Full on Tacky

Chu Yi Chen had brought up something that hurts Gu Xiao Xiao's head. From University B to her office, it takes more than an hour by subway. Everyday, she wastes three hours on the road. To survive in City B truly wasn't easy.

"What else can I do? This is it for now." Gu Xiao Xiao leaned into the seat and looked out the window with a smile. She then said slowly, "This city is too big and there are far too many smart people. If I don't want to be left behind, I have to run constantly everyday."

Gu Xiao Xiao exhaled softly and remembered Mu Yun Fan. He was probably tired of running and that was why he gave her up.

As she chatted with Chu Yi Chen, she was getting sleepy before she knew it. By the time she woke up, the car had reached its destination.

Opening her eyes, Gu Xiao Xiao couldn't even look straight into Chu Yi Chen's eyes anymore. He had an expression was seemingly smiley but wasn't actually.

"The car is too warm so I fell asleep." Because of this awkward silence, Gu Xiao Xiao forced herself to speak. Only in hindsight did she realize it would've been better to keep silent.

"Alright, I get it." Chu Yi Chen eyed the power button of the heater and made Gu Xiao Xiao, who was already nervous, lower her head even more.

He gets what now? How strong the heater has to be for her to fall asleep?

Unbuckling, Gu Xiao Xiao straightened her clothes and prepared to bid farewell to Chu Yi Chen. However, the moment her body moved, her hand was grasped onto by Chu Yi Chen.

His silhouette very quickly crowded her. Gu Xiao Xiao watched him in a daze. As he inched in closer, her entire body helplessly clenched up.

"Xiao Xiao." Chu Yi Chen bend down even more and was now head level against Gu Xiao Xiao. He leaned by her ear and slowly said, "Don't make me wait for too long."

Gu Xiao Xiao could only breathe in the air that was full of his scent. His words made her quiver. She didn't know what he was implying and she didn't dare to ask.

A quick peck that mimicked a dragonfly dipping its feet in water landed on Gu Xiao Xiao's forehead. Chu Yi Chen let go of her hand and then opened the car door for her. Before Chu Yi Chen's gaze, Gu Xiao Xiao dashed her way back to her dorm.

Nobody was there. Chu Xiao Xi didn't return. Every year around these months, she would appear and disappear random like ea ghost. Even Gu Xiao Xiao doesn't know what she is occupied with. Li Yi Ran likely was at her boyfriend's again. As for Jin Jing… she is likely with Mu Yun Yan.

After washing up, Gu Xiao Xiao sat on her bed and took out her marriage certificate which she has hidden. She stared at the picture on there and remembered everything that's happened recently.

Maybe she should thank him. Thank his sudden appearance that day that helped her avoid falling into the hole Jin Jing and Mu Fan Yun digged her.

Remembering Chu Yi Chen made Gu Xiao Xiao feel a gush of warm air. She turned off the light and lied on her bed. She pondered for a long while and didn't even know when she fell asleep. By the time she woke up, Gu Xiao Xi had returned.

"You're awake? Get up, get breakfast with me." After hearing noises, Chu Xiao Xi turned her head and asked.

"When did you sleep last night? You have major dark circles…"

"I can't remember. These days I am busy as heck. Hurry up, I have things to this this morning." Checking out the watch on her wrist, Chu Xiao Xi rushed.

Using the fastest possible speed to get up, get washed and get dressed, Gu Xiao Xiao and Chu Xiao Xi left the dorm room together.

"Oh, isn't that Gu Xiao Xiao?!"

A stranger's voice greeted from the other side. The direction where the voices came from stood three girls. The one in the middle was Jin Jing.

"She looks full-on tacky just like her photo!"

"Don't hurt someone when they're standing right before you, haha."

Without waiting for Gu Xiao Xiao to speak a word, the girls have already commented on her style.
