Inside a Train, which was speeding very quickly down its course like a fired-bullet, there were many people aboard. Many of them; young aspiring students who were on a trip for foreign study and their careers; adults who were eagerly ready for travel; and families whom took up a bit of the Train's passenger seating.
However there was more to this, the train wasn't just a ordinary fuel powered train, it was rather an electric train. The train itself was powered by a magnetic connection to the rails and the electric-powered railroad.
It supposedly was a bit far advanced in its technology for the time, in which the train was powered by electricity, rather than fuel that pumped out steam.
The train was gunmetal Gray and made high-pitched vibrational zooming sounds. The sound alone could've easily given you a idea of exactly how fast the train was going.
The day was fairly young, and the sun was beginning to rise. The clouds were nonexistent and there was only the mornings ocean blue sky and a few stars that sparkled brightly through the sky at the time.
"Hey you, wake up....just what do you think you're doing!"
"Minor's aren't allowed to take trips without parental supervision, do you understand what you have done!...", The train attendant said while she began to scold a young passenger for his major-rule violation.
"Huh, what exactly are you talking about.
I don't ever recall traveling having twisted rules like this.", he said.
Apparently he was sent on a trip alone, without any parents accompanying him. Most trains had this rule, but it was his first time realizing this. The guy began to complain.
"Huh...you've gotta be kidding me. You can't be serious, we're almost there aren't we!"
The guy began to become feisty towards the train attendant. He didn't manage to get enough sleep so he could not manage to keep himself awake through the rest of the day. He then wiped his eyes, to see properly after a long sleep.
The blue-haired youths name was Liu—Liu Prevalia, and he wasn't in a good mood at the moment.
Liu was sent on a trip under family orders to move and start a new life. But the only thing that he kept finding himself was trouble. Liu wasn't the kind of guy to act out of line, but he was sleep deprived.
*We've been on this train for 2 days, why would a attendant suddenly come and scold us. Man it sure would be a bad look...I hope that all people in New Shanghai aren't like this. This isn't a very good first impression. I was honestly expecting much more from the people here so far.*
Liu leaned towards the wall.
Allowing his head to rest against the wall, he took a quick glance at the window's view. Liu was beginning to become quite upset at the moment and he became fidgety.
Liu was starting to become quite bothered by the train attendant woman. At the time she stood over them.
To make the matter much worse Liu has even noticed that a couple in front of them began to make mocks and side comments about them. Liu easily became aggravated by this, but he held it back; he wanted to avoid much trouble possible, but holding it deep inside was beginning to make him irritated.
Do those two really think it's funny! What some nerve they have to treat us with such disrespect...and this woman too, if we were back home I could easily get her fired from her job. I already hate being in dow. With such low social class filth, why did we even have to leave home anyway?
The train attendant aura was very intimidating at the moment, that she began to bite her teeth. The sight of her angsty expression could have let anyone known exactly how she felt, and what was soon going to happen next and Liu was ranting in his mind about the people.
But he wasn't rather angry towards the woman, due to his attention suddenly shifting to observing the woman's feminine features, such as her soft face, curved like body, and she also had soft creamed milky like skin and her purple like-Pluto colored eyes. And the black hat that she had on at the time read "STE" which stood for Shanghai-Train-Express.
The Shanghai Train Express was the worlds newest founded train system. It connected New Shanghai to across the entire globe, even stretching among every ocean of the North, South, East and Western zones. The Train Express was connected to a system of railways built above the ocean and could also cross into other cities, this was by far the most advanced railway of the generation.
"Brother, is everything alright...what's the matter?"
A very soft mature voice sounded from the girl who had been sitting next to her big brother, her name was Mu Prevalia.
She was asleep before the attendant woke her up, and she was very mature for a girl of her age.
She was very average, and amazingly gorgeous. She had the exact same look as her brother—their hair was dark blue, and their eyes dark purple.
Mu would often tend to color dye her hair, to avoid being the same as her brother. Unlike her brother, Mu wouldn't cut much of her hair, so she would wear it down. She liked it best that way.
Both of them did look similar but Liu was far more responsible and a loner. While Mu was on the more affectionate and sensitive side.
Mu however was far younger than her brother Liu. Mu was very intelligent and she of course had a soft spot for her brother. They were very close, but Mu was always the one to stand up for her brother, even if she had to go against her own beliefs or principles, she would do so.
"Ah, yeah everything's fine Mu don't worry about it."
Liu brushed the situation off otherwise it could have became much worse, he agreed to listen to the attendants rules; but deep inside of the woman resided a sympathy for the both siblings.
Liu finally had found himself wide awoke, he then began to take a look at the other passengers who had been calmly sitting in the train booths. Liu then took a quick glare outside of the train window, as he gazed at the far away distant land across the ocean. The train had been taking course on a track that was built high scales among the ocean.
"So that's the place, Huh.", Liu said while taking a gaze of amusement and curiosity towards the large scale of land that was far away in the distance of the train's path. The land looked to have stunningly been 350,000 acres. 350,000 acres of city, buildings, homes, restaurants and many other tourist attractions, and centers of cuisine and entertainment.
Liu was quite intrigued by the lands mass size and the large buildings. Liu was on a journey to the city across the ocean, which had finally finished construction only recently. The city had a very industrial modern look to it, it was a island like city which resides above the ocean—this aspect alone made it different from other cities in the world. And the train was speeding very quickly, the speeds must have easily exceeded 120mph.
Sitting next to Liu, his little sister Shu seemed to have been very concerned about her older brother. Shu had noticed her brother wondering off, so she touched his hand.
"Hey, big brother...I-is everything alright?"
"You just... don't seem like the same person ever since back then. I truly hope that you are okay.", Mu said while tugged down on her brothers sleeve, and looked him into the eyes.
