All Roads Lead to Tergaron

The road to Tergaron was a short and peaceful path, at least most of the way. As you got farther down the road, it became more dangerous. The road became rocky, and the side of the road was dotted with bandits and thieves. However, if you were a part of the Rogue's Association, you were guaranteed protection. Though, it took quite a bit of money, or a lot of quests in order to gain proper membership of the association. Nonetheless, I bought a cart for 25 Tyles, and left Floria onward to Tergaron.

I spent most of the days travelling in silence, thinking to myself excitedly of what awaited me in Tergaron. However, it was when we got near the town that problems began to arise…

"Hey, kid! We gotta problem here! Some bandi-" the driver said, before stopping. I quickly got ready, and jumped out of the buggy, chain daggers in hand. In front of me stood 3 bandits, holding daggers, with the one in the middle keeping the driver at knife-point.

"H-hey! You there, give us all your money! And you're fancy cloak, too!" one of the bandits shakily said. The two that weren't holding the driver hostage charged at me with their flimsy bronze blades.

Using my chained daggers, I swiftly blocked the blades, and parried them away from me. The two bandits stumbled off to the side, as I threw one of my chain daggers into the side of the 3rd bandit. The 3rd bandit squealed in pain and let go of the driver, and I ushered the driver to go hide in the buggy.

Meanwhile, the other two bandits had regained their composure, and regrouped to take me on. They all charged at me at once, all in sync with one another, and went in for a stabbing motion.

"Lucky Kick!" I screamed, as I hit all three with my lucky kick. All of them instantly fell to the floor, and poofed into a millions tiny dust bits. There in their death lay some common greaves, and 15 Tyles. I picked up their drops and hopped back onto the buggy, the driver and I heading on our way.

After many hours of uneventful travelling, we finally arrived in the town of Tergaron. I waved the driver goodbye, and entered the town.

Tergaron was a dreary town, a dark cloud hovering over the settlement, and a slight drizzle coating the town's streets. Many walked under umbrellas, looking somber. Others wore cloaks and heavy clothing, slinking around in the shadows like rats do in the walls.

After looking around the bleak town, I found a large, overbearing building, with a large, shiny sign in front of it. On the sign, it said "Rogue's Association". I was excited to go inside, but knew I had to go to an inn first, in order to set my spawn point to this town.

I walked over to the nearest inn, and went up to the counter to ask for a room.

"May I have a room, please?" I asked the man at the counter.

"Sure thing, mate. That'll be 100 Tyles." the man replied. 100 Tyles was quite pricey, but it was worth the price. I handed the man behind the counter the 100 Tyles, and took my room key, heading to my room.

I entered the room, and put my supplies down and laid on the bed. I could feel the soft sheets on my skin, as if they were real. It felt nice, to lay on such a nice bed, but I had business to attend to, and I couldn't stay in the inn for long. I launched myself off the bed, and walked back to the Rogue Association. I swung the large, wooden doors open, and stepped inside the Rogue Association, prepared to start a long adventure.
