Surprise!!

Jimin's phone rang, which got us back to senses. It was none other than his mother.

Someone I've never seen for a long time. I missed her a lot.

"Y/n, here. Talk to her. She'd be really happy to hear from you." Jimin said.

"No. You should talk first." I said.

But he refused and gave me his phone and pushed me towards the backyard.

I attended the call.

"Hello?"

"Hi Jim....!" She stopped when she heard my voice.

"Hi, is this Mrs. Park?" I asked.

"Yeah. Can I know who this is? And what are you doing with my son's phone?"

"I'm y/n." When I said my name, she literally shouted over the phone.

"Y/N, IS IT REALLY YOU? I can't believe. What are you doing? How did you meet? Where are you now? I really missed you."

"Auntie , it is me. I met Jimin at a coffee shop. I'm with him and his group. And I work as their PA. And I really really missed you too."

"Ahh y/n. So how are you're parents? Are they doing good?"

"A-a-actually, they-they passed away in an accident." I said remembering about that moment.

"Ah y/n I'm really sorry."

"It's okay auntie. Things happen. Nothing's in our hands. And I even had a brother."

"Wah Jinjja? You should introduce him to me."

"Sure. And there's something I need to ask you." I paused for a reply. I had an idea as the members felt a bit sad.

"What is it? I'm ready to do anything." She said enthusiastically.

"..." I said.

"Sure. We would love to come."

"And auntie please don't let him know about it, please."

"Sure. I won't. Take care y/n."

"You too auntie." I said and gave it back to Jimin.

I had to call the other members parents too. I had to come up with a plan. How do I call them?

Ahhh, got it.

As Jimin finished the call and came back, he said,"she really felt happy to talk to you."

"It's been so long. I really missed her." I said and smiled.

"Okay. I have a challenge." I said.

The word 'challenge' made them excited and couldn't wait.

"What is it? What is it?" They shouted.

"I challenge you guys, not to touch your phones till tomorrow lunch time. And all the phones would be under my control." I said.

"I accept." Namjoon said.

"Me too." Yoongi said and they gave their phones to me.

"Others?" I asked looking at them.

"Till tomorrow lunch?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah. And instead of spending time in this, you'll spend time with people." As I said, everyone handed me their phones.

"Okay, I'll keep them with me in a bag." I said.

"And what about you? You get to keep your phone?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah. Cause I'm the one who conducted it. And I wouldn't use it. Cause I've got 8 friends to do something." I said and they laughed.

"Okay, I have some small work. I'll finish it and come in 20 mins." I said.

They nodded their heads.

I went into the guest room and sat down and wrote all their parents number. It actually didn't take that much time. Their phones were not locked. So it was easy.

I wrote them down and called each and everyone's parents.

"Hello. Is this..... parents?"

"I'm a friend of theirs. I actually wanted to ask you something."

".... please. I'll send transport for you guys and I'll take care of everything. You guys just need to... and please don't let them know about this. They do not know anything about it."

"This'll be the location. I hope you take care and reach safe. Thanks a lot."

This is how I asked them. It was hectic to convince some parents that I'm their friend.

I went out and saw the guys interacting with each other.

When I came forward, they stopped.

"What were you guys talking about?" I asked.

"N-nothing." They said in unison.

Looks they're planning something. I've gotta be careful about their plans.

"If you have any work, you can finish it. Then we'll do something." I said.

"I have some work. I'll take a leave now." Mia said and left.

"I too have some work. See ya later." Yoongi said and left.

"We too have some work." Jimin, Namjoon, and Jin said and went to do their stuff.

"If you need help, do call us." I said.

I was left out with Taehyung and Jungkook.

"Looks like you guys have done everything!" I said.

"Yeah. I finished it all long back." Taehyung said.

"Me too!" Jungkook followed.

"So what do we do?" I asked.

"Watch a movie?" Taehyung said.

"Okay." Me and Jungkook said in unison.

We played some random movie and watched it. It was some action film.

*after few minutes

The guys came back, finishing their work.

*ring ring

A call from my phone.

"Sorry, it's important. I've got to pick it up." I said and went before they could say anything.

"Hello miss, they are here." The guy in the phone said.

"Okay. When I tell, then bring them ok. And ask them to be quiet. No one should talk."

I said and cut the call.

I went back and said,"guys, I want you all to stay in that room for a while."

"Why?" They asked together.

"You'll get to know later. Now move fast." I led them and closed the door, not letting anyone peep out.