She could sorta tell how Liu was feeling, Liu could show whether if he were sad or angry through his eye expressions.
Mu had turned and gave his sister all of his attention, she was very concerned for her brother so much, that her eye color had glowed much brighter than before. And her face had a very straightforward expression.
The dreadful memories of Liu's past trauma had in fact been taking a toll on him, but he didn't want it to show while around his sister. So he just decided to not worry much about it, and gave his sister a well thought answer.
"Huh?..."
"Well I guess you're right, but you shouldn't worry about it that much...we honestly had no choice, there was nothing else we could do."
A cold shiver went through Liu's body, which brought back dreadful memories for a brief moment. Liu could only look forward to what the future had in store for him, while on his way to begin a new chapter in his life. His older relatives thought that the children of their family were to be sent to a well developed city of industry, that they could achieve great things.
Liu and his sister had been sent to Nee Shanghai, after the recent arrangements made by his families executive agents.
Liu didn't know why but he had somewhat of an idea, it all had something do with how Liu's mother wanted both of them to start a life in a well endowed city and bring success and wealth into their family line, all through the new line of career work in China; this was unfortunately before her death.
What a great mother she was, she wanted them to live bright lives, to bring pride, honor and respect into their family name. She wanted both of them to become very well recognized leaders.
But was this outcome scheduled to happen.
Liu has no issue with this, but he did feel quite a bit of unease. Maybe the pressure was getting to his head.
"Hey brother...look outside!", Shu said while she pointed her cute fingers at the window, directing Shu the city of Central Shanghai.
"I guess it really is over the ocean, huh!", Shu nodded with a bright cheerful face.
"Yeah...that's pretty cool, it's very different from home, don't you think?", Liu said.
"Mmm...hmmmm.", Mu said while she hummed in agreement. She was still quite skeptical about the sudden move, but things back home weren't so good either.
You see, the family Liu and Mu were born into was a Royal family. But they had suddenly faced a strong lawsuit which closed down their Monopoly.
Their family members were some of the worlds wealthiest leaders, but their Mom and Dad were quite like the rest. They were always overworked 24/7, everyday, every month and every year. There had came a day in which their mother passed away, it was very unknown.
Although it was investigated, there were too many missing puzzles of her death; yet this left a big hole in Liu's heart. Him and his mother had a strong connection. There were times in which Liu and his sister never got a chance to see their either parent.
They were born with power into a family of novice and title of prestige citizenship, but the wealth wasn't passed down to them yet, and that wasn't going to be until Liu and Mu turned 18, which would be in 1 year.
In a years time, Liu and Mu would soon be able to acquire millions, and become the leaders of their family.
Liu noticed that the landscape which was far away, had suddenly began to increase in scale as the train headed in the direction.
Liu and Mu were quite amazed by the bright land which resides over the ocean. It really was a city on the ocean! Could you ever believe that! And the trains direction were bringing them towards the long stretch that was on a bridge which circled around the city, and they would soon arrive to the Train station.
"Hm...Just a little further and we'll be there. I'll be starting a new life here...maybe this is my chance." Liu thought to himself, while looking outside the window.
Liu's thoughts reminded him of something, he put his hands in his right pocket, while reaching out for a photo of his older sister.
The face wasn't so easy to make out, but Liu knew that the woman on the photo was his sister.
The train horn blowed loudly, and the train picked up even more speed suddenly. The zooming speed also picked up, and then a disaster began to occur.
The railroad of the train, began to spark with a intense blue lightning, sparks began to fly everywhere, and Lightning began to surge through the train.
All of the passenger aboard the train panicked, the families began to become worried, and the young adults also began to shake in fear while letting out fierce screams.
"Brother..what's happening!", Shu asked while her facial expression suddenly became quite shocking.
"I-I don't know!!", Liu said while he also began to panic a bit in fear. The train began to pick up even greater speeds, and the lightning surge grew stronger in which is surrounded the train through the outside.
The necklace which Liu's older sister had given him began to glow, and it began to move around as well.
"Huh...what the hell is going on. Why is this loach suddenly glowing?"
The loach began to glow even brighter, and the lightning surges began to pickup even faster! The speed had reached 80! The speed has reached 120! The speed has reached 150!
The train roared loudly, and began to lose its grip on the tracks, due to the immense speed. Liu and his sister both found themselves holding onto each other, as Liu's amulet began to vibrate with a powerful energy. Liu was easily distracted by the loach indicator that something bad was going to happen.
Liu reached towards the loach and touched it, only to be shocked by a surge of lightning. The color wasn't more like normal lightning, it was far too dark—well to be accurate, the lightning was black and it shocked Liu's neck.
"W-whaaa! No, I have to get this thing off!", Liu said while he panicked to remove the Amulet from his neck. He struggled and struggled. His sister reached out to him to ask him what was wrong.
Liu began to lose his sense as to what his sister was trying to tell him, Liu thought that he was just caught in the moment, but the amulet was even beginning to trigger his senses off.
He tried to and struggled with taking the amulet off, and then unexpectedly a much stronger surge of lightning exploded around his neck, shocking his entire body with electricity.
"Arghhh...damn it!"
"Why won't this thing fucking come off...argh! Arghhhhhh!!!!"
Liu cried aloud in agony, as his fight or flight response shut down. Liu found himself weak against this matter, he tried to resist but, that wasn't enough to break free from the powerful charge that shocked him unconscious, he then blacked out.
Liu's move to a new city had most certainly taken the wrong turn. Things which all seemed to have gone well began to fall apart.
Was this truly the end of Liu's life?
Is there anything that he could do in his power to escape this disaster. Is this where he will truly meet his end?
