Chapter 39: Devour
Hundred million may sound too much but you should know the fact the empires had armies each of them containing trillions of soldiers. Just imagine you have a hundred million soldiers but you are up against trillions of soldiers. It would be considered suicide going up against such a force with just a hundred million soldiers. Yang Feng built [Wooden small residential area] which consumed 40 timber units and 20 stone units. It would take around a day for completion. He still had to build many buildings and Yang Feng had to utilize every time he had to build a powerful country.
Yang Feng decided to hunt beasts to test something. Yang Feng grabbed his iron sword just in case and went alone to the forest. After searching for an hour he finally encountered a beast known as a white marked wolf. As the name suggests it had a white mark covering its body which made it easy to recognise. The white marked wolf was also known for its speed.
Yang Feng took out his iron swords and said "Eye of the Supreme Emperor". The wolf jumped towards Yang Feng trying to attack him but for Yang Feng, it was like the world was going in slow motion. Yang Feng slashed the wolf's stomach and killed it without any efforts. Yang Feng exclaimed "Without a doubt, this eye is very terrifying" not only was it able to slow down the movement but also increased the strength, agility and speed of Yang Feng but "I guess it is also consuming my energy every second". Yang Feng deactivated his [Eye of the Supreme Emperor] and approached towards the dead body of white marked wolf. Yang Feng checked his stats to see if there was any change.

The huge wolf was probably the leader of wolves. Yang Feng said to himself "I forget the fact the white mark wolf prefer to stay in the group".
Yang Feng wanted to escape but then the wolf leader realised and howled. The wolf started to approach the position of Yang Feng.
Yang Feng wanted to run away but then he smiled "I forgot to try one thing"
