The Letter

Jin takes the letter out of his ring, and this movement shocked Nie Li, as he thought that this ring was just a family heirloom, but it was a interspatial ring. Nie Li took the letter, and started to read it.

Hello Nie Li,

I'm pretty sure that my grandson has told you by now, why he is here in Glory City. And I'm sure you already know that some of what he told you is a lie, but it is a necessary precaution, and he will eventually tell you the whole story. But until that time comes please watch over him, as he is very....Well let's just say he's very active, as you will learn to know in the coming times. Although you don't technically know, you have been in contact with me before, I won't say when I met you. I know your character very well, and I know that it will bother you for some time, but that won't matter eventually.

I am also pretty sure that since he gave you this letter, that he told you about his soul seal, this a secret even among some members of your clan. They all can be trusted, but still be wary of everything. Another thing that you should know, is that he has a very special soul realm...His soul realm is spit in two, which means that he has to practice two different techniques. He already has one, but I can't write it down on paper....call me a cautious man, but I suspect that someone might be watching me write this letter. So if you can help him find another suitable technique I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, one last thing, HE knows your secret.

Many thanks, Old Man Li.

"Ummmmm, that was an interesting letter." mumbled Nie Li. "Well fits his style, the Old man was always weird, and no could guess his next move." said Jin as he found Nie Li's response funny. Nie Li then used a secret soul technique to ask Jin a question. "What your grandpa mean that He, and I'm guessing that's you, means you know my secret?"

"Oh that's simple. It means that I know that you were sent back in time, and that you kept all of your memeries from your previous life." replied Jin using the same soul technique.

"How do you know about that?" asked Nie Li, this time using his voice. "Well, since you were sent back in time, you sorta trigger a special phenomenon that allowed something that should have never been allowed to happen." replied Jin as he smiled with a smirk.

"Do you know what this phenomenon, is or was, and will it come here or something." asked Nie Li with a worried expression. "Well, yeah obviously I know that of course. And as for this phenomenon, let's just say that it's already here in Glory City."

Nie Li wanted to ask more question, but he know by the look on Jin's face, that he was tired of getting asked question. "So do you know about your soul realm?" asked Nie Li, trying to change the subject. "Well of course I know about it. My best friend and also teacher always gave me crap about it, but it wasn't my fault that I got this soul realm mutation." said Jin jokingly.

"Oh so you already have a teacher? What's their name if you don't mind me asking." said Nie Li "Asbjørn, is his name. And he's a dragon." said Jin half-hearthedly. Nie Li seemed to have noticed his change in mood, and decided to ask. "How long has it been since you last saw your friend."

"Well, it's been about a year, and aren't you going to ask about him being a dragon." said Jin. "Are you being serious, like you weren't using the word dragon to describe him or something?" said Nie Li kinda shocked. "Nope, He's a full blown dragon, 100%. He doesn't have any other species mixed into his bloodline. He's probably the last full blooded dragon alive, or at least in this realm." said Jin

"You must be joking with me!!!! Like you're being for real, like he's a full blooded dragon. But that must be he's at least hundrens of thousand of years old by now...He shouldn't be alive, as his life should have ended long ago." said Nie Li with excitement. "Well you are right about one thing. He should be dead by now, but he was once someone's demon spirit.....Well actually he was captured by a spiritual god and it wasn't until recently that he was set free, with the task to look after me, and teach me about everything." said Jin, as he knew this would surprise Nie Li, as it had a lot of information in just this little bit of conversation.

"So you know about spiritual gods too huh?" asked Nie Li. "Yeah and since I haven't been able to cultivate normally, I've cultivated laws instead. Time/Space, Nature, Light, Darkness, Death, Nether, Primal Chaos, and a few others." said Jin casually.

Nie Li wasn't shocked by this point as even Jin's granpa told him to expect this from him, and that there are a few people that can learn more that one law and master it. "Now although I learn these laws, I haven't grasped them completely, and for that either the Spiritual Gods of these laws die, or I kill them but that might take awhile..." luaghed Jin

"So this is what he meant when he said that you are very active..." said Nie Li

"!!!!!!!"

"That Old man said WHAT ABOUT ME!!!! I'll kick his ass when I get the chance" yelled Jin while luaghing, as even he knew that he was very active.

"Okay, so I'm pretty sure we got way off topic from earlier, what is the plan to make our soul realm higher?" asked Jin

As they walked around the market Nie Li bought some herbs and mixed it together. "Oh so even you know alchemy too?!" asked Jin "I wouldn't call myself an alchemist, but yeah I know somethings about it." said Nie Li

"You don't have to be humble, as I already know your plans now....You mixed some herbs into a paralysis potion, which works really good on horned sheep, and then we will sell the parts on the sheep for money, but that won't bring in enough money....OOOOOH I know do y'all have purple haze grass!!!" Jin asked quickly.

"Yes we have purple haze, but why you...." as Nie Li was about to continue and ask, he smack himself on the forehead. "That's a great idea. There are many different uses for purple haze grass, not just using it for insect repellant." said Nie Li.

"Wait y'all use purple haze grass as a insect repellant. What a waste..." complained Jin, almost depressed.

"Jin, you wouldn't happen to be an alchemist are you?" ask Nie Li. "My teacher would smack me if I said I was, but by this city's standards I am definitely more qualified than probably everyone in this city." claimed Jin.

Nie Li thought well that makes two of us then. "And Nie Li, I know a fellow alchemist when I see one." Damn he saw through me thought Nie Li.
