Sunset

[ACF's point of view]

There was that one single couch I really liked sitting on. I walked my way to that couch. It was a dim baby blue couch with a dim gold border. It was relaxing to my eyes. Like a cloudy day before rainfalls. A sky that was full of dim blue/greyish clouds shouted rain. Though, it shouted sit here to me.

Edwards followed me. I expected him to go to the rest of that were called idiots here, but he surprisingly did not. He even sat to the couch next to mine. We sat there silently.

Enzo and Loyal were both still standing together. I did not expect them to approach us and they so did not. Elisabeth did come a little to speak to us, but Edward aura strongly drove her off. I thought to myself, "So, even Edward? I thought only that other guy's identity of his rejected her."

I looked through the room for the first time after the day Jong Hyun was sleeping here. It looked different. It felt different. More people were here. For the past 2 years, it was only me and Jong Hyun, but now there are people other than us. The real golden family started to come back. I saw their connections. They all indeed were a family. I felt left out.

One thing out of all really caught my attention and that was the connection between Jessica and Jesse. They were so close although the first impressions they gave about their relationship was "We do not like each other!"

I gazed at them from afar. They felt warm. Compatible. People despite their differences complemented each other. If I don't know better now, people living for each other. They were special to everyone.

Edward noticed me gazing at them. He smiles and said, " You too noticed. They are childhood friends, or I'd like to think so. Jesse arrived for the first time; the same time I did. He was the first person I met here. He's also the only one who knows my SN here beside Loyal and my brothers."

"What about Jessica? Didn't she come with Jesse?"

"Not at first. But she came with him the second time. And... [ACF's eyes were felled with passion] I brought Loyal with me too."

"You know what... this seems like a family. One big happy family. And I too would like to be a part of it one day."

Asami stopped at that, or I thought she did. I do not know if it was really what she said next, but I heard her saying, "I hope those people were here too."

"She thought we are one happy family" I repeated to myself for the longest time.

That was the third time she smiled. And this time it was a cold breeze of a sunset.