I called that guy again and said,"bring em now!"

I waited for few minutes and I heard footsteps coming. I opened the door before they could ring the bell.

"Shhh, everybody be quiet and take your seats." I whispered to them.

They quietly sat where they could find space.

I went to the room and told the guys to put on a blind fold.

After they've put on the blindfold, I dragged each of them and made them stand in a position, with the person opposite of them. Even Mia was included. She had no idea, nor did the others.

Mia has been staying with her grandmother, for a long time. She hardly gets to meet them.

"On the count of three, you'll open your blindfolds. 1, 2, 3!" I said and they opened.

"SURPRISE!!!!!!" They all shouted.

At first they thought it was some group of people standing there.

Then they realised it was their parents.

Yes, I called to their parents. They looked really sad, when I talked about yoongi's mother.

"Eomma, appa!!" They said and hugged them. Tears started flowing.

Their reaction was priceless. My parents came in mind to me. They were busy with their family, so I sneaked from there and went to the backyard.

I sat on the swing, and started thinking about my precious moments with my family. But I still have a brother, so l shouldn't worry. He's still family.

But I couldn't stop thinking about them. Tears gradually started pouring.

'No. I have to be strong. I shouldn't.' I said to myself, wiped my tears and leaned into the swing and looked at the blue sky.

"Y/n." I heard a voice.

I sat straight and looked, it was Jimin's mother.

"Hi auntie." I said and gave her space to sit.

She sat beside me and said,"y/n, on behalf of every parent here, I thank you, to give us an opportunity to see our kids. And what happened to your hand?" She asked.

"I hurt them by accident."

"You have to look after yourself every now and then. It's a growing age for you guys now. Health is important."

She paused for a moment and said,

"Y/n, I know how much you miss your family, at this time."

When she said, I felt sad.

She held my hand and said,"Y/n, it's fine. From your perspective, it's not wrong to be sad, but, you've got be strong. Try, day by day, even if it's a slow progress, it's fine. Y/n, I trust you. You can do it. You've passed these years without any help. You can do it now. I'll give you time to think about it. Tell me a good answer." She said and left.

She was right. I have lived these many years without anyone, then I can do it. Cause I've already done it. And most important of all, I have to be strong. I can do it. I can. I'm really lucky to have friends like this.

I got up and felt the breeze past through me. I opened my arms to feel and smiled. Smiled at everything. Smiled at the stupid me.

"Y/n!" I heard a group of voices.

I turned and saw all the guys looking confused at me at the same time, a thanking feeling.

"Hey guys! So how was the surprise?" I asked.

"Y/n, jinjja, I'll never forget this day. All thanks go to you." Namjoon said.

"Yeah. To be honest, I've never felt this happy. I'll never forget it. I don't know how to thank you." Yoongi said.

They kept thanking me.

"Guys, I haven't done something great."

"But to us, it is. Cause we rarely meet our family. But you've given us an opportunity to meet them. What do you want us to do in return?" Jin said.

"Okay. I want you guys to spend a entire, whole day, with your family." I said.

"Ask something you want." He said.

"I want this to happen." I said.

"Jinjja? Come on y/n. Just tell us." He kept asking me.

"First spend time with them. Then I'll tell." I said.

"Okay." He said.

"So, it's time for you to leave." I said.

"Where?" Taehyung asked.

"To spend a day with family."

"What about you?" Jimin asked.

"I have some work to do. So, I can't come. You guys have fun." I said.

"Seriously?!" Jimin asked.

"Come on. I'm here everyday. But they are here once in a while. And you'll have dinner out." When I said, they were really surprised.

"Come on. We can't leave you here." Jungkook said.

"I can call up my brother to come over. So no problem. I want you guys not to worry over me." I said.

"We can't leave you hurt like this." Hoseok said.

"I can look after myself. I'm grown up guys."

"Okay we'll do as you say. But take care and let us know if something happens." Jin said.

I nodded and we went in.

As I went in, I saw Jimin's mother.

I approached to her and said,"auntie, what you said was right. I can do it. I promise you that I'll never get down and always be strong, and I'll change. I'm thankful to you. You've changed me in just a few minutes. Thanks a lot." I said smiling.

"I appreciate it. And take care of yourself." She said smiling.

I felt being with my mother. All thanks to her, who changed the entire me in a fraction of second. She really is awesome.

They waved bye to me. I waved back and they left. I sat on my couch and gave a deep sigh. I laid back and rewinded what happened. And felt happy.

"Back to work." I said and got up.
