Tuesday the next day. Alan heads to school. He notices everyone turn in his direction when he approaches the entrance. He tries to keep calm. He notices his veins start turning black. He puts them in his pocket hoping no one noticed. He walks into school. When he comes into first period no one asks why he left. Everything goes by relatively smooth until nutrition. Alan takes his hands out of his pockets. His veins are still black.
Alan: What!?
Alan turns on his phone and opens the camera, he looks at himself on the screen.
He notices his eyes. They turned yellow.
Alan: What!? How long have they been like that!?
He pulls out some sunglasses and puts them on. He notices Adam and a couple more of his friends approaching him.
Alan: Great! Just what I needed! Some pests to come and bother me.
Alan starts walking in the other direction.
Adam: Wait!
Alan starts running. Just then the bell rings for the next period.
Alan: Wow! Ok then.
Again everything goes relatively smooth until 4th period. Alan's in the locker room changing into his PE clothes. He walks out. The PE teacher starts taking attendance. When the teacher/ Aka MR. Smith, see's Alan he hesitates for a few seconds then continues.
Alan: ...
For PE they were going to the track. The track they have at the school goes around a football feid, so its pretty big. Everyone walks out to the track. Everyone picks if they want to do laps or exercise with the Mr. Smith. Alan picks laps. He does a few laps. He then opens a speedometer app he download on his phone.
Alan: Hmm... last time I did 18 mph. But that was 2 months ago. Let's see if I could beat that.
Alan starts to pick up speed, he starts jogging, then running. He looks over at his phone. It says 14 mph.
Alan: hmm...
Alan starts running a bit faster. He looks again it says 16, then 17 then 18.
Alan: Come on
He starts running really fast. He gets a quick glance. It says 20 mph.
Alan: Nice, let's see if I could be even faster.
He tries to run even faster. He looks, it says 25 mph. It starts topping there.
Alan: Hmm... Faster!
Alan's tries to go faster. It still says 25 mph. Then he tries a little harder. He notices his veins getting dark. He ignores it. The speed starts increasing slowly. Then he sees that his veins are fully black. He looks at his phone. It says 30 mph. He tries to go faster. He looks again. It says 35 mph.
Alan: Yes! I did it!
Alan then notices he's starting to feel like he's loosing balance.
Alan: Ahhh!!! No!
He tries to stop before he falls, but fails. He hits the ground. He slides at least 10 to 15 feet before stopping.
Alan: Aghhh! F*ck!
Alan has scratches all over his arms and on his right leg. He is bleeding from a big scratch on his knee. Everyone saw what happened and starts coming to him. Just then Alan remembers he's at school.
Alan: Oh no!
Alan tries to get up but falls back to the ground.
The Mr. Smith comes up to him. He says, " Wow, you got cut real bad" Alan cleary annoyed looks at him. Everyone is watching. Alan tries to get up, this time leaning against at metal fence. Alan looks at were he was laying. A small pool of blood stained the track. Alan notices everyone still watching.
Alan: What are you looking at!
Everyone starts running and getting back to what they were doing almost instantly. Mr. Smith is still there with him. Alan looks down.
Alan: Ahhh!!!
Alan sees that his veins are black. He quickly grabs his phone and jumps the small metal fence. He runs into a restroom. He looks in a mirror. His eyes are yellow again.
Alan: Aghh! no, no, no ,no, no, not here!
Alan could hear someone coming. Alan closes his eyes hoping it's just a dream. When he opens them. He notices he seems shorter then before. He looks in the mirror to see that he shifted. He is in his normal wolf form, but still has the scratches. Alan then gets his phone in his mouth and runs out. He runs out of the restroom around the building hoping no one saw him. Alan then runs behind the bleachers and goes underneath them. He tries to shift back, but it doesn't work. At this point he could only hide and hope no one finds him like that. Just then he hears someone yelling his name. He hears someone approaching. He tries to shift back again and fails again. Alan sneaks to the other side of the bleachers. He decides to make a quick dash to the other side of the track. Alan looks at at where everyone's at. They are not facing his direction. Alan bolts to the other side.
