam then talk " It's okay, she will behave good, she never made problems after all not like your three as a child in the past". The uncles then look away getting embarrassed by their mother old story.

And then at noon, the family depart from the house to Tang's manor. Old Madam and her in-law also Huang QinXing's female cousins takes the carriages, while Ba Han and Huang QinXing each ride a horse and having a contest which one is the fastest.

"Ba Han you think you can beat me?" Huang QinXing mocked Ba Han while looking at him.

"Who knows? I might win today?" Ba Han welcomed the mock.

"Let's see then!" Huang QinXing then speed up her house and then Ba Han do the same behind.

Hearing how her grandchildren are getting along is good but their crazy idea always makes her getting a headache at her age. Old Madam Liu only can shakes her head in the carriage while Huang QinXing's female cousins giggle.

From Liu Manor to Tang Manor is around an hour trip. So, with the ladies in the carriage and Huang QinXing and BaHan on horse they are faster, and now they stopped at the city while waiting for the ladies carriage.

BaHan always goes to the bookstore in the city, BaHan likes how much knowledge he can get while reading a traveler's journey and anything related to survival. The second he likes mathematics and arithmetic, he knows he cannot beat his cousin in many things, but he knows that his cousin is not good at mathematics. More precisely she is bad at it.

While BaHan in book store, Huang QinXing is on the street eating a baozi. And looking at a man who is a bit suspicious cross her. She keeps looking until she saw a lady in womanly cloak with her big purse on her waist. "What a stupid girl, really " QinXing said.

After she said that the man then ran and grabbed the girl's purse. With reflexes Huang QinXing ran too pursuing that man who ran away without seeing his back. While the girl's panicking don't know what to do, well Huang QinXing will let that girl mind her own body then.

The man ran to an alley and then stopped. Thinking that he got away.

"Finally… A big fish! " he said with a good enthusiasm.

"Hmmm… Fish? What fish you got there? "

"Wh-who are you!? " and now the man start panicking and slowly move behind, without knowing behind his back is a big wall that normally people can't get through.

"Me? ...nice question… Can you give me back the purse? "

"....No! " the man shouts. Huang QinXing don't like his answer truly. And then Huang QinXing starts to move forward and get him to see that she will punch him from her left hand while actually she punches him from ler right hand.

The man gulped and then down eventually. Grabbing the purse, Huang QinXing walk slowly from the alley and then walk towards the girl who is still in that place exactly not moving.

Seeing her like that, Huang QinXing can't help but laugh. "Oi, what are you doing? ", the girl startled seeing Huang QinXing has taken her purse back. "A-Ah! Thank you very much! " she said. "No problem... Say, are you stupid or what? To put your big purse on your waist, of course people will try to snatch that."

The girl didn't know what to do, and then suddenly someone is yelling on the street. " Young Miss Ling!!! Young Miss Lin!!! " a maid and several escorts come yelling. "Xiao Chan! " Oh, this girl is a noble after all. "Young Miss Ling! I finally caught you! ". The maid comes while panting tirelessly. "Sorry, Xiao Chan, I got carried away… " the maid can't help but smile seeing her young miss realize her fault. "And who is this young mister?".

"He helps me getting back my purse while it almost got snatched by a thief. ". The girl finally release her hoodie and showing her face to Huang QinXing, QinXing can say that this girl is around 16-17 and quite pretty too.

"Ah, it was nothing, i will go then. Be careful from now. " Huang QinXing rushed when the Ling girl trying to tell her something. She goes back to the stable where her horse and her cousin had been waiting for her.

Upon waiting in front of city's gate for 15 minutes, finally the ladies carriage shows up.

"Here they are! " Ba Han pointed.

"So long…. " QinXing yawns.

And after 30 minutes finally they are in front of Tang's Manor main door.
