"My dad has set forth a condition to get married to his friends son in Italy! otherwise he vowed to destroy my design studio "said Rachel,sadness evident on her face. She thought about her studio. She has her own fashion label which she started from scratch,now she is the owner of the famous label 'RC' . A lot of top socialites just wait for her upcoming collection.


"What? But haven't you told your dad about Brian?" inquired Carol. 


"I did.. he refused to meet him.. you already know that he is from a middle class family and my dad will never agree to this marriage." sigh Rachel.


"I am thinking off going to meet my dad in Italy and also take Brian with me. But you are my support system,I cant do this without you.. I need you there,to help convince dad. He believes you."Rachel made a cute  puppy face .


Well she knew that Carol is super busy in attending her clients .She never compromises with her work.But she also knew that Carol really values their relationship.After all they have stood together through thick and thin for almost 12 years now.


"hmm.."Carol let out a long sigh. She looked at Rachel for some minute.


"What? But what about your patients?" Rachel was shocked. Well she knew her bestie will never say no to her,but she didn't expect her to agree so easily.


"I think it is time for me to take a holiday" Carol face fell. Even Rachel didn't know what to say. She knew how her friend had suffered in the past, how difficult it was for her to create her name and how hard she worked for it. She was even hospitalized for some days due to excessive exhaustion of her body.


"Beside right now I don't have a lot of clients..I can give them some charts to follow their health schedule.. my assistant can take care of the rest.."she smiled sweetly.


A big grin was already visible on the face of Rachel.


She jumped and sat down on the lap of Carol ,side hugging her and planting big kisses across her cheeks.


"Eww..Babes..Move.You are so heavy."pushing her off from her lap, Carol replied to her dramatic friend.


"What?Heavy? I already lost 68 pounds thanks to your diet plans and regular exercise!"Rachel made a face.


Though Rachel had always been beautiful,but due to a past trauma ,she had always been binge eating, resulting in her gaining a lot of weight over the year. 


Finally, when one day she broke down due to some bullies always teasing her about her weight, she agreed to Carol 's therapy and made up her mind to shed those extra pounds.After her regular course,she gradually lost weight and her features improved . She now had blond hair up till her shoulders and a slender figure till 5'8 . Her bright big hazel eyes were envied by many women,tall nose,red lips and a light skin with a healthy tan. Her face was really cute when she smiled. She also had many suitors,but due to being bullied for her weight, she had a bit of confidence issues on which she was still working on,the main reason why she doesn't disclose her identity behind RC.


"But are you sure about Brian?"spoke Carol after some thought.


"I don't know.. there is something that had always made me uncomfortable about him".


"Babe.Trust me.He is the sweetest guy on earth.He is the one for me.. "


"hmm..I hope so." Carol pursed her lips.


Afterwards the topic shifted to some light conversations and about their trip to Italy. Finally realizing that it was getting late,they decided to end up in Carol's apartment as it was near the club.
