He stood up and looked at his surroundings and found that the kids were already awake as they played with their new 'pets'. He walked towards the closet kid who was holding a snake and rubbed his head "You excited for today?"

The young boy nodded "Yes sir, I love taking a bath like we did last time. The thing is that this time it will be better since we have Scales with us."

Marco gave a small laugh as he looked at the snake "Did you name it?"

The kids nodded and stood straight showing that he was proud of it, Marco ruffled the kids head again and smiled "It suits him haha, I like it. Now make sure that you also help everyone else with their preparations."

He began to make his way towards Alex "Captain I would like to know if you could take me to the village today."

Alex turned around and nodded "Of course Sir, I know that I have no right but may I know what business you want to attend to?"

Marco sighed "Alex there is no need to belittle yourself in front of me I already told you just act as if I were like any other friend of yours."

The captain looked at his king and shook his head "I can't your majesty if I do then it might slip away from my mouth once we develop our kingdom again. I don't want to create any friction between you and the nobles."

When he heard the captain Marco couldn't help but burst on laughter "The nobles? Who gives a rats behind about them. For me, you guys are the only family that I have, anyway the thing I wanted to do was go to the town blacksmith and get myself a weapon."

As soon as Alex heard Marco his facial expression changed until it showed pure curiosity "Sir, what kind of weapon are you looking for?"

He gave the captain a shrug "Well the one that I have in mind will cost too much so, for now, I want to get myself a normal Naginata."

Alex began looking at Marco and then zoned off and deep thought until he nodded "Yeah at your current strength it would be better for you to have some more range in your attacks. The thing I'm wondering is what weapon you would want if you actually had the money?"

Marco gave a smile "If I could get the weapon I wanted, then I would get a double-bladed Naginata that has blades on both ends."

The captain nodded but had a confused expression, Marco saw it and asked: "What's up Alex is there anything wrong?"

Alex shook his head "No everything is fine it's just that now that I think about it I haven't ever seen a Naginata like the one you mentioned before."

This time it was Marco's turn to get confused "Why it sounds like a good idea when facing multiple people at once."

The captain nodded "Yes it does, the weakness is that it's effectiveness severely decreases the efficiency of the weapon when your enemy is wearing armor. There is also the fact that many armies try to keep things traditional, the only reason that they would change the weapons of a unit is if they were easy to be made and held fewer weaknesses."

Marco nodded and looked at the captain "We can go after coming back from the lake."

"As you wish sir"

He turned around and began to meditate while the group finished getting ready. They were able to make it to the lake without any problems. When they arrived the same groups began to take their turns. While Marco was waiting he decided that it would be better if they left the walls hidden close by that way next time they came they could have another set which would allow them to finish faster."

Once they were back at camp he had the kids and Lora make the wall while he and Alex went to the town.

When they arrived at the town the captain led him to a small brick building when they both walked in they found a woman in her 30s working on what seemed to be a frying pan. They waited and looked around at some of the weapons that she had hanging until she stopped hammering the metal to talk "Excuse me, my friend would like to know if he could buy a weapon from you."

She turned around and stared at Alex who had just spoken and then she looked at Marco "You're telling me that this bag of bones wants a weapon."

Ding 🤖 "Ouch, that has to hurt."

He took a deep breath and nodded "This bag of bones wants to survive and help his friends, it's better to start late than never right?"

When the woman heard his answer she began laughing "That's right kid, looks like you have some fire in you haha. Alright, then what weapon are you thinking about buying?"

"Before that, I was wondering if you could tell me how much you would charge me to make a Naginata with blades on both ends?"

The woman looked at him and quickly began to think "Well a normal Naginata would cost about 6 silver if you give me 10 silver and that should do it."

Max began to weigh his options and in the end, nodded "Do you promise me the weapon will be good quality?"

She smiled at him and shrugged "All I can do is promise that it'll be the best I can make."

Ding 🤖 "Buddy just freakin charm her and that way we can get all the things you want."

"(( Hey what happened with you telling me to be a good leader, now you telling me to take advantage of women.))"

Ding 🤖 "No I never said that you wouldn't pay her the money later on, look it's not like I want you to do something like this either but unless you have realized it, If this was a game then right now you would be in hell mode. We need you to get stronger a lot faster than you've been doing."

He nodded and turned around towards Alex "Do you have 3 silver?"

The captain looked at him in surprise but nodded and took out the 3 silver coins, Marco took it and brought out the 7 silver that he had hidden away. When Alex saw the money his facial expression changed.

The blacksmith took the money and smiled "I should be done in about a week so come back then okay."

They both nodded and made their way back to camp when they were surrounded by trees he stopped and turned to the captain "Alex that money that you saw, I didn't have it the whole time."

Alex stopped and turned around with a troubled expression on his face "Sir if that's what you say then I will believe you."

He looked at the captain and sighed he brought out his hand

The money appeared in his hand out of thin air. He looked around to find Alex with a startled expression on his face. Max had the urge to laugh but stopped himself "Since I woke up I've been able to do this, the amount of money that I can make is limited though."

Alex looked at Marco's eyes with a serious gaze "Your majesty no one other than the 5 of us should know this. If anyone else finds out they will try harder to catch you and study your magic."

He nodded and got another glimpse of Alex's face which contained guilt. Marco gave a small laugh and patted the captains back "Don't worry about it, I would also think that I had been hiding money as you guys worked so hard the whole time."

Alex nodded and together they headed back to camp.
